Came in on a Tuesday evening to pass some time and had a pleasant experience. The coffee shop is spacious and clean. Ordered a hot Macchiato, Americano, and Matcha Latte for myself and the family. The drinks did not disappoint. The service was good. The ladies were patient as we asked questions and made our selections. I'm not in this area often but I would come back to grab a drink and get some work done. Seems like a family or community oriented business as people were studying, getting tutoring, and mingling. Drinks were delicious. Pastries for the most part were fairly priced considering that they are from Costco. I would like to add that it could get really hot inside the place. I think they may have a fan and the doors are open. Service was for the most part. Good can't really complain about that. Hollywood Coffee House is such an underrated little gem in this East Hollywood area of LA! I've stopped by a few times now - it's a great option in the area for grabbing a coffee or some other drink and either relaxing a bit or getting work done. The inside space is very spacious and there's room for live music or other performances, although I've never come while something such as that is going on. There's also a lovely little outdoor patio space with some tables that I often enjoy utilizing on a lovely day while doing some work on my laptop! They offer a wide variety of coffee, blended drinks, teas and juices as well as some pastries. Indoor layout was very spacious with a rustic design. Furthermore, they have a cute front outdoor seats for those who prefer a different view. I arrived one early Saturday morning and was amiably greeted by a female staff. I ordered a small Iced Coffee ($2) with milk. After taking a small sip, I was flummoxed on how ghastly it was in quality and taste. It's the worst iced coffee I ever had in my life. Thus, I threw it away immediately. I had high expectation from this coffee house given it's good reviews. However, having said that, they do have relaxing atmosphere and fast service. Prices were reasonable. Free parking available albeit limited. Staff was friendly and professional. Overall, I am reticent to recommend this cute coffee house. read more

When traffic is through the roof, I can count on this place to get work done until it dies down. There are plenty of tables, with ample amount of seating. There is also a few outlets to study and charge. There's outdoor seating as well. If you get hungry, they have snacks and desserts. I love their macaroons, their sliced wraps with a side of mustard, FRESHLY JUICED JUICES, and different iced coffees. They have the rare commodity of a parking lot and there's some street and metered parking. This place is the place to get really productive when in need. This cafe is such a peaceful and great spot to work for a bit in such a great looking place. They staff and owners really look like they're putting in a lot of effort to make it as zen as possible. Their menu is quite sizeable with a handful of choices in teas, coffees, and food. I only gave it 4 stars because of the parking. Of course, they can't help it because it's in Hollywood and there's limited space but that does affect my decision to go to a venue or not. The front parking is reserved for Hollywood Coffee House customers for 30-min and there's electric vehicle parking across the street from 8 AM - 8 PM. Finding my left rear signal light has a hole and covered with duck tape. I remember when I was walking to my car, the owner of the coffee shop and water shop was sitting behind my car looking at me. I've only been here once when I was very sick and my immune system needed a pick me up. I'm not sure which juice I bought but they have a pretty good selection to choose from. I also noticed they had some dessert goodies for sale as well but didn't try those. The place is in a plaza and the interior isn't very inviting but I would definitely visit this place again for more juices! read more

A beautiful rainy day here in Hollywood Blvd and I was in need of a studio key to be duplicated and no one was available after 3 attempts I find a key copy place and a coffee shop next to it and to my surprise it's owned by the key master and Arman was super nice and his daughter who made my coffee helped me out with getting me a not to strong coffee it's Austrian coffee and I absolutely fell in love with it!! Second impression: The place is run by two young sisters, both very friendly and create an attentive environment. Third impression: rather large amount of pastries, pies, and a variety of coffee drinks and freshly made juices Fourth impression: I tried a Citrus Boost (freshly made with Ginger, Apple, Orange, Lemon - no powder or sirup!) and the also freshly made LOCA Juice (Apple, Orange, Lemon, Cucumber). I cant explain what it is about their coffee, but it tastes so good. Definitely the best coffee I've ever had. I usually get the shaken espresso or the iced mocha, which are my absolute favorites. They have milk substitutes if you want non dairy milk. Also, their freshly made juices are very good. They make it right in front of you and it's so satisfying to watch! The staff is incredible and the customer service is always on point. The house has a very fool vibe and there are many tables where you can sit and study or work in a quiet place ! The restroom was immaculately clean and well decorated; the furniture was was comforting and made my planning task easier. The highlight was the charming barista. She is a young lady from Georgia (the nation not state); I swear I melted into a pool of butter as a result of her courtesy and charm.
