First visit to Juicilicious today! We each got a smoothie to share. After many recommendations we got the Everything but the Kitchen Sink and seasonal Dragon Smoothie! Both were delicious and fresh. Staff was friendly. We will probably be back, their bowls sounded amazing!

It looks like there was a lot of people grabbing food to go as well. If you like breakfast, you need to come here!

Listen, I'm not saying this place is difficult to find. But if it weren't for the big sign just…read morebeyond the actual building itself, I'd have blinked once and missed it completely. Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. Till then, Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee in Salem gets 4 cracked eggs with bacon and beautifully seasoned hashbrowns out of 5.

The offerings include several signature crepes (savory and sweet), plus paninis, salads, soups, smoothies, tea drinks, and cold bottled drinks. The crepes served here are folded instead of rolled. Free samples of the crepes are usually handed out in front of the counter. The crepe prices are $5.45 (sweet crepes) $7.45-$7.95 (Vegetarian) and $7.45-$8.95 (signature (savory) crepes). The paninis with kettle chips are $7.95, sides extra. Salads are $4.95-$6.95. The service is quick after ordering and you can watch the staff make your food to order. I've stopped here at this location several times for the paninis in particular, which are actually pretty good! I enjoy the Tuna Panini, which is stuffed with plenty of albacore tuna salad, melted mozzarella cheese, tomato, romaine lettuce, and hot pressed on soft ciabatta bread. The kettle chips are salted and very crunchy. I also get a small side of pasta salad for $1 more. The sweet crepes and signature crepes I've had at Appleseed are pretty standard, which are folded in a triangle shape. I've had the Paris (filled with sliced bananas, Nutella, topped with powdered sugar, & toasted almonds) and Boston (filled with cinnamon apples & ricotta cheese, topped with caramel, whipped cream, & powdered sugar). The crepes were a bit messy to eat and tasted pretty good and very sweet. I only wish Appleseed offered gelato with their crepes, which would be great! As for the savory crepes, I've enjoyed the Atlantic (albacore tuna, mozzarella, romaine, and honey dijon sauce) and 1773 (smoked salmon, romaine, mixed baby leaves, zinfandel vinaigrette, & dressing in a spinach crepe). Both were good and tasty lunch crepes.

While I grew up in Salem, NH - I loved to Los Angeles almost 20 years ago and every year at Christmas time look forward to my parents sending us Farmhouse Roasters Coffee at Christmas time. I wouldn't say we're exactly coffee snobs, but let's just say we like what we like, and enjoy nice dark blends. My wife and I have made it a bit of tradition to buy each other different types of artisan coffee around the holidays from many local shops, brewers, etc... and honestly, I think Farmhouse Roasters Farmhouse Blend beats anything out there. I feel like we're kind of "chasing the high" as we search for different coffees to try, and always come back to Farmhouse Roasters which is super consistent every time. The restaurant is great too, but honestly, we haven't been since pre pandemic so I can't give a detailed review... but it's worth it to simply load up on coffee if you're local or buy online... which we need to do more often.

I would definitely come back.
