Very delicious, warm and relatively cheap for a buffet. Staff was polite and efficient.

The price for this buffet was amazing! The food tasted so well cooked and it felt like a home meal back in my little farm in Texas. The service was very fast and the workers were amazing kind. The bathrooms were a bit stinky and one of the stalls and diarrhea in the toilet but it did not seem to affect my incredible experience here. Blah. That's the first word that comes to mind. While there's potential for a large selection the offerings are mundane. The sushi makes the most of imitation crabmeat and offers very few other choices. I think I saw two rolls where I saw other forms of fish. The hot foods had what appeared to be a large selection, but whatever I tried was either cold or over cooked from sitting in the steam tables too long. The food was bland and often hard to distinguish what the dish was, even with signs posted. Having been turned off by what I tried, I didn't attempt desert, which for me , is a rarity. read more

The manager is a personable guy. The wait staff is varied from strange to slightly friendly. The quality of the food has dropped off sharply over the years. The last time I ate there was two years ago. The first thing I was going to eat was Wonton Soup. As soon as I sat down at the table with my bowl, a one inch long ROACH came running across the table AT ME, not away... I stood up and said OMG a roach. Oddly people looked at me but continued with there meals...? The busgirl asked what was wrong? When I told her she immediately corrected me. That was a CRICKET!!! ROACHES!!!!!!!! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! Jumbo buffet isn't much of a standout eatery. Just a simple Chinese buffet with cheap prices I'd go to on my lunch break. However, that all changed after Monday 5/15/17 when I reached for a plate, A ROACH was under it!!!! This vile, disease carrying scavenger was crawling up and down the stacks of plates! Left with serious concerns about the safety of the food here. The ice cream corner speaks volumes. Mold and scum everywhere. Tons of yellowish scum in the bathroom sink too. This was the worst place I have ever eaten at. The board of health needs to inspect this restaurant. Went there with my husband and granddaughter tonight. Food was either cold or totally dried out. Complained to male waiter that I couldn't eat it because of this and was charged anyway. Owner said I didn't complain to him. I said I did tell waiter apparently he didn't understand and couldn't tell I didn't eat the food on my plate. Had to pay $28.00 for not eating. Date of visit: 03/22/2012. First, let me say I have written over 250 published restaurant reviews. This place has to rate in 250th place. The worst buffet I have ever been to. It has gone downhill faster than skier Pickaboo Street. The food was awful. The wonton soup broth tasted like tap water. The wontons were brown on the top. You needed a microscope to find any chicken in the Chicken with Broccoli.. I even waited until a new tray was brought out. The beef in the Mongolian Beef was like rubber with no taste. The lo mein was greasy. The string beens were shriveled up and overcooked. Despite being a Thursday night, the food trays were empty most of the time. (this could have been a good thing) There was a sign by the ice cream saying "It tastes better on a cone" but there were no cones available. There were people eating from their plates while still at the food area...very unhealthy and even one person that literally finished his plate BEFORE he got back to his table. The manager/hostess was verbally fighting with the chef the entire time we were there. She was also falling asleep standing up most of the night.. The ONLY bright spot was the friendly servers. This is not at all a bad place to go - for greasy chinese food. You have to know pretty much any place you go that's a buffet the quality of the food tends to go down at least one knotch, however at this buffet there are few standards you can always rely on, the fried chicken wings, the soups, the stir fried green beans and the bbq'd ribs they serve on Friday and Saturday. That said, yes some of the food gets to be overly greasy or soggy. Service can range from surly to very polite. It's a nice place to go when you're really in the mood for chinese, and don't want just one dish. read more

I picked up the food made it back home and while my 7 year old was eating he just started crying and began regurgitating his food. Before I could understand what was going on..I looked at the food to see a big bodied Roach laid out on my son's dish on the green beans and began to understand what was happening. After I calmed my son down from puking and washing his mouth out of all the food he brought back up. I took the food back to the restaurant in order to show the owner what I had found in the food (Roach) and I wasn't offered my money back at all. HE ACTUALLY offered to give me a store credit as well as no sincere apology. Noting to this store that if this happened to me the 1st time, I've eaten at this establishment..Sir!! You will never see me or my money here ever again...So your credit is useless to me. Lon gstory short. My son is feeling better, I lost out on some money and I've learned a hard lesson. I would give no stars if I could. My friends and I found bugs and flies in all of the desserts, including the ice cream. Half of the food items were cold and the other half tasted disgusting. So we went to the manager to explain that we were dissatisfied and he plainly told us that he didn't care and wasn't going to do anything. He also told us to not eat the food with bugs around it, as if it didn't matter and claimed that he didn't make the ice cream. The whole thing turned into a fight and he threatened to call the police on us. I have never had such a terrible experience. This man clearly does not care about anyone if he's willing to sell disgusting food daily without so much as an apology. The best item available was those little sugar doughnut things. But even grabbing one or two every plate couldn't distract me from the food just flat out not tasting good. I don't know how else to say it. Some examples for your reading pleasure: The chicken had a bizarre texture that made it more like calamari. But it tasted like neither chicken or calamari. The beef was overcooked to the point of being like leather. The green beans were actually decent, but I don't go to a Chinese Buffet for green beans. And the biggest disappointment had to be the vegetable fried rice and lomein, which tasted and smelled like feet. Bad feet. Unbathed feet that have been wearing dirty socks for three days straight. I feel really bad for all the reviews the other customers have given. The ice cream may be radioactive,for it bent a spoon somehow and they have absolutely the "best foods ever". The coke tastes like soy sauce and the sprite taste like salty sweat. Both are very unique flavors that I have never tried before. I only grew an extra arm after 2 days of eating from this buffet. Great spot to bring the kids! No waiting for your food, everyone can find something they like to eat and very reasonably priced--less than half the price of going to a diner. Good quality for a buffet; everything is always nice and hot. This place is always packed so I have to assume the food is always fresh as they go through so much of it. There are plenty of vegetable dishes and the shrimp dishes and chicken skewers are very good. On weekends they kick it up a notch with BBQ spareribs and plenty of seafood and shellfish. Definitely not the finest Chinese buffet in the world (I've hit a lot of them), but adequate if you want a large selection of all you can eat, decent, economical Chinese and American food. Their lunch price is at the low end of the spectrum ($6.75 -- and a senior discount on request), and they had a number of mid-range features: some beef dishes, a good variety of seafood, and real ice cream in tubs instead of just soft serve. Lunch featured Shrimp dishes but no piles of plain boiled shrimp, no crab legs, no duck, all of which is to be expected for the price. The cooking is hardly fine cuisine but I enjoyed it.
