Fried Shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken, Lo Mein, White Rice, Fries Wonton, Hot and Sour Soup, Crab Angels.

Ok! Now this is a small town Chinese restaurant that does a great job of delivering what you would expect from a small market environment. The huge plus comes from having a lunch buffet. Quick in and out if you need it. My faves: Hot and Sour Soup, Twice Cooked Pork, Lo Mein, Fried Shrimp, and Crab Angels. Not Faves: Fried Rice. It needs to be less "Fried". Great Staff and Very Clean!

Burnt fried rice

So my husband and I love this place, but today they let me down. I ordered beef fried rice and it tasted old and the onions and carrots where burnt along with my rice. I know these are hard times but come on stand by what you are selling. Everything is so black I can't force myself to eat this.

The Entire Menu

Love this place, great food with veggies always cooked al dente. Great variety in the menu and wonderful service. Couldn't be happier with this restaurant.

Menu give 4/6/2021

Menu given 4/6/2021 - Take-out only. No buffet. Hours are not consistent. You open the door and there is the counter, right there! Draped heavy duty plastic for distancing Covid measures. You either order, pay or call in, pick up, pay and when food is ready they will bring it to your car. The lady who brought my food out was masked and gloved. I called us in an order and took it home, of course. We hadn't eaten here for several years (5 or more). We didn't care for it then even though we tried it a handful of times. So I thought we ought to try it again since a few friends told us we ought to give it another try. We ordered an order of egg rolls, crab angels, (Dinner Combination Plate) Sesame Chicken and Low Mein. I had chicken added to the regular lo mein, I think it was an extra dollar. The combo came with rice, fried or white. I chose the fried rice. Also a large Egg Drop Soup. The dinner combo, and other items, was definitely enough for two people, but 3 of us ate off this with plenty to eat. There are good and not so good reviews, but not many. I was hoping to like or enjoy my meal. The egg rolls were all vegetable, but I did enjoy them. The Sesame Chicken was fair, but good. The Lo Mein, not so tasty. The crab angels, I'm sorry, absolutely too fishy tasting, not very pleasant. In an order of 12, none of us finished eating our fist one. The rice was good. As for the egg drop soup, we did not finish what we dished out for ourselves. We did NOT finish anything but the egg rolls. Like I said I was hoping for a good dinner. So sorry. Don't think I'll try it again.

Cool decor!

I got the curried chicken and it was good. While I wouldn't rave about its splendor, the entrée consisted of crisp, seemingly fresh vegetables and had a pleasant taste. I enjoyed the decor and the service was okay (although I would have assumed that we would be waited on a little more seeing as there were only three tables - but whatever). The "fried rice" is not your stereotypical fried rice. It didn't have anything in it (like the usual mixed vegetables and egg). I think it was just put in a frying pan and stirred around. It still tasted alright. The bathroom wasn't the epitome of cleanliness (a little pumice would go a long way). As far as I was able to observe, the food was prepared by actual Asians (I know that some people are particular about such things). I probably won't be going back any time soon, but if you like Asian food you can give it a try.

This is the best Chinese buffet in Safford. Yes there's a limited amount of options but they're all tasty.

Don't waste your time. Food is old and cold. An hour wait for a less than memorable meal.

Great food, we never show up starving. It takes a little longer than more restaurants but it's always worth the wait.

Maybe expecting much from a Chinese restaurant in Safford is unreasonable, but this place is simply disappointing.

My husband and I came here for the second time for a Valentine lunch together. The first time we…read morecame, we accidentally ate before we came and so we had so much food leftover (which is not a bad problem!). So this time, we split the zesty orange chicken and a Philly roll between us for the perfect amount of food for the both of us. The food was delicious too. The orange chicken had the very essential and yummy flavor of an orange! And anything that can get me to eat more veggies (such as this dish) is a win to me. If I had any complaints, I would've wanted more chicken in the dish, since it was made up of mostly noodles. The sushi was good! Maybe not "knock-your-socks-off" good, but we did just go with the basic Philly roll instead of something more exciting. Their menu had some really interesting sounding sushi rolls. I will say though, that the Philly roll was very pretty! Otherwise, our waitress was great and checked up on us. Our food was out pretty fast, and for Globe, I would definitely consider this more of an upscale/still casual place for a date. We'll be back to get more fancy Asian fusion food.

The reason I am giving this place 2 stars today instead of 1 is because our server Lauren saved me…read morefrom having an allergic reaction due to observed cross contamination in the kitchen and told us. We haven't been here in years due to the last time we visited we had a very negative experience. Today was a little better, but not by much. My 6yo and I ordered 3 rolls(california, rainbow and caterpillar) and an appetizer(coconut tempura shrimp). We received 2 rolls before our appetizer, which to me was weird. They all came with wasabi and ginger, and I asked our waitress Loren if I could have some ginger without wasabi as I am mildly allergic. She said no because they use the same hand to serve both so the wasabi is in the ginger. I thought 'that sucks, cross contamination'. When the final roll(caterpillar) came out it had 3 sauces on it; unagi sauce, spicy Mayo and Siracha. I asked her when she came by again if it was supposed to have the spicy ones, she said 'oh yes, the caterpillar comes with all 3'. I had ordered it for my 6yo to eat, the menu has none of the spicy sauces listed in the description, just the unagi sauce. So, buyer beware, not all sauces are listed on the menu and if you have an allergy you might want to eat elsewhere because if there is one cross contamination, there are bound to be others.

So I searched Yelp and I found this gem, Jun Dynasty. We traveled an hour and forty minutes from Maricopa to try this place. I could've traveled to other Chinese restaurants in half the time in and around Phoenix and Scottsdale, but something just intrigues me about Tucson. Jun is located in an older part of Tucson and its location can be misleading. But trust me, you want to try this place. We were immediately greeted and seated after we entered the establishment. We were handed menus and asked what we'd like to drink and I ordered Oolong tea and water. The menu included several authentic dishes not found at other Chinese restaurants. I kept it simple though and ordered Walnut Shrimp for my wife, Steamed Dumplings in Peppercorn sauce, Salt & Pepper Fried Fish, and Bok Choy. Steamed dumplings were the first dish brought out. I ordered this because my wife can't eat anything spicy. Well this had a kick to it even I wasn't expecting. It was numbing, literally! Some restaurants will even list this type of dish as cooked in numbing oil. Soon after swallowing the dumpling, a numbing sensation enveloped our tongues. Sorry honey; I thought I ordered a mild dish. I ended up eating all of them. It was hard tasting the other dishes because of the numbing effect. The walnut shrimp came out next and I have to say, they were probably the best I had; even better than Fat's in Sacramento who set the bar back in the day. My wife devoured them. Bok choy was brought out next and she also loved them. They were served with I think a garlic sauce and it was very tasty. The Salt & Pepper fried fish were delivered last and they were also good. However, my wife preferred the walnut shrimp. I did have better S & P fish elsewhere, but these were still good. I can't speak enough about the staff. They were the friendliest I ever experienced in a Chinese restaurant. Our server always checked on us to make sure everything was fine. They all even said good-bye when we left. Yeah, I picked a good one!
