Happy hour menu is very decent. I like the pizza. Mushroom manicotti is a must. Tenderloin is very tender.

Service was excellent and drinks were good. I'd mark the food as a mid though - my ravioli with brown butter sage sauce came with a literal creamy sauce. Very different than I've had this dish anywhere else. Typically it's more of a sage infused glaze. The bruschetta was similar, just a step or two off what you would get in similar upscale Italian restaurants. Juliet is excellent for groups with very friendly service. Just go in with a different mental model of what your food will be.

The food was ok at this place, the drinks were good. The seats outside are uncomfortable but our waitress was outstanding. Not sure if I'll come back. Outside is ok with good parking space, indoor is outdated and has a full bar

When we visited Austin, this place was on our itinerary and we thought we wouldn't be able to get and try to space but it all worked out for the best and we did! From the moment we arrived at complementary valet parking, and the two guys there provided excellent professional service. The food was absolutely amazing and very tasty. The ambience of the place is super clean and inviting. And to our server who made my nephew's birthday complete with complementary ice cream and even singing, happy birthday to him. My friend and I met for a leisurely Tuesday night dinner. I made reservations, but it turns out I didn't need them as it wasn't busy. There was plenty of parking available behind the restaurant. Happy hour was still going, so we both got a Spritz. I started with the whipped burrata and beet salad. It was a little bland and needed some acid and salt. My chicken piccata was really good though. The servings are very generous. My friend got the chicken Parmesan. They make the pasta in house and she said it was very well done. Our server was attentive and made good suggestions. I really like the layout of the restaurant. We sat in a smaller room, which made conversation quite easy. Overall and nice experience!

Cute little spot! Strong drinks!! Service left something to be desired but the food was great!!! We especially liked the arrancini, delicious flavor and perfectly cooked! I think that is a must order!!! I got the shrimp scampi which was also super flavorful!! Incredible portion sizes!

"Unfortunate" is probably the best way to sum up our experience at Juliet's. When we arrived we were very pleased to see they offer free valet parking. After giving our keys away we walked into what is a beautiful outside area at Juliet's. It's a nice mix of feeling like you're in downtown Austin but also not. We went inside to request two seats outside and this is unfortunately where everything fell apart. After being seated all the way at the very corner of the restaurant near the entrance, we didn't receive water for 15 minutes. In fact, we had to ask for water, as well as silverware, from a person who was cleaning a table- not a waiter. We didn't order until about 30 minutes after being seated. We noticed that others around us who were dressed nicer for the occasion were receiving service but we were not (jeans and a nice top as opposed to a dressy outfit). This is less of an accusation and more of an observation. It took another waiter noticing that we had not been served to come over and take our order, and that was 5 minutes after we had to flag down a busser to ask for water. The flip side of that whole first part is that the food was pretty good. We got complimentary table bread (after we asked for it since it never came before our main meal) that was soft and went well with the olive oil it came with. For our entrees we got the shrimp scampi and chicken parm. The shrimp scampi was fantastic and light with creamy and bold flavors in-between. The chicken parm was maybe the largest chicken cutlet we've seen given out at a restaurant. Not only was the cutlet massive but it was delicious as well with a nice, light breading and cheese on top. The spaghetti alongside it was a nice touch but this was a true chicken parm entree as it should be. We were offered a complimentary dessert as an apology for the miscues before we ate but turned it down (still good of them to offer). Leaving was easy as the valet was very attentive and quick to get our car. We wish we could say our time at Juliet's was perfect because the setting and food are very nice and a fun change of pace from the surrounding blocks. However, it's difficult to overlook the mistakes made from the jump. We noticed that another table next to us was also experiencing bad service and looked unhappy enough to leave in the middle of their meal/ We're always open to having good food again so hopefully the next time we're here things are different. Just an unfortunate bittersweet taste to what otherwise would have been a fantastic meal.

Nothing quite makes a dreamlike atmosphere like Juliet's! My hat is off to our waitress accommodating my father's preference for the cool air outside the patio tent. From the black truffle Arancini, squash ravioli, and Pinot Grigio... To lemon zesty cannolis and cappuccinos! Tonight was a fun night with my parents.

They had a happy hour menu on a Saturday, which was a nice surprise. Like most Italian and other mid tier places on the nicer side, prices skew a little high, but the happy hour menu had about half if what I wanted to sample there, which was a nice surprise. Service was attentive & excellent, nice decor & atmosphere. Food was solid. I'm picky about Italian food (Austin does not have strong choices) so it might be a 5 if it weren't for that. I'll probably go back, take more pictures next time.

This was another recommendation from a colleague, and I was glad we had a chance to go to Juliette in Austin. It's a acquaint little house converted restaurant very eclectic and great for a variety of taste. They have and Bo a menu full of the traditional Italian classics with a spin on some of the additional seafood dishes And overall I was impressed. I mean it's definitely Americanized Italian to some degree but you know the meatballs were tasty. The fried calamari with jalapeños were also good perfectly cooked. The bruschetta was also fresh refreshing with the pesto, and I enjoyed the scallops with the risotto and corn and spinach. Drinks were also a nice addition. This is a great date night spot or somewhere to come casually with friends on a weeknight it was getting busy towards the latter part of our dinner and impressive for A Wednesday night.

I liked Juliet as a spot to come hang out for a casual dinner. The bar top on the outside makes for a great lounge experience. I've had two things here: the pizza and the pasta. The pizza I ate in one full swoop and was down right amazing. I attached a photo of the ravioli with the bread as rich in flavour. It's a good date spot with a fun wait staff. I would take someone here for a casual first date with a walk in the neighborhood after.

My shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta. The toasted bread slices were great to mop up the luscious garlicky sauce.

My daughter and I enjoyed lunch here on a recent Saturday. Temperatures were in the low 80s, and the AC simply felt too cold for us so we asked to be seated outdoors. We wanted to chat, but there was a DJ outside, so we requested a quiet table. We were comfortably seated at a high table near a wall that provided some shade. There was a shade sail as well, but a gap meant that, by the end of our visit, the sun made it a bit uncomfortable. The scent of nearby blooming jasmine added charm to the setting. We were served ice water and fresh bread with a good olive oil soon after being seated. The food menu was somewhat limited, but there was a rather large bar menu. My daughter selected a ravioli entrée while I chose the shrimp scampi over angel hair. The food was beautifully presented and very flavorful. The portion size was perfect for us. Service was excellent. There's a large and convenient parking lot behind the restaurant. Juliet Italian Kitchen has several Austin-area locations. I wouldn't hesitate to revisit this one or try another.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. As for the venue itself: The inside is spacious and elegant. The bar stools are extremely comfortable. In fact, I'd describe them as elevated loungers. The main area is a good size and shape for larger groups. I appreciated that the music was not too loud to chat with your date. The restrooms are very clean and nice. The outdoor area in back was the biggest surprise. They have a nice, covered area with new outdoor furniture that is equipped with a pool table. Revenge is a hidden treasure. I recommend it for a relaxed, elegant evening.

They may not have expected so many people because it took a while to order a drink at the bar. It was not easy to navigate to the bar with the seats and I think another pole like obstruction, but my friend and I got our cocktails (Brushfire, Ranch water, vodka soda, and one other) and enjoyed them. It was hard to hear people talking inside so we went outside to enjoy their outside patio area and easier to hear conversations. Overall, I thought it was a nice bar with a cool vibe, interesting cocktail options, and various types of seating options.
