Take my money! Lover of juices and all things green. A couple take out bottles quick time because we needed that hydration station.

I noticed a lot of Juice Generations here in New York and can see why they are so popular. My colleague and I stopped by to grab some freshly squeezed juice to replenish our thirst after spending an afternoon walking around Central Park. I ordered the Green Guardian smoothie and she ordered the Hail to Kale juice. My smoothie had a very strong ginger taste. I like ginger so I didn't mind the strong taste, but for those who don't love ginger, I would recommend the Hail to Kale instead. I liked both drinks and found them refreshing in different ways. Have patience when you come here. Everything is made fresh to order, all real fresh ingredients, and they are packed. We waited a good 30 minutes for our drinks, but it was so worth it! The store is decent sized, but because they are popular, it was a bit packed. They have bottled juices if you want to grab and go. There's a variety of healthy snacks too. The store was nicely decorated. I would definitely come again next time I'm in New York!

A nice stop for a pick-me-up -- this smoothie and juice shop is conveniently located right next to Central Park and is very clearly an on-the-go vibe. The store is basically a long ordering window with pre-prepared juices and smoothies. I got the OPP and subbed the almond butter for peanut butter -- the protein felt a little bit chalky, but otherwise the taste was decently good and great for a hot day.

Honestly LOVED their PB açaí. They had it ready so quick even though the shop was super busy. It's clearly a franchise vibe with just a place to pick up your food, no seating. But honestly my bowl was so fresh, the granola was SO delicious I can't stop thinking about it. The açaí blend itself had me drooling, the peanut butter went so well with the sweetness from açaí berries. It was definitely filling as well. Definitely recommend this specific bowl at least!

Yummy and delicious smoothies, but a little expensive ($10). I really like the watermelon dragon smoothies, as it is really refreshing and the flavor blends well together. It has been a staple after running in Central Park. The staffs are all nice.

A bit expensive but if you want to do something healthy for your body it's a decent choice. This chain offers a variety of juices and smoothies to choose from. I've had a few here and the staff does a good job. The protein and juice smoothie varieties are tasty. I just won't ever do wheatgrass as that stuff is nasty. Not a normal thing for me though as it's about $10 for a drink. Ouch.

This location is super convenient on my way to work when I'm feeling a nice healthy size protein shake! I've noticed a lot of comments stating that it's pricey but I'm used to shakes costing a little over $10 (especially protein shakes) so I'm okay with that (it's a treat yourself kind of option, not everyday)! My favorite protein shake is the OPP with organic plant protein, avocado, banana, almond butter & I add oat milk! The first time I got it , I was skeptical about the avocado part but it ended up being perfect! I pay around $11 for the 20 oz! It's delicious & filling!!! The front desk is always super positive & they're really quick! Def give them a try if you're in the neighborhood!

Love Juice Generation sooo much. Tasty, filling, and convenient. Pricey, but occasional treat. They have the formula where it makes it not icy, but not watery either. More elevated than Jamba Juice. Will come back occasionally.

Joyful Almond is my favorite smoothie. Enjoyed it too much that I forgot to take a picture. Oops! There are some pastries available. I purchased a Strawberry Dragonfruit Donut. Not overtly sweet at all, just perfect. Would purchase again and/or try other flavors too. The staff is super friendly. I asked one of the staff members to help package my smoothie as I was traveling & they secured it off with wax paper and some stickers. Spilling avoided. The space is small, window space for standing to enjoy your smoothie/drink/bowl. Otherwise it's pick up and go. Definitely would visit again.

I wanted to try something different from Juice Press and Pressed and wound up here. I ordered the Joyful Almond (cocoa nibs, banana, almond butter, frozen coconut milk, and either almond or oat milk). It was so tasty. The second time I ordered it it was more runny. Looking forward to trying the other flavors. They also have a rewards program.

Stopped in here for something cool after walking all day. Tried the dragon fruit and the strawberry smoothies. They were surprisingly good. As people have said they're not the cheapest smoothies ever, but watching them cut up and blend fresh ingredients behind the counter showed me the value.

Peanut Butter Split. I love this place for my pre and post workout smoothies.I can also request to add protein shots to my drinks.

    Mr Greengenes
    Wei S.

Overall this place is good. I got my Mr Greengenes within 5 minutes while other people were waiting inside for a while, which was very surprised to me. Anyways, my drink tasted great a little lighter than I expected. Another observation was there was a cute dog came in while a staff was moving the trash can around. The sound from moving the trash can was so loud and scared the dog. I felt so bad for her.

This used to be sweet bistro where many days and nights were shared with friends. This particular storefront is even more rare because it's not a chain and is open late, for the way working folk have needed to live here for a long time. It's not Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe (or whatever that chain's named), but a humble spot where the selection of vitamins, herbs, topicals and a few pantry staples probably contains exactly what you're looking for. Ask any of my neighbors what they think about your cough, sniffle or dry skin, and they'll tell you, "Go see the vitamin guy on 23rd." And you should. Because for years, he's dispensed sound counsel to a number of us whose needs aren't easily addressed by either of those aforementioned chains or that chain pharmacy who makes you summon a worker to unlock some dental floss. I'd been recovering from RSV when my husband stopped by the Vitamin Guy and told him about my lingering cough and shallow breathing. He brought home some Olbas syrup and a tincture containing a melange of herbs, half of which I was familiar as a TCM patient for a number of years. Within week one I was feeling great relief. A neighbor who'd been hit with the same condition went and had his own chat and relief success story a week after me, and unprompted, said, "Vitamin Guy saved me again!" This is but one of many ways Vitamin Guy's helped me, my husband and many neighbors over 18 years. Go see him the next time you're wondering what you can do about whatever's ailing you; he probably has some sound advice to share, and you'd be keeping the lights on amid the many otherwise darkened storefronts that don't exactly inspire confidence around greater Chelsea.
