We hired Julio's Services to do our fall clean-up. We called to inquire and Julio came out within the hour, and give us an estimate quickly. Given how many leaves we had (SO. MANY. LEAVES.) and how much space we have, we felt that the price was more than fair. Julio had a team of guys out here the very next day, and holy cow. We were so impressed with the team's work. Not only did they get basically every single leaf, they also cleaned up all the dead plants, edged the driveway, and generally made sure our lawn was ready for winter! I agree with other reviewers that they were quick, efficient, and went above and beyond expectations. Our lawn hasn't looked better since we moved in. We're very impressed, and we'll be having Julio's back out to do our spring clean up and for maintenance throughout the summer. Update May 2019: We liked the previous service that we decided to hire Domingo's crew again, this time for a big project that includes rock mulching around the house, heavy duty plastic edging, buried gutter down spouts, a French drain for our sump pump outlets and plenty of sod. Again, he went above and beyond, kept us in the loop during the progress. We had heavy downpour which prevented the team from finishing up quickly but he made sure to let me know he's on it. My yard had fallen behind in maintenance (weeds, mulch, tree trimming, etc.) and I had sent an email Monday morning through their website. By noon, Domingo was already in my backyard taking notes and making sure what I wanted. No more than a couple hours later, the crew already arrived and started doing work! I was more than shocked how quickly they started and I knew I had made the right choice to trust. They got a good start the first day and came back Tuesday. By noon, everything was done -- it was barely over 24 hours from start to finish, everything looks great and professional. I swear what they did in that amount of time would have taken me well over a month and wouldn't look half as good as they did. After seeing reviews on Yelp we decided to give Julio's a try. As the rating indicates we didn't regret it. We called in mid-April to request an estimate. I'm positive Domingo would've come the very next day except it snowed (!). Then it snowed again.... (!) But by Saturday the snow had melted and sure enough he showed up that morning. We talked through the things we wanted to do. He listened well, had good questions, and provided ideas. A few moments after he left he sent an estimate, and it was reasonable. So we moved forward with the job. His crew was going to come about a week later, but guess what -- more crappy weather, this time relentless rain. This morning, after raining all the previous day and over night, Domingo and his crew pulled up in chilly drizzle and quickly got to work. We were honestly very surprised they would come out in such drenched and muddy conditions, but they said no more rain was coming and the soggy conditions meant nothing to them! The job was pretty big. We had lots of overgrown weeds and shrubs in the back, along with a lot of rampant ivy splayed around the patio. There were tall weeds going all the way down the fence line of our long backyard. There was also a pile of sticks and branches that had been piled up behind the garage. All of this was cleared out, and along part of the property line they planted four evergreen privacy plants. That alone was a lot of work. But they also put river rocks along both sides of the house, and in the empty bed all along the front they planted a number of shrubs and a couple small trees. They also put down mulch. Everything was done just as we had arranged with no goof ups. They started at around 8 am and pulled away at around 3 pm. The whole crew were hard workers, friendly, and cleaned up as well as could be expected given the very muddy conditions! My only feedback for Domingo would be to let folks know ahead of time before coming out, even if it's the night before. We were caught off guard a couple times because we weren't expecting them. But other than that minor quibble, everything was great! We would highly recommend Julio's. read more

Domingo and his team were great! He came out initially to discuss what we wanted to do and offered suggestions on some things that would help prevent water damage to the house in the future. I received a quote shortly after our meet. We scheduled a day and they came out and finished everything in one day, including re-sodding the entire front lawn, cleaning up the front landscaping, cleaning up a bunch of overgrown weeds, adding stones, and creating a nice mulch area around trees. It was raining off and on but they powered through most of it and I came home to a nice lawn and landscaping. We were pleased with their work and would use them again in the future. read more

Hired them initially to do cleanup and mulching, which went fairly well. I then hired them to do weekly maintenance on my lawn and flowerbeds. They repeatedly failed to show up. After texting multiple times, they cut the grass once, but neglected to do anything to the flowerbeds. The quality of Julio's Services has changed dramatically from last year to this year. He's lost men, cancelled at least 3 area addresses, plus has not stood behind the quotes he provided. Last year he pulled weeds in 2 yards for us. This year, on his own, he decided to spray for weeds instead of pulling weeds (his bid was for pulling weeds, spraying only the top area of paver brick patio). His spraying killed numerous plants including a beautiful wild orchid. When I asked him to "make this right," his exact response sent by text was... "Please go ahead and do what you have to do, we spread weed control one time." read more

We contacted Julio's Services about doing some landscaping repairs after we had a concrete driveway installed. The concrete contractor had left mounds of dirt and open trenches finishing his work. Great driveway, lousy clean up after themselves. With in the same day Domingo owner of Julio's Services was on site advising and estimating what was needed. As we discussed what we would like the job got larger & larger. Domingo & his team soon were on site repairing, replacing, up grading our property. We had requested a portion of our front lawn be replaced with sod as well as the sides of the new driveway. What Domingo's Team did was replace the complete front lawn & parkway with fresh sod, they also did extra work with more sod. Each day Domingo or his brother would check with us for approval & go ahead. When they started working on the small paver wall I wanted around the house Domingo even suggested they create a "small" patio of bricks to store our refuse & recycle containers on. After finishing the low paver wall Domingo suggested a very nice small stone that would match our home. The finishing touch was too bury all our gutter downspots underground to allow water flow away from the foundation. The final touch was to use the same small pavers to surround our mailbox & again fill in the open area around the box with more small stone, Through the entire project Domingo kept in touch daily what was happening that day. We could not be happier with our project, the cleanliness of both work & crew. We love the way it looks, too bad we had this project done so late in the outdoor year now that the work will be covered in snow. I can't say enough about Julio's services! Contacted them on Saturday, Domingo responded quickly and came over to evaluate the project. He promised the estimate on Sunday, we received it Saturday night. The amount of the estimate was very reasonable. On Monday morning his crew was here bright and early removing a row of small trees, bushes, buckthorn, roots, stumps and all. Over the course of that day and the next, they removed everything hauled off the remnants, laid rock around our new patios, graded the ground to the swale, laid fresh dirt, raked and laid new sod. My garden beds were in awful shape. After the hail storm in May of 2019, all the flowers and bushes were devastated. But other damages to my home had to be addressed. Siding windows and roof. My landscaping was at the bottom of my list. I tried but couldn't find anyone. And I finally said it'll have to wait till next year. I saw an add in the patch and called. Domingo came out the same day, and emailed an estimate, same day. And said he was starting next week. No hassle, none, it's done! The crew cleaned out the beds shaped the bushes, applied weed preventer, removed the border bricks, put down gravel under the bricks to prevent them from sinking, installed new mulch, dug out a dead bush. Aerated the lawn and applied fertilizer. Took down an old vegetable bed that had seen better days. All done! I can't believe it. Just beautiful, and now I can't wait for my bushes and perennials to leaf out and blossom. I look forward to putting in a few annuals that catch my eye.
