When I called to report the issue, he requested my credit card information over the phone in order to process a refund. When I expressed discomfort with providing that information over the phone, he responded dismissively and implied that I was not genuinely interested in resolving the matter. I later returned to the store in person and showed him the piece of plastic directly, yet his attitude remained condescending and dismissive throughout the interaction. As customers, we expect both quality products and respectful customer service, especially considering the premium prices being charged. I truly hope this experience does not reflect the standards and values associated with Erewhon.
