They had a dairy special, good value at that price. They are a lot like In and Out. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The burger was juicy and tasted great. I can't believe that this burger joint used to be one of the best in downtown area to one that's "stay away from this place" or "just go to MacDonald's". It's reminiscent of how their Northwest branch closed their doors because of poor customer service. I had received several positive recommendations for Juicy Burger so I finally tried it out. I had the single burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayonnaise. It was great! I love that you can choose exactly how you want your burger and the ordering process is very easy. They were very busy, (Friday at lunch time) but the food arrived quickly. Good burger, but not great when considering the prices. The fries were way too greasy for my taste. Soda machines were both having difficulties working correctly. And the front end sales machine wasn't working when I arrived. I had to wait for them to fix it. I also had mentioned wanting sweet potato fries to the cook while waiting for them to fix the machine but I guess I wasn't charged for them by the time the machine was up and running again so I ended up getting plain old greasy potato fries. The person who took my order was polite and courteous though. Overall neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with this place. Just another burger joint. Did like the atmosphere in the lobby. I have been to Juicy Burger a handful of times. I am now a vegetarian, but I did get the opportunity to try everything they have. I thought the burgers and chicken sandwiches were really good. The meat was really tender and the buns were really good as well. I like the idea of creating your own, but it seems like the price of the burger adds up fast once you make it how you like. I've easily spent $25 here for 2 burger combos. I love their fries, both regular and sweet potato. Last time I went, I got a fried egg sandwich, and I was actually surprised that I liked it. It kind of tasted like a really hearty breakfast sandwich, and I would definitely order it again. The service is a little slow, and the cashiers don't always seem very happy to be there, and sometimes it feels like they are rushing you to order. Also, it is often kind of dirty, like it seems like they don't buss the tables very often. The free cookie that they give you is not worth eating, but its free so you can't complain. Very unhappy. I ordered Juicy Burger through UberEats last night. I purchased 2 single burger combo meals and 1 double burger combo meal. All of the fries were wet and soggy which my daughter refused to eat. The lettuce was brown, wilted and also wet which we had to throw out. All three burgers were smashed and dry. Not to mention our food was cold. I did not receive the ketchup packets and ranch as I had requested on my order. And my daughter's Pepsi was not full!! No straws either. This is the 2nd time I ordered this food. The first time was fine which is why I ordered this 2nd time. However, this 2nd time was the worst and will be my last. All for $40. Very dissatisfied. So far the price is similar to moo creamery, but more than In n Out. The chili cheese fries were nothing special, they had a Carls Jr. taste. I ordered the double burger with a chipotle mayo and it was tasty, but still in my opinion it is below Moo Creamery and In n Out. This was a close drive from our hotel. The staff was friendly and patient (so many combinations to chose from). My order was to go and was neatly packed and labeled in the order it was placed. Coupons will be scrutinized and subject to change depending on how they feel that day. If you use groupon, good luck. Sometimes they won't accept it if there is a quarter moon and the scorpio constellation is 30 degrees off. And even though the fine print says your coupon is good for the original price after expiration, they will use it against you because it is expired after all. And even if you purchased more coupons for family members, since you are the original purchaser and even though you clicked on the "gift" option, you can only use one of the coupons on different days and not the same visit. Same thing for any Dreyers coupons for next door. Even if you ask for different checks, they saw you all walk in as a group. But like I said, the burgers are good in the end, just good luck using a coupon. For similar prices and better service, I would rather chance it at Eureka! read more

This restaurant appears to want to compete with In and Out Burger. My wife and I found the burgers to be a little better than most burger chains, but not nearly as good as In and Out Burgers. Custom order forms are a nice touch. The prices are reasonable and their fries are better than most places. Before I begin, I will discuss my experience as thorough yet to the point as much as possible and give my overall score of this place... I decided to try this place out and see what people liked about this place. I have been seeing the ads for this at the Theater. I went with a friend. He and I went in a were greeted immediately. We went up to order and the lady asked what we wanted and we told her this was our first time here. She immediately gave us their writable menu to choose what we wanted on our burger and if we wanted fries and etc.. We took a quick minute and checked off what we wanted. I ordered a a1/4 lb burger with lettuce, tomato, turkey bacon, thousand island, cheddar cheese and purple onions. I did not order any fries and instead ordered a vanilla milk shake. My order came to about $9 and some odd cents. We sat down and I checked out the design and what was up on the walls. It looked very 50s retro style restaurant feel to it, somewhat similar to In-N-Out, Five guys or Leo's burgers. We received our orders about 3-4 minutes later and we dug in. At the very first bite I was already able to compare burgers to ones around the area. This burger lacked very rich taste in the meat itself. The onions were the very first flavor I could taste before the meat or anything else. After the second bite I got the taste of the burger and so on. The lay out of the burger was not well. All the ingredients were everywhere.the onions were all in one line and not spread out. the burger was half ways out one side. the bacon were thrown on there and there was not much of thousand island. After my burger I tried my milk shake, and the shake was very thick! after some stirs and punches to the cup, I managed to smooth it out and take a good sip of it. The taste was fantastic! Very rich and creamy. I enjoyed it as much and made it last as long as I could. I wanted the burger to have been more fluid with flavor but instead got very dull tasting burger. I d not recommend people eat here just for the burger. If you are driving past and you are in a very hungry mood and have about $13 to spend for the burger, fries and drink then I would say go for it. All in all I will go back to try the hot dog fries and another choice in milk shakes. read more

I remember going here when it first opened and the hamburgers tasted great. Recently I'm not sure what's going on, but the patty's seem too 'perfect', as in shape. I'm really hoping they are using some hamburger press, instead of prefab burgers. But even with the hamburger press, the meat becomes too dense, and doesn't remain juicy. I also once went and ordered a burger, and saw them take a precooked burger, out of a container, and throw it on the grill. BAD. Yummy burgers! you can be unique and create your own. The 1st time I went, I had them put an Ortega chili and mushrooms; but hey, you are the boss of your palate and only you know what you like. The only thing that I would consider a con is that the bread felt steamed instead of lightly toasted. We have eaten at Juicy Burger several times. We are always pleased with the food and service. The meat is what makes the hamburger great tasting. On top of that, they have numerous items from which to choose to add to the taste of the hamburger. One nice touch is that they use fresh jalapeno peppers and they also offer pepper jack cheese. The dining room can be noisy with the 50's and 60's rock and roll being played a little too loudly. The customers try to talk over the music and it makes quite a din. If the weather is right, you can sit at the sidewalk table which is much quieter. Recently when we were there they had a person order thirty hamburgers to go. This taxed there service ability, but we did not have to wait too long to get our hamburgers. The owner or manager came out to our table on the sidewalk and asked if we had to wait too long and apologized. I overheard her tell the person ordering the thirty hamburgers that she had accommodated her this time, but would not be able to do that in the future. The owners also operate a Dreyer's Ice Cream Shop next door and you can order shakes and malts at the same time as you order your hamburgers. A convenience is that they have small clip boards with a menu checklist upon which you can indicate how you want your hamburger prepared. This makes the service quicker and more accurate.
