I've been coming here at least once a week for food and tea, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered takeout, and when I got home, I realized one of the teas was missing. I returned and calmly explained the situation, but the server responded with an attitude, saying I should know which drink was missing. While preparing the replacement, the server handled items with bare hands, even reaching inside the tea container from the fridge getting his hands wet with the tea in the process, (basically putting his hands inside the tea container). That raised serious hygiene concerns for me. I ended up throwing the drinks away because I no longer felt comfortable consuming them. They offered a free drink for next time, but unfortunately, this experience has made me lose trust. I hope management takes food safety and customer service more seriously going forward. read more

Excellent customer service, there was quite a few of us and not everyone knows what to order, but the staff was so patient and very knowledgeable when we have questions. This place has been here for a long time, it's right next to boba time but for me the boba, jelly and the flavor of the drinks here are better. I try to never pass up a bargain when it comes to food or beverages. I can in because if an advertisement of half off when getting two milk teas. I got one with mini boba and one plain, both half sweet and iced. Refreshing without being too sweet or strong on tea ( it can sometimes taste bitter). Solo young man was courteous and efficient- taking orders and preparing them. There's a kiosk for placing your order as well. Cute little spot in the same plaza as 99 Ranch grocery. Right next door is a newly opened Hawaiian BBQ restaurant. Parking can be a little bit hard depending on on the time of day. They also are confident about the heat seal on takeout containers- they put them side by side with one literally upside down in the bag to conserve space! I've been wanting to try Lollicup for the longest time now and since I was in the area, I figured I'd stopped by. Upon arrival, the cashiers were having a friendly conversation and it seemed like I interrupted something. Being my first time, I had no idea what to order or even what they had. The cashier kind of stared at me and I felt pressured into ordering the first thing I saw on the menu. He mentioned I could upgrade my drink and I asked if they had fountain drinks and he said no but didn't offer or suggest any other drink. Again, I picked a random drink. 1/13/23 It'll be the last time I'm coming to THIS Lollicup. Taro slush with boba was okay tasting, maybe too sweet (I should've asked for half sweet). Boba is good & chewy. What is irritating is the lack of acknowledgment from the two male staff inside the shop. No customers were in there. One of them was looking down at the till while the other was looking at him. His eyes were at eye level, not looking down. I'm about 3 feet away & I stand there waiting for either of them to say Hi, how can I help you?.... Cricket, cricket, cricket and I decided I'd do their job & acknowledge them. Hey there, hello how are you doin'? They both seem a bit startled & finally looked up & the guy (not manning the till) finally said, "He'll be right with you, he's almost finished." Whatever happened to customer service? I usually like to call ahead and order, the phone rang awhile but was finally picked up. I was told to hold on the line. Seven minutes later, I was still on hold as I step into the store. The server greeted me and I said: you can hang up the phone now, I am here. He picked up the phone in front of him and said: oh, sorry. I believe this location has changed hands a few times over the past decade or so, but it remains a reliable choice for your boba needs. I miss the days when they used to sell steamed dumplings, which were my go-to for a quick meal, but I tried the ground pork noodles and they were very tasty and filling and importantly for me, not spicy. At a time when all the late-night eating places have either shut down or no longer stay open very long, it's nice to have a place where you can still order a meal after 10pm that isn't just a burger or a taco. read more

I always get the large chicken and fries combo extra spicy for the popcorn chicken. I've gotten it a few times and never had any problems with it. Normally i'll get a green milk tea, but someone ordered a honey dew smoothie one time and I smelled it and was curious, so I've been hooked on that ever since. I've been coming here for years. I like how they have the point system after buying the 10th drink, you get a free one. I also like the buy one get one half off milk tea Boba for my kids because it saves me money. It's a hang out bonding thing to do by coming here with my kids on my free time. We get to eat some popcorn chicken, Boba and walk around the Plaza. My gave place to go to after coming here is daiso. I remember taking my kids here when they were toddlers and running around the fountain. You have the usual homeless guy walking around digging through trash...but I haven't seen him come through here recently. There's a board and care down the street near little India village, so you can see some homeless or unstable ppl walking around. Have been doing this for years for a late night, filling, good eat. Service is usually never great but it's good enough. But tonight? What the f was wrong with the guy working the register? He's cold, rude, cuts you off while ordering, doesn't listen to requests.... Honestly, I'd rather have used a kiosk to order than deal with this guy's attitude. Didn't even ask if I wanted it for here/Togo, and when food came out, it was to-go. Start eating and there's no utensils, go to counter to ask for it, "it's in the bag already". No, it's not.
