I have had subpar experiences every time at this establishment. I was moved two separate times so the nail tech could begin working on someone else. This alone is unprofessional. If you decide to work on another client, you should be the one moving. I was sitting with acetone for about 20 minutes. That is completely unacceptable, unnecessary, and unprofessional . This is after he used a drill on my dip top coat. He continued with the new customer and did not come to check my nails until I spoke up. He was beginning to put on tips for the other customer. The new nail tech asked me about five times if she could make one of my nails longer. I said no thanks, I want it how it is. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A sign at the business says to talk to management rather than go to Yelp.. but the key here is that poor communication and service were evident.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The business also only guarantees 7 days for dip, acrylic.. most places are two weeks. So they also are not confident in their skill and service. Also, there is a military discount but only for active duty members, not their spouses. That is so unfortunate. I'll be going to the nail salon further away from my house from now on. They support military members AND their spouses and provide a much better service. Prices were fair for services rendered. Nikki was very professional and honest in an exemplary way to me about the services and what she recommended to do on my nails. She was managing the staff, greeting all the incoming clients, and answering all phone calls while she was taking care of me. I was impressed by her performance in customer service & professionalism, yet I think a front desk person is needed to do these services. It did not bother me, yet I know certain types of clientele have different expectations and want no distractions. I was actually very impressed by her multitasking skills. She recommended a dip or Diamond nails over the acrylic I had ordered on my nails, so I decided to go in that direction. She explained how the Diamond nails was more durable and lasted longer than acrylic. It also came with a manicure. It was also more affordable. She took off the remnants of my acrylic which was a relief. The overall result was a more suitable option and very satisfactory. The only concerns I had were minimal, easily excusable, and resolved immediately. This is why I did not give the review a perfect score. I was not offered a drink like some of the clients. It was probably because I came in with a drink and did not ask. I bought a drink next door. There were some remnants of the nail powder dye left on my fingers and hands. I didn't notice all the dark nail dye all over my hands and fingers until I examined it outside, so I went back and had it immediately corrected to satisfactory standards. I'm sooo glad I did. Christine did my nails and Jasmine did my mom's. Both of them did an EXCELLENT job! Both of them were incredibly thorough, friendly and most importantly did a lovely job. I really loved the pedicure I received, but the 'polish change' I had done was poor. I asked for a manicure with regular polish, but this got misinterpreted as a change in polish despite having no polish on my nails when I walked into the place. I think what bugs me is that even after I explained this, I was told that I asked for a polish. I even selected on the walk-in device that I wanted a manicure and pedicure. I went along with the polish change that cost $15 and it was definitely not worth it. After I expressed that the job did not look good, I was told it was because it was a polish change and not a manicure which would of looked cleaner. Even though it was not a manicure, shouldn't every service at least be decent? It honestly was embarrassing and on top of that, I was told that the color was, "not good on me". I asked if I could come back to get a manicure and they said I could if I paid the difference. After thinking about it, I've decided this place is not worth any additional money. *wanted to update based on the business owners response to my review. I did not ask for a polish change and it was not repeatedly confirmed. I've seen you respond to countless other of reviews with the intention of counteracting every negative review with it being the customers fault. From the movement I walked in to see if I can schedule my appointment to the moment I walked out I felt this warm welcoming feeling that surrounded me. I usually get dip powder mani plus gel pedi and try to match them as much as I can. At this salon there was so many beautiful and vivid colors to choose from I had a hard time picking my favorite, in addition over half of dip power selection also has a perfect match in gel and regular nail polish. So for my matching queens out there this is the place that does it well! My pedicure went by perfectly, my nail color came out amazing, my achy ingrown toe nails were also tended to. I am beyond satisfied with my pedicure outcome. Manicure portion was a bit different to what I'm used to because I got dip powder done first then actual manicure. I was explained in a great detail benefits of doing it that way and I loved the fact that I let we something new during my appointment. I felt like I was well taken care of and I appreciate it very much. Mani and pedi both come with massage by the way! Decided to do lash tint on a whim since I need did it and now I am huge fan from my first time trying it. Niki was so attentive and sweet when she did my lashes and they came out looking fantastic. I've gone to this salon a handful of times since the location is very convenient. I used to go only for nails with Nikki and she always did a fantastic job with the shape, which is something I have a hard time liking elsewhere. The staff is pleasant, not overly welcoming but professional. The salon is clean and relaxing. However, yesterday I went in for a pedi and was thoroughly dissatisfied. The massage was sub par compared to other local salons and my gel polish job and shaping is awful! My husband asked if I did them myself...for $100+ that's unacceptable! First, the shaping. I agreed to have them cut down with the exception of the big toes, I wanted those squared off. One is squared, the other is rounded. Other toes are clipped/filed on an angle and 2 look like they weren't shaped at all. The polish is on my skin and sloppy, one of the toes has air bubbles or something across it and the other is lumpy. I seriously could have done a better job at home and saved myself the money. I haven't been in for a pedicure in over a year and was looking forward to the "me time". I left disappointed and sad that I paid for what I could've done better at home for free. I still tipped the tech and of course paid for my service without issue, as she was polite and, from afar, my toes seemed fine but once I got home I was very upset to see what they looked like. I wont be returning, the tech was much closer and should be experienced enough to have done a thorough job. When I got a feeling in the purple polish with thick and lumpy, and started to peel off within three days. My last set of nails has started to turn a yellowish green color. I won't be back. My sorority sister went there for a manicure, and they were rude to her when she asked about pushing back her cuticles.
