Decent entertainment, terrible atmosphere, overpriced food and drink. The atmosphere here is very strange, reminding me a strip club. Outside it looks like a converted sizzler with blacked out windows. Inside there is blacklights everywhere with with neon lights. The seating looks like a hotel buffet. Very tacky and simple decoration. The belly-dancers were ok, the first one was a bit overweight but kept us entertained. The MC was talented keeping the entertainment moving along, getting the crowd involved. I enjoyed the band, but have to fault them for overusing a synthesizer that had trouble producing realistic sounds. You can find just as good if not better food in this style throughout Chicago. Their hummus and falafel was top notch, although the 2 drink minimum at $8 a piece forced me to see past this. To be fair I was there from around 9 to 11:30 on a Saturday, but I was told that it gets really hopping after midnight. I would give them 3 stars, but have to knock them down one star for not respecting my privacy and the law by printing my entire credit card number on the receipt. Shame on you!

Big fun!. We were a group of 8 and certainly the ethnic minority here. However we were made to feel very welcome and our waiter (Mel) and the owner (Al) were exceptionally friendly and we were very well taken care of. Entertainment was awesome. We didn't know the music or songs but it was fascinating to people watch. Vanessa the Brazilian Belly dancer was gorgeous and very talented. Very authentic show. The place was sold out and obviously favored by the local middle eastern population. You want good ethnic food? Eat where they eat! Excellent food. Highly recommend the lamb chops. Hookah'd for the first time and I'm a fan! P.S Other reviews I have read stated "BYOB" this is not the case!

They are the worst. The service is bad and the food is terrible. Everyone should stay away.

There is only permit parking on Sacramento and the neighbors will call the cops. Valet parks on street when lot fills up.

Our favorite spot for Middle Eastern food! The hummus is lemony and garlicky, just perfect. The chicken shawarma with rice... WOW!

The food was absolutely delicious and I particularly loved the Shami and Koubidehs. The koubidehs were so tender and juicy. The service was phenomenal and they even brought us some tea and dessert (bamieh) for free. Kabobi is open late and was the perfect spot to chat while the rain died down. Definitely coming back when I'm in Chicago next time!

Even when it's busy--which is most of the time--they do a great job of getting everyone seated without a long wait. We almost always order the family meal. It starts with their fresh Persian salad and creamy hummus, which are the perfect way to begin the meal. The kabobs are always flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly, and the rice is just as delicious. My only suggestion would be to include a few more grilled vegetables on the family platter, as they pair so well with the rest of the meal. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. If you're looking for delicious Persian food that's perfect for sharing, Kabobi Grill is a great choice.

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.

Our server was so kind and never let us make the mistake of ordering the wrong thing. She gave us her recommendations every step of the way and every single one was perfect. What we got: Mint lemonade: 5/5. SO refreshing and delicious. Perfect sweetness and the little bit of pulp you get is great. I only wish there was more of it! Chicken arayes: 4.5/5. Crispy, cheesy, garlicky. Need I say more? Get some extra garlic on the side if you wanna take it up a notch. Fried halloumi: 4/5. These are like a soft mozzarella stick, so tasty. Definitely eat the pickles with them. Lamb chops: 4.5/5. 4 tender lamb chops seasoned beautifully. Definitely recommend the red rice over the yellow if you can handle a little bit of heat. Kanafeh: 5/5. Whoever thought that cheese, sweet syrup, phyllo, and pistachios would go together is a genius. Definitely don't leave without getting this dessert. The salt of the cheese perfectly balances out the sweetness. No notes! And get some peppermint tea to go with it too. And the portion sizes are huge! Definitely get your money's worth here. My only issue is this place is right by my job so now I'm gonna go broke getting food here all the time. But that's a problem I'd love to have!

Every meal we've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can truly taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The lamb shawarma is outstanding--perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma is just as delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the true star of the menu is the lentil soup. It is hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had--rich, comforting, full of flavor, and worth coming back for on its own. It deserves to be the #1 item on the menu! What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, making every visit feel like you're dining with family. A huge shoutout to Ali, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every customer feel appreciated. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are second to none. He takes the time to make sure everything is perfect, and his positive attitude truly elevates the entire dining experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or picking up dinner, Taste of Lebanon never disappoints. The food is authentic, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend Taste of Lebanon to anyone in Chicago looking for some of the best Lebanese food in the city. Thank you, Ali and the entire team, for your outstanding hospitality.
