Fine spot for some juice when I'm feeling healthy. I've tried their blue lemonade and sea moss lemonade, after doing a bit of reading on sea moss. I wish the yuzu flavors in the sea moss lemonade were a bit stronger, though, and the sea moss lemonade does feel a bit overly sweet for a health drink (though, it is flavored with agave and not sugar which is a plus!) Super quick service (can just pick up a bottle, pay, and go). Can't speak to the ambience as much as I've never sat down to eat, but I definitely like to come by whenever I get a juice itch!

Juice Generation is a cute little juice/smoothie shop chain in NYC that promotes healthy options. After being awake for almost 48 hours traveling back from Hawaii, I was exhausted and felt like I was coming down with a cold so I figured a citrus smoothie would be just what I needed before proceeding to my last leg back home to VA. The "Orange C Monster™" smoothie was delicious and just what I needed before going home. The ordering process was also pretty easy, ordered on a screen and had my smoothie a few moments later with virtually no wait. I'd definitely order a smoothie from Juice Generation again if I happen to pass by one the next time I'm in NYC.

Came here because I was craving a refreshing acai bowl in this NY heat. I ordered the Almond Butter Bliss bowl. It was good, my only complaint would be that it barely had any almond butter. Everything tasted fresh and it was very refreshing.

I rarely give 5 stars but I can't stop moaning and obsessing over this smoothie I got walking home from Penn Station tonight. Truth be told, I saw someone drinking a Blue Majik smoothie on Instagram which is from Juice Press and needed a quick dinner so I ended up accidentally searching "Juice Generation" on Yelp and ended up here-- seriously the best mistake I've ever made! When I asked for a Blue Majik, the employees were sweet and chuckled because I obviously had the wrong juice spot. Whoops! But I decided to stay anyway and ended up ordering the Power Plant Smoothie (unsweetened + almond milk) and I CANNOT GET OVER HOW PHENOMENAL IT IS. The Power Plant smoothie has the BEST texture, you almost chew with every sip, so it's very filling, full of fiber and has 17 grams of protein. It's also a vibrant bright green color which makes me feel extra healthy, under 500 calories with 11 grams of fiber. I love that the only sweetness comes from pineapple so it's an easy choice for dinner if I'm feeling bloated. The only thing is that there's a sneaky 29 grams of fat in it. So it's better for mornings even though I'll be eating it for dinners. Sorry to rant, but like, this was the best mistake ever. Sorry Juice Press...... Plant Protein smoothie obsessed.

This was a good decision. I was in need of some fruits and veggies and decided to opt for having them all shoved into one dish thanks to an açaí bowl for $10.75. The team at Juice Generation was friendly and speedy with taking orders and getting customers out the door and on their way in a timely manner. I ordered the almond butter bowl with added spinach pureed in. The bowl was topped with coconut, strawberries, bananas and granola. The bagged it up with a spoon and napkin and voila, my morning was started on a healthy foot. While there, I noticed that they also sell pressed juices, immunity shots, smoothies, prepared salads and whole coconuts. I fought the urge to grab a whole coconut = so good! If you're in the area and looking for guilt free eats, this is your spot.

Decent juice place that reminds me a little of Jamba Juice. The store is in a small nook on 23rd St but it's right by the subway entrance. No seating but they did have counter railing. I don't recall all of the choices but I went with a mango fruit smoothie. Very thick and delicious. I'll be sure to come back when I'm in the area again.

I definitely recommend this business, every summer I eat raw vegan completely I even go to the Woodstock festival just to do full seven days of raw vegan food. I've been drinking coconuts from this location for as long as I can remember, I love the rocket salads at all times of the day, I love the açaí bowls they cool my body temperature down, when I have a fever.

Same price, same cup, different sizes. This place is not cheap at all, and they don't mind if they serve less than what you have paid for.

Was craving an açaí bowl on a hot day and Juice Generation delivered! Got the almond bliss bowl ($10.95) and a Cold Warrior (spoiler alert: served hot). Almond bliss has granola, banana, strawberry, almond butter, and blueberries. Wish there was a little more granola, but it was still good. Would come back again

My go to is the smooth strawberry with peanut butter. I prefer thicker smoothies but it is so refreshing and really tasty. Need to come back to try the juices!

So the prices went up.. crazy! And they haven't even updated it on the menus.

I trusted that I was being charged correctly. Big mistake. I asked for the receipt to be sent electronically, and when I later reviewed it, I discovered that the quantities charged for certain items did not match what I actually purchased. I was charged for quantities I did not take home. I contacted Amazon expecting a simple correction. Instead, I was told they would need to "start an investigation," interview the cashier, and contact me during the investigation. Give me a break. I just spent $415 on groceries. I should not have to spend more of my time participating in an investigation because their checkout was inaccurate. That is what makes this particularly unacceptable. With a $400+ grocery purchase, it is practically impossible to verify dozens of items and quantities while standing at a busy checkout. Customers naturally assume that if they buy one item, they will be charged for one--not two or three. You discover the discrepancy later, and suddenly correcting their mistake becomes your burden. Be aware and check your receipt carefully. Do not be as naive as I was in simply trusting that the quantities were entered correctly. And frankly, considering how busy I am, I will very likely not shop at this Whole Foods again. Grocery shopping is supposed to save me time, not create an investigation and another chore because I trusted the store to charge me accurately. There are plenty of places where I can spend $415 on groceries without having to audit my receipt afterward.

This used to be sweet bistro where many days and nights were shared with friends. This particular storefront is even more rare because it's not a chain and is open late, for the way working folk have needed to live here for a long time. It's not Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe (or whatever that chain's named), but a humble spot where the selection of vitamins, herbs, topicals and a few pantry staples probably contains exactly what you're looking for. Ask any of my neighbors what they think about your cough, sniffle or dry skin, and they'll tell you, "Go see the vitamin guy on 23rd." And you should. Because for years, he's dispensed sound counsel to a number of us whose needs aren't easily addressed by either of those aforementioned chains or that chain pharmacy who makes you summon a worker to unlock some dental floss. I'd been recovering from RSV when my husband stopped by the Vitamin Guy and told him about my lingering cough and shallow breathing. He brought home some Olbas syrup and a tincture containing a melange of herbs, half of which I was familiar as a TCM patient for a number of years. Within week one I was feeling great relief. A neighbor who'd been hit with the same condition went and had his own chat and relief success story a week after me, and unprompted, said, "Vitamin Guy saved me again!" This is but one of many ways Vitamin Guy's helped me, my husband and many neighbors over 18 years. Go see him the next time you're wondering what you can do about whatever's ailing you; he probably has some sound advice to share, and you'd be keeping the lights on amid the many otherwise darkened storefronts that don't exactly inspire confidence around greater Chelsea.
