Massages were individual and allowed us to utilize the sauna while the other was getting a massage. He was professional and it was a great massage. Pricing was extremely reasonable and we will be back. We normally go to Fire and Ice in Dedham, but they lack an in room cold plunge, which we really enjoy in combination with the sauna experience. It can be a bit disruptive to other clients' peace and relaxation to have women chatting loudly in sauna and steam rooms (and even squealing in the cold plunge.) Unfortunately, the facility has hit a bit of a decline lately. What used to be impeccably dry, clean floors are now prone to dust and hairballs, and it's gotten so wet in the wet sauna areas that they've just started putting out "caution" signs instead of actually keeping it dry. I've seen quite a few people slip. Even the "unlimited" towel perk has been downgraded to a strict two-towel limit, and the food portions and quality have shrunk exponentially compared to the cost they charge it at. That being said, there is one major saving grace: the Korean auntie who does the body scrubs. She is an absolute legend and deserves a massive raise for everything she puts up with! She's the main reason the experience still feels somewhat authentic and worth driving to. The rooms are also on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours, it's definitely more "crowded" than "calm." Honestly, the only reason I still make the trip is that it's the only K-spa within a reasonable driving distance from Boston. If there were more local options, I'd probably skip the decline here and head straight to NJ or NYC for a higher-quality experience. It's still a decent option if you're desperate for a scrub and a soak without the four-hour drive, but I really miss the high standards they had at the beginning.
