It is such a quiet, nice little place that is perfect for a lunch or juice date. I usually get the lunch trio: green goddess avocado toast, golden beet salad and the coconut lentil soup. Yay we found a yummy juice spot in our neighborhood, I'd say about a mile away from home. Walk or drive it doesn't matter. We tried a couple of smoothies, my husband chose the smoothie w chocolate syrup. The chicken pesto Sandi was mmm good, it came w a small cup of vegan soup... not bad not bad at all. They were welcoming , and our order was ready pretty quick. We were next door at the hair extension place, hungry... so glad we took a chance and tried Julia's. I purchased my juice at their farmers market stand in Templeton. I love the colors of all the different juices on display. - I got the lemon ginger, which was absolutely delicious! The ginger packs a punch. I think I first tried Julia's juice at the SLO Thursday night farmers market. Then I discovered that she had a brick and mortar store and now I stop here every time I'm on a road trip past the area. My favorite is the lemon ginger juice but really I would try any of her juices, which is what I had to do yesterday as it was out. It is so great how Julia helps to heal the community through her juices and food. I always feel so much better after trying anything she makes. Her dad convinced me to try his lentil soup and I have been hooked and have to now get that when I stop in too. Her immunity shots are also really great as well, especially when you are sick. One of my most favorite places to visit when I'm in south county!! Their juices are fresh, and delicious, their soups are mouth watering, even the vegan ones, and their other food items are just as good! They don't just have amazing customer either, they go above and beyond. One day I came in sad after a drs appointment, and had ordered some soup and juice and noticed they had vegan hot chocolate that looked amazing(I am not vegan, just a lover of all foods) The owner, I believe, told me to go ahead and grab a cup, on the house. With tears in my eyes, I thanked her, and let her know that little acts of random kindness, truly matter. The first time I went to the restaurant I ordered the cashew yogurt bowl. Oh man. It was fresh, and super flavorful. It was topped with fresh fruit and sliced almonds. I didn't know cashew yogurt could be so good. The next time I ordered the raw pizza. Even writing this, raw pizza just doesn't sounds good but boy, was I wrong. It was cauliflower and tomato crust topped with mushroom, greens, cashew cheese, and other goodies. Trust me, just try it. I like all the healthy vegan and vegetarian options they have. I have never had such delicious fresh green juices in my life. The Nopal & Spinich, Lemon Ginger (super gingery) and the Gingy Beet were so delicious. I purchased the quart size in the mason jars. Really wonderful. I also got a large fresh pressed celery juice each morning. If you want to do a juice fast or just add some wonderful nutrients to your body you can't go wrong. I truly enjoyed the food from this cafe. Their superfood hot chocolate is made with some organic ingredients and is a great twist to the classic hot chocolate. It kept me warm on my walk along the street to local thrift stores. Their cashew acai bowl was so tasty and such a good nutty flavor added to the classic.
