Such a cute spot! There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors under the covered patio, and the service is quick and welcoming. The real highlight, though, is the food. We tried the chicken kabob, chicken shawarma sandwich, beef kabob, and of course a falafel--and every bite was delicious. A solid place worth visiting!

I opened my maps app and checked a 1.5 mile radius around this place and determined it is THE BEST quick lunch spot -- particularly if you consider the massive portion size for the money. The value is off the charts. The staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean. Honestly thrilled to have this little gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood. What an incredible spot.

Falafel and grill is an amazing fast causal resturant with two locations in Chicago and a third on the way. I can't recommend this spot enough if you love Mediterranean food! The falafel wrap was one of a kind and it was so flavorful, one of the best I've had! All of the portions are huge! The come with hummus and salad which is always such a treat!!

Their food was good and flavorful! The service was fast, they have both counter service and a kiosk for ordering. The location was clean and the food came out quick! I love Mediterranean food, and although it was my first time trying falafel and grill...it won't be my last! They're located in a strip, so there's a parking lot!

Can't believe it took me this long to discover this place. Talk about a great combination of fast efficient clean and tasty. This place fires on all cylinders. I ordered a meat combination, a side of falafel and a cup of lentil soup. Everything was delicious. I'm from the Middle East and everything tasted authentic. The restaurant has a nice clean atmosphere and friendly service. It seems to be a busy spot frequented by lots of cab and uber drivers. This for me is usually the sign of a hidden gem. Restaurant is located on the southwest corner of Clark and Montrose in a busy strip mall. But there was available parking even on a busy night. I will absolutely be coming back and strongly recommend for quality authentic middle eastern food.

Every meal we've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can truly taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The lamb shawarma is outstanding--perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma is just as delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the true star of the menu is the lentil soup. It is hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had--rich, comforting, full of flavor, and worth coming back for on its own. It deserves to be the #1 item on the menu! What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, making every visit feel like you're dining with family. A huge shoutout to Ali, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every customer feel appreciated. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are second to none. He takes the time to make sure everything is perfect, and his positive attitude truly elevates the entire dining experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or picking up dinner, Taste of Lebanon never disappoints. The food is authentic, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend Taste of Lebanon to anyone in Chicago looking for some of the best Lebanese food in the city. Thank you, Ali and the entire team, for your outstanding hospitality. The hummus is fantastic, and the falafel is some of the best I've had, but my hands down favourite item is the Chicken Shwarma Wrap. That's the winner for me. The crew here was very accommodating with catering when we had a company event... and I watched a huge tray of wraps disappear in what seemed like minutes, so I can attest they were popular with our attendees. This place is truly are more than meets the eye.

Crunchy on the outside and quite compact inside. Also had the spinach pie aka as spanakopita. This one was disappointing. I would not recommend. The dough was not made with phyllo like it should but was just a flour dough. The filling had a bitter after taste. We also ordered the chicken kebab plate and the gyro plate. Both were flavorful. Came with hummus and pita bread. Unfortunately did not take any photos of the food -not sure why but I must have been distracted. I have had better Mediterranean meals. This one was just ok.

Whether I'm grabbing a quick lunch or stopping in for dinner, the food has always been fresh, the service has been welcoming, and the overall experience has never disappointed. My order rarely changes because the patty melt is just that good. The burger is perfectly cooked with a flavorful sear, topped with melty cheese and caramelized onions that add just the right amount of sweetness. Everything comes together on a toasted sesame bun that's crisp on the outside while still soft enough to hold everything together. It's rich without being overly heavy, and every bite reminds me why I haven't felt the need to order anything else. The fries are equally deserving of praise. They're consistently served hot, crispy, and well-seasoned, with a fluffy interior that makes them impossible to stop eating. They taste like they're made fresh to order, and they're the perfect complement to the patty melt. I always tell myself I'll save a few for later, but that never seems to happen. Beyond the food, the staff has always been friendly, patient, and genuinely appreciative of their customers, which keeps me coming back just as much as the food. It's also in a convenient Uptown location that's easy to get to, making it a great option whether you're a local or just exploring the neighborhood. One thing I really appreciate is that Ragadan doesn't feel like it's chasing trends. Instead, it focuses on making high-quality food with unique Jordanian-inspired influences while still delivering familiar comfort food that anyone can enjoy. It's the kind of independent restaurant that's worth supporting because they consistently get the fundamentals right. I've recommended Ragadan to several friends, and it's become a place I don't hesitate to revisit whenever I'm craving a great burger. If it's your first time, do yourself a favor and order the patty melt with fries--you'll understand why it's become my standing order. It's one of Uptown's gems, and I'll definitely be back again.
