This is not a corporate location, so beware! They don't give a shit. Like, at all. As soon as I walked in the only girl working there by herself told me it would be a 15-20 min wait before she could begin making our smoothies due to an order she just received. Seriously?! Before ordering I explained to her I had a Dining Advantage BOGO coupon that I BOUGHT and it was specifically for their location. I have never had issues using these coupons at any other Juice it Up! All I can say is WOW! I asked my wife to get us juice it up today. She went in today at 5:20pm She stood there for a few minutes while the girl was cleaning a machine. The girl turned looked at my wife & didn't say anything & turned back to continue cleaning the machine. So then my wife said are you closed & still she said nothing. Finally a guy came out to help my wife. Right after that another customer walked in & then that girl stopped what she was doing to help that person. I'm sorry but not sorry for what I'm about to say.. Why would this girl be so rude as in to not say a word to my wife like "hello, I'll be right with you, or someone will be right with you." I understand if she was busy but Cleaning doesn't impair you from speaking words it's not like she was using her mouth to clean the machine. Then to not even respond to my wife when being asked if they were closed is another rude action. What was her deal for her to act as thou my wife was invisible but not the other customer who she greeted with great customer service. Does she have something against LBGTQ? Because my woman is a stem fem. I'm just trying to figure it out on why she treated my wife like that but not the other customer. I'm in customer service & even on bad days I still give every customer a good experience no matter what. This was my second time at the location. I went for lunch on Wednesday 6/18/16. I ordered a medium energizer. The girl ask if I'd like some ice. I said yes. I received my juice, but noticed it was only 3/4 full that was including the ICE. I asked her to please fill it up WITH THE REST OF THE JUICE. She said yes, she took my container and filled it with more ice. I said, for the price of $7.95 I would have expected more juice. I noticed that the first time I was in the shop the guy was completely honest and filled the container to the appropriate portion. I don't think I'll be back. The two girls who were working were your typical mean girls in high school. I had a reward for a buy one get one free smoothie with my card linked to the app like Juice It up promotes people to use. For whatever reason my card that is linked to my account wasn't working in the store and the girl kept telling me it wasn't working which OKAY I UNDERSTANDABLE sometimes things don't work like intended to. So I was like easy fix I'll order ahead on the app since my card works just fine there.... HOWEVER when she scanned my card in attempt to pay it said my reward was used so when I was ordering ahead in the app I had to pay full price for two large smoothies. So I made this aware to her and her sassy rude self told me she doesn't know how to help me... even though she clearly saw I had a reward and now it was gone. And I was telling her okay well can I pay ahead for one smoothie but have you make the other for free like I came in here. She looked at me like I was so broke for not being able to afford two smoothies, which no worker should do. Yesterday I order my usual passion ,I gave my phone for them to take in the store and scan after 5 min of waiting for a order I placed 15 min prior. I've been coming to Juice it Up (not this location in particular) for almost 20 years. Whenever I visit LA, I almost always stop in at least a couple of times. My order has always been the same: Jumpin Java with soy...now no longer a menu item but delish if you like coffee flavored drinks =) Location is great and clean. Staff is super friendly which is always appreciated. The only downside is that the drinks don't always taste the same (which obviously they should). A trainee made my drink and something was "off" but perhaps it was just that one time. I didn't have time to go back for a re-do so I let it be. Over all it has to get only 2 stars and that's the 2 owners fault. The employees and the smoothies they make honestly deserve 5 stars, but the owners ruined the rating altogether. Why? Well the owners only allow ONE employee at the store each shift!! Just ONE! That's ridiculous! The poor employee is probably stressing out even though they never show it, but any human would get a little stressed trying to handle phone calls, customers at the register, doing dishes in the back AND making the smoothies!!! They do get it done, but it does take some time. While they are making my smoothie the customer behind me has to wait for their order to be taken. Makes no sense and just takes a whole lot of time away from everyone. It would be better if there was at least 2 employees on the clock at each shift. One could be making smoothies and the other answer phones and runs the register and they could alternate and also both do equal cleaning around the store. But noooo owners are probably too stingy! The 2 owners are husband and wife. One time the wife was on duty she took my order and made my smoothie. I asked for no banana (cause I'm allergic to banana) and I saw her add it anyway. Before I could tell her she had already blended it. I told her nicely "Oh I asked for no banana, sorry." She stared at me like I should just take it. And she even kept trying to give it to me!
