I've always walked by this juice bar plenty of times since I work on the same block. However, I've never gone inside. My colleagues decided to grab a smoothie for their breakfast, so I decided to tag along. Judging from the number of people here who come from work and tourists as well, there must be repeat customers. Anyways, after trying both the peanut butter split and the Mucho mango, I noticed how they're very tasty. There are other varieties of drinks that I would like to try on my next visits to the juice store.

Had an high protein meal and I cannot complain. For my drink I went for "Hale to kale" a very green juice which was not bitter, it was very tasty and flavorful. Next my Açaí bowl I went for the "Hella Good Greens" and the names speaks for it self I enjoyed it. So if you're on east 42nd street stop by and have a healthy meal

Great smoothies! I work in the area from time to time. I usually don't eat breakfast but I needed something to eat before I could take an anti-inflammatory pill for my back and decided to see if I could get a smoothie so I could take my pill. Juice Generation was nearby and had a smoothie with ingredients close to what I normally get so I ordered one from there. My smoothie arrived quickly. I love the tamper-proof tape they use. You can't tear it if you wanted...my smoothie was in tact and it tasted great. I got the Peanut Butter Split with oat milk. I wished I could have customized it more to my liking on the app but you're limited. I'm sure if you order in person, you're able to make more adjustments. I would have loved adding some plant protein because that's how I usually make my own smoothies at home. Since I enjoyed my smoothie so much and I had a light day at work, I ordered two more to bring home for my kids. My son asked for the Watermelon Dragon and my daughter wanted the Smooth Strawberry. The orders again, arrived quickly and were neatly packaged. They kept well and traveled well. My son marveled at the tamper tape, loving the fact that he needed to use scissors to open the bag. Both of my kids thoroughly enjoyed their smoothies. My Little actually finished the whole thing. She loves smoothies but she never finishes a whole one at a time. We usually have to put it in the fridge which means she might never finish it but she nursed this one for a couple of hours and drank it all. I was impressed. I would order from them in the future. I hope they adjust their ordering process to allow for more customization of their signature smoothies, or at the very least, allow for you to be able to customize your own smoothie in a way that has all of the ingredients they have available in the app. I want the luxury of ordering online, the same as if I were ordering in person.

This was my first time at Juice Generation and I was def happy with my experience! The location is pretty spacious and clean, although there is very minimal seating. When I went around noon on a Monday there was no line. The employee who took my order was friendly and kindly answered my questions about the menu. I ordered PB & Joe smoothie which is peanut butter, milk, banana, cacao and a bit of coffee. This was soooo good and pretty filling, and the texture was great -- creamy and thick but also smooth. I waited about 10 minutes and there were only a couple other people there so I could see a long wait if it was busy. Still though, I would definitely return here!

Juice Generation wasn't the best smoothie ever, but it's hard to find healthy options in the area, so I'm grateful it's there! If you're looking for something nutritious and fresh, it's a solid option. I got the "Protein Buzz" smoothie. It could have been more flavorful, but it was good enough for what I needed. The items are expensive, but it's fresh food in NYC, so that's expected! The staff was friendly, and the store was clean. There isn't really seating, so plan to get your smoothie and go.

Such a cute spot right by the hotel I stayed st this weekend. They had a lot of options from juices, to smoothies, açai bowls and ginger shots. Workers were very welcoming and helpful. Prices were fair! Definitely going back.

I absolutely LOVE Juice Generation. I come here at least twice every time I'm in the city! This location is my favorite I've been to so far! The staff were so friendly and super fast service. I also loved how they had nice benches by the windows for seating opposed to the usually stools or no seating like some other locations. This was also the best made P-Nutty Protein bowl I've ever had, so tasty, healthy, and filling!

My go to breakfast spot for when I want something quick and healthy! I really like their smoothies because the texture is very satisfying. I usually add protein powder to the smoothie also which makes it a super filling breakfast. Def recommend. They also have acai bowls and healthy-ish donuts / banana bread etc. that I want to try

OMG. Hands down one of the best acai bowls in the city. Seriously, their bowl with the dragon fruit is so friggin' delicious. That said, they're not all winners. They have one that infuses coffee in it and we basically spit that out and had to have them remake us something that wasn't less unpleasant. The drawback to JG is that they are pretty rigid in their acai bowls. There's no create your own option, so you're pretty much left with having to tweak the three they offer, which can get dull and boring and get old fast leading to having to only get acai bowls from here on occasion. We definitely like the bowls, but wish they had more variety and options.

Clean and friendly service. The menu choices are great and you can make your own mix of juices or smoothies. There acai bowls looked delcious as well. The anazing thing was that they have fresh wheatgrass that they cut and juiced per order. The juices are pricer than ive had before but it was fresh and refreshing

The worst açaí bowl I've ever had. It was bland, with low quality of açaí and granola.

I tried to explain to the employee that my friend suffers from mental issues, to please keep him there while I arrived. When I got to the store about 15 minutes later, my friend was gone. This used to be sweet bistro where many days and nights were shared with friends. This particular storefront is even more rare because it's not a chain and is open late, for the way working folk have needed to live here for a long time. It's not Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe (or whatever that chain's named), but a humble spot where the selection of vitamins, herbs, topicals and a few pantry staples probably contains exactly what you're looking for. Ask any of my neighbors what they think about your cough, sniffle or dry skin, and they'll tell you, "Go see the vitamin guy on 23rd." And you should. Because for years, he's dispensed sound counsel to a number of us whose needs aren't easily addressed by either of those aforementioned chains or that chain pharmacy who makes you summon a worker to unlock some dental floss. I'd been recovering from RSV when my husband stopped by the Vitamin Guy and told him about my lingering cough and shallow breathing. He brought home some Olbas syrup and a tincture containing a melange of herbs, half of which I was familiar as a TCM patient for a number of years. Within week one I was feeling great relief. A neighbor who'd been hit with the same condition went and had his own chat and relief success story a week after me, and unprompted, said, "Vitamin Guy saved me again!" This is but one of many ways Vitamin Guy's helped me, my husband and many neighbors over 18 years. Go see him the next time you're wondering what you can do about whatever's ailing you; he probably has some sound advice to share, and you'd be keeping the lights on amid the many otherwise darkened storefronts that don't exactly inspire confidence around greater Chelsea.
