Service was amazing. We were seated fast and got a bite of baklava to end the meal. We got the salad, lentil soup which was pretty unique and good. The platters we got was the shawarma and combo Kebob which was also pretty good but not my favorite. Portion size was good.

First time ordering desserts from Libanais. Whoever makes this Pistachio Cake must get a raise, serious accolades for a job well done, and maybe a puppy! Soooooooooo delicious! Thank you!

Really enjoyed my meal here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a smaller size diner that has seating for small and large parties, but they were busy when we went on Sunday at 12 pm for a party of 3.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm glad we had a reservation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, you're welcomed by sooo many baked goodies and party trays of baklava, they all were mouth watering![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got a nice booth/table by the window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was fairly helpful throughout our time, we had to flag her down for water refill and the bill towards the end. Our food were ordered and brought out to us pretty quickly, which was impressive! I had chicken shawarma wrap with a basket of fries. I loved the wrap and the fries were extremely tasty and crunchy! The server also provided us baklava for our table after our meal which was appreciated. The baklava was flaky with the perfect texture and not too sweet. The bill was reasonable, I will have to come back to try their breakfast!

    A perfect 10

It's been a long time since I have enjoyed my food. 200% the most delicious, moist and flavorful dish that I have had in quite some time. From the decor, the service was outstanding, I wish I remembered her name but I do know she is Moroccan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a lovely place and the food OMG OUTSTANDING!!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The desert was a must since it's staring right at you with the many options available. I will definitely be back. I can't believe I never visited until now. You will not be disappointed. A perfect 10!!!

Update: our family continues to celebrate birthdays and other gatherings here as it is one of the few places we all love because there's something for everyone here. This time we made a res for 7 on a Sunday evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a nice table and it was easy to hear everyone because the noise level was low.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server is really helpful and understanding although service is a bit slow. My nephew loves the barramundi and gets it every time. My mom loves the veggie stew. Another nephew tried the lamb chops this time and loved them. I tried the mana'eesh which strangely came after all our orders came out - not sure if that's typical. But it was delicious. Two people didn't like it at all because the za'star felt just too much like eating straight spices to them. But a few of us really enjoyed this vegan dish. My niece got the raspberry mousse cake and loved it. I found it a little sweet but the compote was sour which balanced it quite nicely. Portion sizes are large and all of us except the teenage boys had plenty of leftovers for a nice lunch.

Don't feel like cooking, but want to eat healthy? Libanais in Lincolnwood has fast, fresh, & nutritious Mediterranean offerings. - Loved the veggie sampler with falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, salad, & fresh pita - Lentil soup was surprisingly large portion for $3.99. Very comforting & just salty enough. - The whole Bronzino is one of the best fish in Chicago! A hearty seasoned salt, deep fried, with olive oil and roasted vegetables, make it so you want it pick every piece of that meat off the bones! - Every meal ends with a square of baklava! Attentive service but didn't feel rushed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bustling, but cozy seating areas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't forget to check out their desserts.

lebanese desserts that taste like your grandma's! [[HIGHLIGHT]]loooove the vibes inside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the baklava platter options ready to go for any last minute special occasion. they are also amazing baklava. they're sweet and crunchy without being overly doused in syrup and the nuts used taste so fresh. their service is so home-like and warm. their halawet el jibn (sweet cheese) is SO fresh. i have to come back and try their shawarma and other beautiful pastries.

I'd had takeout delivered from here, but had never been inside. I was excited to dine in. It's a cute spot, and the food is really good. I really liked the spinach pie. My husband and I had a few things to share, mostly from the finger foods section of the menu, and everything was prepared so well. The bakery section features a wide variety of fun items to take away. We were there on a Sunday, and there were a lot of groups there, yet food came out super fast.

Continue to be a big fan of Libanais. We went for an early dinner and got their branzino as our main entree which is seasoned and fried up very nicely! We got the lentil soup as well and the veggie sampler that has hummus, baba ghanoush, grape leaves. Very satisfying and filling meal for 2. If I have to knock anything, the pita bread is only ok for me. I love that they end the meal with baklava! Service is great. We went at 4:30 so actually got a parking space by the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very family friendly environment and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Zaatar Mana'eesh Village Style
    Randa U.

