I've been coming here for about a year now, and there just isn't really any other place I'd rather go for juice. My issue with most juice places is the lack of veggies they put into the mix, which is often 1 part veg to 4 parts fruit. While JCJ offers more fruit based juices, they also have a great choice of veggie balanced juices. You can even order the juice (not smoothie) in half gallon and gallon if you call ahead of time. My most favorite here is the antibiotic elixir with half the ginger and garlic. The homemade chicken mix is sooooooo good, and I can eat it forever as sandwich, salad, whatever. I am MOST bummed that there aren't chicken wraps anymore (PLEASE bring it back!!). The service here is direct and prompt, not too over friendly but still very courteous. I really wanted to continue to patronize this place. It's local, black owned and healthy. Unfortunately I have neither the time nor patience to wait 30 minutes for anything much less juice that isn't optimally healthy. All the juices have more fruit than vegetables and is not cold pressed. The customer service is extremely poor. The employees aren't knowledgeable about the products they're selling. There is no effort to be efficient. There is only 1 juicer and 1 blender. read more

Great vibes, good energy! Amazing selection of drinks! The staff are very knowledgeable on what's what! Occasionally they will get busy but they do accept phone orders. You can see them cut the fruit and blend the drink which is a plus! Over all my day is typically better leaving here than when arriving - good product great service! Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got around to it. Been there everyday since. Veggies are fresh, place is clean and the price is great. I have had the all greens and daily dose. Both were good but now I ask to hold the garlic it's just a little to strong for my taste. Glad I finally got around to trying this place. read more

Customer service is bad, walked at at 6:30 am, two ladies working behind the counter, no other customers, waited a couple minutes, no acknowledgement, so i asked, was anyone working, the lady told me was texting the owner for more supplies, she would be with me in a few minutes, walked out. IF I could give this place "NO STAR" "NO BUENO" I WOULD!!!! I was excited that my co-worker told us about this juice bar and we were dying to try it. So after reading all of the reviews - I was a little put off but I've always been a person who try things out for myself, before I make any type of JUDGEMENT calls. So TODAY 1/11/17 after reading ALL the reviews I got the same impression that 1)BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE 2)TAKES FOREVER to get your order so I decided I would be a smart consumer and call in a order. I was going to go through the entire issue but you know what all I can say is people are right about this place -- it's SO UNFORTUNATE someone name Laura/Lori Operations Manager spoke with me with even a worse attitude than the worker that hung up on me. And asked me if I knew what time it was that they have a store FULL of customers and I told her that -- it would have been nice if you would have said that when I first called -- leaving someone unattended makes me believe that you don't NEED/WANT my business. With today's social media reviews can break you or make you -- my advice to the Owner. Dear Owner, Please know that everyone that you employee is a representation and reflection of YOU, YOUR DREAM, YOUR LOANS, YOUR PASSION. I wouldn't allow ANYONE to destroy that..even if I had to work by myself to get it done. Try employing people that have an awesome background in CUSTOMER SERVICE -- being able to tell someone that the wait is going to be longer because of the morning rush hour, lunch hour, Sunday after church crowd -- it speaks VOLUME. COMMUNICATION IS KEY -- all we (consumers) want is just COMMUNICATION. Tell me when I walk in that my drink is going to take 45 mins. (Hey if I can wait for a burger and fries, I can certainly wait for something healthy and good for me)! JUST BE HONEST -- let me as the consumer decide if I want to wait or not. Please do better at selecting who represents you -- they HAVE TO CARE about your dream. I would conduct a personality test before I put ANYBODY in front of MY customers -- check out references -- just do better in the hiring process and please DON'T HIRE YOUR FRIENDS!!!! I want you to succeed, heck I NEED YOU TO SUCCEED -- unfortunately your employees DON'T. I am a Recruiter and I work for city of Long Beach (FDA) -- what you didn't know -- is that my boss was buying drinks for all (13 employees) to start off our New Year's Workforce -- Well Balance Mind, Body and Soul Experiment -- so your employees just cost you NEW business (so sad and I'm truly sorry) -- had someone run to Jumba Juice (yikes). So see Owner, you never know who your customers are -- who they know and would gladly contribute to your dream. WHAT CAN I SAY OWNER DO BETTER after all IT'S YOUR DREAM! P.S. Anyone willing to go toe-to-toe with customers (Laura - Ops Manager) should find herself in the unemployment line -- maybe you should start recording the phone orders -- that would give you a better idea of what is really going on behind the scenes. I live here....I'm not lying the girls there can vouch for me. I love love LOVE this place. I pretty much live on a juice diet. I have juice in the morning for breakfast with chia seeds and juice for dinner. Normally I make my own, but lunch time is a different story. For lunch I usually go out with my co-workers so I try to eat a healthy meal and drink some juice! Their location is about 5 minutes away from where I work and I go there all the time to get some fresh juice. My normal order is the Daily Dose and/or Spinsation. There are a few others I like to get too. I came in not feeling well and got the Fight a Cold juice and felt better about an hour later. When I'm tired, I get the recommended ginger shot to wake up. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and welcoming. I've pretty much got my company addicted to this place and hope that this review brings them some more business because they deserve it! read more

Had a horrible experience at this place. The heavy lady there with braids is so rude and has very bad customer service. Their was a young guy there who should really be the one in charge because he was very nice. I wish I dealt with him the whole time because you can tell he likes his job. I totally could of took my money to a mall which is where I was headed in the first place. Things were so bad I wouldn't even know where to start but what I will tell anyone I know thinking of visiting this place is if your not a regular or in a suit don't waste your time. I was excited to try this spot out but I really wish I would have kept my $6bucks. The owner need a secret shopper badly to catch this chick with the attitude face and bothered attitude because of her I will not think about returning or suggest anyone else to spend money here Black owned or not. The only good thing is they have a nice collection of books but so does amazon & the library. read more
