Finally made it over to Julianne's for breakfast with the family, and we had a really nice experience. The space is beautiful--very bright, airy, and modern, while still feeling comfortable enough for breakfast with a little one. I ordered the avocado toast and appreciated that they were happy to substitute sourdough for the multigrain listed on the menu. Avocado toast is obviously a pretty common breakfast dish, but the pickled onions were a nice touch and gave it a little something extra. Hubs ordered the Spanish omelet, which was HUGE and very filling. Our toddler may have been the happiest of all with her strawberry and banana smoothie! Our server was friendly, helpful and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, the food was solid, the atmosphere was lovely, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu as I'm also curious to see how the atmosphere changes for dinner. read more

Sat nite 530 pm ...walked in and sat right down. Very utilitarian atmosphere. Very bright. Almost cafeteria like. Our waiter seemed a tad inexperienced but did a decent job. Apps were meatballs and the feta dip with pita ...both were good. Focaccia was delish. Entrees were the vodka pasta with shrimp a cheese pizza and braised rib bolognese. The shrimp vodka pasta would rival any North end establishment. It was very rich with grilled shrimp. I'm told the Bolognese was also very good. The pizza was a tad floppy but was flavorful. Welcome to Milton, Julianne's! What used to be The Plate above Fruit Center in Milton is now a cute, modern little restaurant called Julianne's. Brought to you by the team behind Novara and Abby Park this kitchen and bar did not disappoint. With plenty of high tops, tables, and a bar across the way (they have two sides to sit) I loved what they did with the space. As a foodie and wine professional I appreciated their fun, but classic wine list. I opted for the Sparkling Frappato Rose from Sicily and it was delicious. For starters we ordered the baked feta with pita. The cheese didn't melt the way we thought but it was still good. Maybe a halloumi would be better? I really liked the olives on top which just added to the saltiness in the feta. Plus, it was large enough for us to share. For entrees, I ordered the Cod and my husband had the meatballs appetizer for dinner. The Cod was good. It came over Israeli Couscous and vegetables. It was a large portion. I wish it came in a bowl instead of a big plate since the sauce was almost overflowing over. My husband liked the meatballs but thought they were a bit too seasoned with oregano. And a good portion to share. We skipped dessert since we were both full. I will say I really enjoyed the service, and ambiance and think it will do well here. Julianne's Kitchen & Bar has opened at the Fruit Center Marketplace just north of East Milton Square. This casual eatery offers dine-in and takeout serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place has a bright casual modern dining room with tables, high top tables and booths and a full service bar area with TVs and tables nearby. This is a great place to grab takeout or enjoy a nice dine-in meal. During breakfast time, they serve coffee/espresso drinks, tea drinks, grab & go drinks, avocado toasts, egg dishes, bennies, omelets, chilaquiles, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, parfaits, breakfast pizzas, and pastries. The lunch menu offerings include a selection of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, soups, hand cut fries, and fish & chips. The dinner menu offerings include a selection of appetizers, pizzas, filet mignon, statler chicken, salmon, cod, and pasta dishes. The prices are moderate high. The bar offers 8 beers on draft, beer bottles/cans, wine by the glass, cocktails, non-alcoholic beer & wine, and mineral water. I stopped by Julianne's Kitchen & Bar for dinner during their opening week. I was given a menu and seated at a table in the bright dining room overlooking the parking lot. This was a good vantage point to watch my vehicle since there was 1 security officer and 1 police officer walking around the parking lot managing vehicles coming in and out and enforcing the 1 hour time limit to park. The server arrive to my table seconds after I was seated and poured some ice water. I placed my food order shortly after. For a starter, the Charcuterie Board ($20 plus tax) had a good spread of meats (capicola, prosciutto, soppressata, assorted soft cheeses, marcona almonds, vinny peppers, cornichons, crostini, fig jam spread, and whole grain mustard. For an entree, the Alla Vodka ($20 plus tax) was served very hot with a mix of soft campanelle pasta, creamy tomato vodka sauce, romano cheese, basil, and red chili flakes to spice this dish up. I also asked for a takeout container for half of the pasta dish to eat later on. The check was presented which was $42.80 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food here was fantastic. I also saw some of the appetizers the next table ordered including the PEI Mussels, Meatballs, and Roasted Feta, which all looked great. The service was adequate since the staff was standing at the other side of dining room watching things and food runners delivered my food in acceptable time. I made it back to my vehicle with 10 minutes to spare. NOTE: There is a 1 hour parking time limit for shoppers with tow warning signs. However, to really enjoy a nice meal here, you'll probably need more than an hour, perhaps closer to two hours if it gets busy. This parking time needs to be addressed between this business and the Center if it hasn't already. read more

Went on a weeknight at 6:30pm so it was not super busy. Love how easy the parking was. I've been looking forward to going to a restaurant that is in the same group as my other favorites in Milton (Abby Park & Novaro). So I had big expectations and they were met. The service was excellent, we were sat in the back bar/kitchen area, even though I would have preferred the front by the windows. If you have to choose between the dinning room and high tops, choose the dining room. But both were very beautifully decorated. The area we were in was not full so we had great service, although it might be like that always. I will let you know when I come back on a weekend. The drinks (spa water, and sangria) were excellent and beautifully presented. It was a quick dinner so we only had entrées. I had the seafood pasta special and as a self proclaimed seafood aficionado, I was amazed. Perfectly cooked, just like the homemade pasta and sauce. Amazing! Had lunch here today for the first time. It was pretty crowded but plenty of room. I had a chicken Caesar wrap and my friend had a falafel burger. Both were really good ( and chicken Caesar wrap can be bad) and came with hand cut fries. Everyone was really nice and multiple checked on us throughout our meal. I am visiting some friends in MA and we all decided to give Julianne's a try. Everyone was very kind and the food was delish! At one point I dropped some food on the floor and one of the employees, Aidan, helped me and made me feel so comfortable that I actually was laughing by the end of the interaction rather than being embarrassed. Aidan and his coworkers all are friendly people who want every customer to feel right at home with some yummy food. Definitely coming back next time I visit!! read more

Went when it was open for about 2 weeks. Bartender was fantastic - had "Good Juju" martini & charcuterie - delicious. Returned another day for brunch. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast 6/26. This is a newly opened place in the Milton Marketplace. I ordered the simple breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns, with coffee. My husband ordered the same but with sausage. Our first impression was that both meals were not served hot. The toast was either over buttered or liquid butter was used. If I go back I would ask for dry toast. They serve breakfast with a garnish of greens which was a surprise and turned out to be the star of the dish. It had a light and tasty lemon dressing. We had to ask for salt and pepper, they aren't on the tables. Our server didn't return for a bit so we had to wait for it for a while. Service was okay just ok. Bring a hoodie or sweater, the a/c is blasting. I'm not a fan of the more modern decor but it is bright with lots of windows in the room that overlooks the parking lot. I think they have some kinks to work out, but there are better options for breakfast in Milton, in my opinion. Maybe lunch or dinner is better, but with Abby Park and Novara just one street over I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon. read more

Where to start. Safe to say business is not booming for Julianne's as every time I go in there it's an absolute ghost town. Everyone in the place looks miserable. I dislike how you can see straight into their disgusting kitchen while you're ordering a coffee. I ordered the short rib melt to try for lunch and it was just terrible, simply terrible.