We had the Zaatar Manakeesh, village style with mint, tomatoes, and olives. We also had fattoush salad, and ordered the combo plate. We also ordered kibbeh. The food was very good, one of the best middle eastern restaurants in Chicagoland. The prices aren't that crazy, and everything is fresh. The baklawa was also very fresh and delicious. Their sweets are also very good. Sometimes the service is hit or miss, which I wish it was more consistent. Regardless our experience was good and we very much enjoyed the food.

Zaatar and Cheese Mana'eesh - 9.5/10. The Zaatar was really good. Very authentic flavors

Service was great. Waitress was very helpful. Really nice restaurant and brings the lebanese vibe to it. Food was great. Will definitely be back Overall Food & Vibe 8.5/10

I see lots of vegetarian options. It looks like limited gluten free, unless don't eat the pita is considered a gluten free option?

I think you could let the kebabs and rice dishes, hold the pita and have a great meal. Not sure on GF desserts, but their dessert case features many more options than baklava.

Every meal we've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can truly taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The lamb shawarma is outstanding--perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken shawarma is just as delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the true star of the menu is the lentil soup. It is hands down the best lentil soup I've ever had--rich, comforting, full of flavor, and worth coming back for on its own. It deserves to be the #1 item on the menu! What makes this place even more special is the amazing customer service. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, making every visit feel like you're dining with family. A huge shoutout to Ali, who consistently goes above and beyond to make every customer feel appreciated. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are second to none. He takes the time to make sure everything is perfect, and his positive attitude truly elevates the entire dining experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or picking up dinner, Taste of Lebanon never disappoints. The food is authentic, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend Taste of Lebanon to anyone in Chicago looking for some of the best Lebanese food in the city. Thank you, Ali and the entire team, for your outstanding hospitality. This place has all the staples you expect in Levant cuisine, and best of all, they do everything well! I love this place because it's no frills, inexpensive, quick, and SO GOOD. The hummus is fantastic, and the falafel is some of the best I've had, but my hands down favourite item is the Chicken Shwarma Wrap. That's the winner for me. The crew here was very accommodating with catering when we had a company event... and I watched a huge tray of wraps disappear in what seemed like minutes, so I can attest they were popular with our attendees. This place is truly are more than meets the eye.

Now I have eaten at a lot of Mediteranean restaurants over the years & just like every other food type there are some great place, good places & mediocre places. Larsa's definitely rates in the great range. Their food is delicious. In the past people, myself included used Pita Inn as a benchmark, but that's mainly because in the beginning there wasn't much to compare to. I have been trying different Mediteranean restaurants and Larsa's left PI in the rear view mirror. You can't even begin to compare the food at Larsa's to the former as the ingredients and flavors are far superior. Sure the cost is a little more, but there is absolutely no comparison as Larsa's food is far superior everything is made individually and not an assembly line production We started with a cup of lentil soup. I was like a starving animal savoring every bit of that soup. I should have gotten a bowl as it was delicious. Our server Nadia also brought out a regular serving of the jalapeño & cilantro hummus served w/warm thin pita bread. OMG this was like heaven. My sister mentioned that she could make a meal out just the hummus and the pita and I agree. Next we had the Fatoush Salad this has crispy pita crust, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, green peppers w/a dressing with olive oil, lemon & sumac. This was just ok, but I liked the crispy pita bread it added a nice crunch. We split a combo platter as the portion size is very generous. This dish comes w/chicken kabobs, beef kifta, beef shawarma, red onions, tomatoes slices & basmati long grain rice. The kifta & chicken kabobs were both very tasty, it they were a little dry. The beef shawarma was cooked & seasoned perfectly as the pieces just melted in my mouth. Every once in awhile our server Nadia came by and was very helpful in telling us about dishes we had questions about. She was super cool and friendly. There was another server that was also very helpful, but we didn't catch her name. Sometimes you go to a restaurant that everyone raves about and you think ehhh what the big deal, but this isn't the case w/Larsa's. I will definitely be back again. Thanks for the heads up Yelpies you picked a winner.
