This place is just disgusting! I went there a few days ago with my family and the first thing I see as I pick up my plate is a bug! I am disgusted at that but my aunt convinced me to just stay and try their food, which is cold, not all the way cooked, and tasted horrible! I couldn't even a whole plate, it was that bad. My aunt then goes up for dessert and got a donut and apple pie, neither were cooked all the way. When we went up to pay, he kept swiping our card. Food is always garbage and service is the same. The best part is the way the staff will literally ask for a tip if they don't see you tipping them right away. For what little service we received, our "waitress" came over to my boyfriend and I and asked how everything was and then smiled all pretty for my boyfriend and practically begged him for a tip like a dog begging for a bone... it's not that weren't going to tip in the first place, but I worked as a waitress for two years and you just don't go begging someone for a tip like that. The only reason we didn't tip right away was because we were sitting at the table trying to have a conversation, but they were too worried about getting their money and getting us out. read more

I went there last month someone told me about this app recently so I went there last month someone told me about this app recently so this will be a regards to happen last month me and my girlfriend went to the restaurant I have been going there for years I've never had an issue or a problem with them until we went to dinner and they had clams that were overcooked rubbery and cold then I I found hair on my chicken skewers which he tried to say that it was part of the skewers which it was not he tried to say it was part of the bamboo skewers it was on the outside of the chicken and not part of the skewer butt this next part cuts the cake my girlfriend witnessed plus to another server watch me and our server a $20 bill then she proceeded to say what no tip so I handed her a 10 plus four singles because our bill came up to $22 well she went to the owner and said I never gave her a $20 bill well the other server overheard this and said no he did give a $20 bill plus a $10 Plus for singles long story short we waited 15 minutes they never gave me my change back as I'm leaving the owner said thank you bye bye with a cheesy smile on his face. read more

my family and i use to go to jumbo buffet in middletown ny all the time but no more, they have the nerve to charge $4.00 a plate for a 2yrold how rude is that . a 2yr old child doesnt eat that much you know that.so people with children i dont recomennend this place at all.the owner is rude and the staff isnt frendly at all you sould be ashamed of your self. read more

We were in Middletown saturday evening and decided to get something fast. It looked very nice from the outside. Upon entering the cashiers area was packed with old newspapers, old boxes and seemed like a storage area. We were seated by a very pleasant woman. After that it went down hill, I waited 10 minutes for a soup bowl and when they finally came out the cart went right by the soup area and all the way up front I asked the server where the soup bowls were because I had seen them come out. Instead of getting me one she kept pointing to the front area and said go ...go.. The food was not very good at all. The soup was good, the california rolls were good but that was it for the sushi assortment. Two dishes had 2 different names but looked and tasted exactly alike. Our check was brought to us and then I almost got an elbow in the eye while the waitress removed my plate. NEVER AGAIN. Not even if it was free. read more

I can not make this up. Came in with 3 people and 2 only ate, the 3rd wasn't hungry but when the check came they charged me for 3. Went to go tell the manager, he flipped and was convinced we all ate, he threatened to check the tapes...like that wouldn't show the third person NOT eating. Lol (he even re-asked the waitress to verify if the third person had eaten, and she said yea.) So we refused to pay for 3 and end up making a scene by having the cops come...just so the manager can tell the police that he has no video and is going based off his not so very smart waitress. Food is not nothing to write home about. The reason why I won't ever go back is my partner and 8 year old son went to eat there tonight. After I received the bill and paid for it, I noticed that I was charged 3 adult prices. When I went back to tell them they made a mistake and I had an 8 yr old child, a rude man walked my son to the wall and said he was not a child and over 4'9". ROACHES!!!!! Picked a plate up and a small lively roach was making his way around the bottom of the plate. I showed one of the staff and they didn't seem to care. It didn't help that she couldn't speak english and could only nod and smile. If that wasn't bad enough she was on her cell phone while cleaning the buffet counters with the same dirty rag while emptying sliced peaches from a can above the tray the food was going in. Not a care in the world about what or how she was handling food. The manager Steve didn't seem to care either because all he had was a non-sence accuse and still charged us for our food even after our legit concerns. Worse buffet of any kind we ever ate in. EVERYTHING was poor quality, poorly prepared and some quite dated. 3 people at table had noodles and were trying for the first time and all spit them out in unison and said it was bad. It smelled like dirty dish water. My Granddaughter felt ill from it and couldn't eat anything. Later she went to the desert section and got a couple things. We complained to the waiter who got an attitude, the hostess who said she wasn't involved and the guy at the register who wasn't interested. I couldn't understand what any of them were saying but their attitude got accross loud and clear. Because we were with the family we paid the bill and didn't make a scene but I was irate. This place should not be in business and I can't understand how it could pass any kind of inspection and how there could ever be a repeat customer. I would go here along with my wife and kids often, until the following happened: a staff member was constantly hovering over my family and I as we were eating and talking, for over 5 minutes. No exaggeration at all- count to 60 five times one one thousand two one thousand style five times- talking about my kids and how cute they are etc, then the staff member walks away. My wife and I wondered why all of a sudden the staff members were so talkative, as it wasn't that way before all those other times we ate there. Moments later she comes back with the check hovering over us again while my family and I were talking and remained there telling us to pay. At this time my wife and I were very upset, but we kept calm and said nothing to the staff member and simply replied with cash out of my pocket to pay for the food. The staff member then took the money and walked away. At this time my wife and I agreed to never come here again as this experience made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Moments later the staff member returns to us before we put our coats on to leave with our change, and demanded that we give her a tip. At a buffet I can hardly call them waiters or waitresses because we the customers do everything ourselves, but I do usually leave a tip on the table anyway... However tip demanding is just plain wrong, and with all the hovering and brown nosing so much that I can hardly get a word out and have a nice talk over a meal with my family made us all uncomfortable, and very upset. The food isn't even that great. Avoid this place, and spare yourself the agony of staff members breathing over your shoulder waiting for you to pay and then putting they're hands out begging for tips. It wasn't like this before all those other times we came to eat here- but I'm not giving them another chance. It's going to make more than Gordon Ramsay to save them. read more

myself my girlfriend and a friend just came from dinner,all good till a roach crawled across the wood ledge by our booth got manager steve he quickly put us at another table and blamed it on a shipment they had just gotten in from nyc and did not understand why the roach was out in the day time .....long story short never offered to give us a discount on our bill i clearly wish now that i had caused a big scene i give them a lot of business needless to say do not think ill be going back for a long long time, bring on golden coral!!!!!! read more
