Full disclosure, my meal from Juicy Joint was delivery. So, I can't speak to the overall ambiance or vibe of the actual restaurant itself. I can say that they make one delicious burger I'm kind of a sucker for smash burgers, especially ones that offer special sauce(s). And the delicious pictures on DoorDash really seals the deal for me. They have a variety of smash burgers, sliders, loaded hotdogs, and even tacos on their menu. All the base foods have much of the same components, so, it's not like they're all over the place. It's actually a very creative. They also have fries, onion rings, loaded fries, juices, shakes, and other desserts Watching through the app my meal wasn't estimated to take very long, and it was completed ahead of that estimated time Again, the burger was delightful. So much flavor, and just the right amount of messy. The fries were fine, but I also have to consider that they were transported and not that I was eating them fresh. The cookie was a bit of a let down because it was store bought, and was more dry than I would have wanted. But that's the only negative thing I have to say about them Some tips: You can find them on food delivery services like DoorDash. Juicy Joint- please do better, okay?! Knock it off! Your expertise is the burger which isn't even mid. It's absolutely trash and that's where it ended up. I really want a refund but I'll let that go in lieu of you making juicy, hearty, and well-seasoned burgers. So, when ordering a burger here just know that it's small like kids meal burger. We'll, more like neonatal than a kid. Disappointing when the pictures show different! Who are you people that actually liked this disaster? Maybe the smash patty is on trend but it's really on par with the choice to give you less and make you pay extra for what you were getting before without costing extra. The food is pretty good but the workers there are really really stingy lol. I ordered onion rings , 4 sliders and French fries and I asked for a dipping sauce for the onion rings she says we don't have any. Then I see the menu they have ranch and I ask for one she said "NO, you have to pay for that, it's 85 cents" ordered that much food those stingy people can't even give a ranch , it's crazy. Stopped by Juicy Joint Food Truck in the Galleria food truck park. The wait time wasn't long at all, which was a plus we got our food pretty quickly even with a few people ahead of us. I ordered the "Walk It Out Classic" a prime beef burger that was cheesy & juicy with golden fries. I ordered it to be cut in half (nice touch), and the bun was toasted to perfection buttery, crisp, and held together well. The sauce added flavor, but the burger itself was just okay. Nothing really wowed me it lacked something I couldn't point my finger on. My friend had the "Walk It Out Melt". Same deal with the fries and toasted bun, but the melt needed a little seasoning to bring it to life. Fries were crispy and well cooked, probably the highlight of the meal. Service was friendly and the overall vibe at the Galleria truck park was laid back and inviting. Gets busy at night with the other food trucks but the food was decent, but not something I'd go out of my way for. Maybe worth trying once if you're already in the area. read more

Some say this is the best burger in houston but I still haven't found that. To pay nearly 4 dollars extra for wagyu for the meat to have no flavor is highly disappointing. All I really tasted was cheese. The pickles were nice tho and were either grilllos or homemade. I also paid extra for crispy onions on top of chopped onions and did not taste them. This establishment caught my attention due to their social media presence, but keep in mind, things on social media can be deceiving and this was the case. Parking was easy but the food was not easy going down. They have two types of hot dogs and I paid $20. The price is ludicrous. The Walk It Out Dog- the hot dog did not taste fully cooked. A lot of chili which made the bun soggy AF. East side Sachi Dog- again the hot dog did not fully seem fully cooked. The sauce was very very sweet. The wagyu meat was cooked to perfection and tasted great. We got the mushroom burger and the jalapeno one. I would say the jalapeno one wasn't spicy at all which was a little disappointing. We had it with the juicy joint sauce & honey mustard sauce which was very flavorful. I wanted them to have a spicy sauce to eat with the fries/ greasy burger. It could be a little messy to eat, but it was sanitary and well packed for a food truck. Ordered off of uber eats so experience dining in may be better. Had the walk it out classic and was not disappointed at all! Flavorful patties and bun was nice and soft. Well put together especially with the sauce, no complaints on that front. My only issue was with the fries, they came cold and hard as if they were at the bottom of the pan. I really enjoy this place, and their food is phenomenal. My only gripe and the reason I took away a star is because they don't put any cautionary measures for those of us ordering through door dash to ensure that our food and drink aren't tampered with. This is my first time ordering a drink from them through door dash and the cup is a dome lid with a hole in the middle. Even Starbucks will put a huge sticker over the hole along with a big sticker over the entire cup to make sure the delivery drivers can't tamper with it unnoticed. Same with the food, they could tie it then use tape to tie the two handles together. What we ordered * walk it out classic * jalopeno groovie sizzler + fries - the fries are great, but I feel like the burger patties itself were a little under seasoned. * butter caramel bliss - I feel like I could taste like milk powder in the milkshake, so personally I wasn't a huge fan of it. Vibe 6/10 - it's located in a food truck lot, so there's no real sitting area. What more can I say about this fabulous food coach thing besides the Wagyu burger at $17 it's pricey but the shit hit and for extra trade Mercedes is there with joy suggestions and healthy conversation. The other two guys are cooking. I forget their name but they also Miguel Was great burgers came out amazing. The selection of juices was 50-50. I love partner hated, or it was still too early to organic. All in all wonderful wonderful place. So was looking for a good burger didnt want In n Out, Whataburger, Burger King or any of the regular go-to's, we decided to give this place a shot, I should have just done the Clutch City Cluckers across the parking lot. There was hardly anyone there, have to put order in via tablet and it sends a text says give them about 5 mins to be ready. It was a larger order for the family so i was like yeah ok ill just chill. I get no text saying its readyn but i see people coming and going after us. So after about 25 mins, I go ask whats going on with my order, and that was my first mistake i think. Probably should have just cancelled at this point, they hadnt even started on it. $120 food order that was just sitting, no one had so much as dropped a french fry, half hearted apology but they rush our order and burn every patty for every burger we ordered the only thing half way palatable was the hotdog. It was ok nothing to write home about and definitely overpriced but it was the only thing that could be eaten, fries were cold. I even paid extra for the wagyu they hyped up... theres well done, then extra well done, these were just charred!!! All you could taste was the dry burnt carcass of a burger shell from the first bite. I tried a second bite thinking maybe it was just the edge a bit overdone. Nope, flaming hot charred mess all the way through. Only thing i found juicy was the hole left in my wallet for the prouduct received. For quick reference i ordered to build your own burger combos one prime one wagyu, a walk it out classic Wagyu combo, walk it out fries - wagyu, and a jalepeno groove sizzler wagyu combo, the walk it out dog was the onky solid bite of the bunch. Tried Juicy Joint out on the last day of their grand opening weekend. We got the mushroom burger, walk it out hot dog, and caramel bliss shake. The burger was decent, but my husband said the beef patty lacked seasoning. I took a bite of it and was put off by a piece of beef bacon the was all tendon and unchewable, so I can't give my true opinion on the taste of the burger. They initially forgot the shredded cheese on top of the hot dog, but quickly fixed it. The cheese is just cold shredded cheese on top of the rest of the toppings, so it didn't really add much to the flavor. The wagyu hot dog itself was not a great hot dog compared to ones you can get at the store. There are definitely store bought brands of beef franks I prefer to the one that was in this dog. The star of the show was the caramel bliss shake. That thing was delicious! Not too sweet and with a hint of biscoff flavor. Their fries are also pretty good. My husband who doesn't usually like fries ate all of his fries. Customer service was good. They play loud music from the food truck which makes it hard to hear when they call out your order number, and you also kind of have to yell to place your order. Overall, I would definitely be back for a shake, but I think there are better places for a burger/hot dog. read more
