We came to this juice shop in Buena Park because I searched it was the closest to our hotel we were staying at. We are not from around here. The service we received here from Server: Joshuary P. (Name on receipt) was excellent. She gave great service, and efficiently made our order and even drew little ghosts on our drinks which made it so festive as it was Halloween. I had their protein acai bowl and large evergreen smoothie. Both were out of this world! Their protein acai bowl had just the right amount of peanut butter, as most places either give too much or too little. My bf had their strawberry horchata and vital proteins bowl (it was blue colored) and he said it was really good too! Afterwards we went to the Homegoods next door which was also so cool. Service was HORRIBLE . Greed is filled in the açai bowls. The girls were wearing pajamas to work , it must have been pajama day. They charge for the extra that is made out of your bowls ( $1.50 ) & blamed the manager for it . Worst part is when i walked out to take a picture of the restaurant for my review i saw her dump the entire thing out . What would have hurt her to give me what i paid for $10.99? Little girl needs to experience more of life to know the value of food that is being PAID FOR , lazy girl didnt even know where the 'button' was at in the machine to charge for The Extra . I will be taking my business elsewhere. Fyi, this açai bowl was given away to someone else that can indulge on it since i left with a bitter taste of this biz. read more

First time going and it was a good experience. I ordered the detoxifier and it was very tasty. My daughter ordered the strawberry wave bowl and she finished it. She doesn't usually finish her food but this time she did. I would definitely go back & try their other drinks. Unfortunately, there was only one worker that time (10:30am) and customers started coming in. She was very efficient and friendly despite being alone. I had Juice It Up! at another location, their Açaí berry smoothie was really good so I craved it for the longest time but when I came to this location on spring st in Long Beach it just wasn't the same. Service was a bit slow I think they were new so i understand but also 2 guys that came in after me who I saw place their order at the counter received their drinks before me and keep in mind I had already been waiting about 10 minutes before they walked in, I was not in a rush so it was fine but I don't think it's fair to put some before others. I had just gotten surgery & I really needed a "cleanse". I specifically came here for the detoxifier. It is a bit pricey but considering how expensive everything is nowadays, I guess I'm not too shocked. I ordered mine without the ginger because it greatly improves the taste without it. Bad experience at this location. It's dark in there and always dirty, trash on the ground and the seats. I ordered online today 12/14 while shopping next door and time said 20 minutes. Which is fine but I arrived earlier than that, there's nobody in the store. I sat down and just waited, girl asked me if I'm ready to order and I replied i just ordered online. She asks if I just put the order in a few minutes ago to which I reply Yes, she said Well You have to wait. I reply that's fine. I understand, thinking she has many other orders to fill, I am fine with waiting. To my surprise, the girl just starts texting on her phone. Sicily and Regan were my servers here and they were amazing! I came in looking for a drink for my daughter and they helped guide me through a customized drink that fit her pallette. She's a 2 yr old so it was tough to find a premade drink that fits what she likes. They also were very accommodating to my request because there was a peanut butter protein coffee drink that I liked but I couldn't drink more coffee that day, so they adjusted it to remove the coffee and it tasted almost the same. I like their Build-Your-Own Bowl option so that I can customize it to exactly how I want it. For your bases, you can choose up to 3. My favorite is their Organic Acai, but I also like their Dragon Fruit and Passion Fruit bases. The three of them went really well together. You also have the option to add honey and 3 toppings. You can always add more for an additional cost. An acai bowl needs granola, so I like getting the Hemp Plus Granola, plus lots of fruits like strawberries, blueberries, and pineapples. They also have a limited time bowl, the Paçoca Acai Bowl. It has Layered Coconut and Sambazon Açaí base topped with Hemp Plus Granola, Banana, Coconut Flakes, and Paçoca. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Paçoca, a sweet Brazilian peanut crumble, at first, but I ended up really enjoying it! I also tried the Vital Proteins Blue Smoothie. It's not bad, but it wasn't my favorite. I'd prefer to get an acai bowl instead!

The process was slow, for us and those who ordered ahead of us. The seating area is so so. There nice booths on either side, but the center row of tables is a bit too wide so when sitting there I felt like I was in the way of people trying to walk by. There is no decor, besides scattered plants, which is fine, it's just funny that they didn't stick with the "Strange" theme from the cafe with their psychedelic 70s prints. The food was ok. My husband had the tres amigos breakfast tacos with chorizo. It came with no sides, just 3 chorizo and egg tacos. Beans would have been appreciated. They were not very flavorful. I had the chilaquiles with asada and the green salsa. The green salsa was very tasty. The asada was ok. My husband took some of my salsa covered chips to add to his tacos for more flavor. One annoying thing is the amount of single use disposable plastic they use. All the drinks come in plastic cups, even water, the salsas come in those small salsa containers with lids. I'm no tree hugger, but i think we do have a responsibility to be conscientious and not create more waste and trash than necessary. Just buy reusable and wash the dishes. It just seems lazy. You can tell the owner is trying to save money wherever they can, to the detriment of their customers and the environment. If they had servers taking orders at your table and real serve ware, the experience would have been better and maybe we'd plan to come back, but as it stands now we won't be back. My husband said "they don't know who they are", and I agree.
