They're pricing was the most competitive option I could find in the Austin area and they had a ton of options for inflatable games -- which is what I was looking for! Got the jousting arena for a Saturday event and they delivered it one day early and handled the entire setup process, I didn't need to do anything except open the door for them. They also picked it up after the event was done and took care of a scorpion in the yard -- I'd give them 5 stars just for this haha. Let me start by saying, if I could post less than one star I would. this company is putting the safety of humans in peril. The 'carnies' who show up to inflate our water slides smelled so bad of marijuana and we're sooooo inebriate, that we ended up whaling them set of the houses. They had slurred speech and were obviously messed up....and they were driving! If you value the safety of young kids And customer service, please please please stay away from this company. Jamie, who claims to be the manager, is rude and condescending. Also the fact that you cannot call them (512-294-2221). The VM is full 24/7 and they NEVER answer the phone. I'll start by saying I'm the last person to ever write a negative review for a company but my experience with jump around was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. I was planning our neighborhoods HOA 4th of July Block Party and I originally booked the rentals by email a month in advance where I listed all the details of the event and the items I'd like to rent. They sent me an invoice where the pick up time was at 4pm even though I clearly stated the event was till 9pm. I called and they said they can arrange a later pick up, they then sent me another invoice with the same pick up time but added the extra fee. I called back again because I wanted to have in writing before I signed a contract that they weren't going to pick it up at 4pm - which would be 2 hours into the party. Then the women said they weren't doing any rental pick ups on the 4th of July and that everything was going to be picked up the next day for ALL of their rentals so there was nothing to worry about. I stated it was at a park and she said the fee would cover any liability of leaving it there over night. I pushed a little more to have something in writing, but she kept insisting I had nothing to worry about and eventually I took her at her word and signed the contact so I didn't lose all the rentals 2 days before the event. The day of the event they showed up and started setting up. The guys setting up then asked me to call their manager who explained to me they forgot a part for the 20x20 pop up tent we rented and so they wouldn't be able to set it up and would refund the money. They also forgot literally all of the chairs we rented, and brought a cotton candy machine instead of a sno cone machine. We were hosting an event for 185 people in an unshaded park in the middle of July with no shade or chairs now with the party starting in 45 minutes. They insisted there was nothing they could do because they were too busy, even when my husband offered to drive to Florence to pick up any pop up tents or chairs they had. When we asked for more compensation for such big mistakes on such an expensive order they somehow got the pop up tent up without any problem? I was honestly just grateful we got it up even though I wasted a lot of time and it caused a lot of stress trying to figure out how to get any shade or chairs for the people attending. We cut our losses and moved on with the day and asked the neighborhood to bring their own chairs and pop ups to the event if they could. Then at 7pm lo and behold they show up to try to collect the rentals in the middle of the party. Once again causing us stress as we tried to navigate the mistake again with management. They did eventually agree to come back at 10pm to pick it up so I will give them that. But I truly was in awe of how many issues we had with this company throughout the entire process. read more

If I could give a zero I would. When we booked the u it they did tell us we would have more time with the inflatable due to holiday weekend with no extra charge. Which I was so thankful for. The day they said they would deliver I took off work to be here with no update that they were changing the date to the next day. Then I told them how I wanted it set up three different times and it was still set up wrong. No big deal I can move it I'm sure they were in a rush. They almost left until I reminded them there was supposed to be the pool attachment which never held air nor did it hold the water for a little pool ! We called numerous times and no answer or text back. Then were told we can call the manager! Umm he should be calling us. He called my husband and said he would stop by and look at it but never did or if he did never spoke to us. Then it was supposed to be picked up on Sunday. I figured they didn't because they knew we were upset! When we were gone at work the inflatable was picked up. The extension cord we put out for them to use was gone too. Every time we call it's I'm driving can u text me your name and info so I can look into it and never calls back. Absolutely no concern that we have spent our hard earned money to rent this to be disregarded when an issue arises to come home to have our own personal stuff taken too! I will never rent from this place again. It takes a lot for me to write reviews. Bc I feel like they are always bad. But I would rather write a good review than bad due to everyone's experience is different. But this is unacceptable, We were asked well what time did they pick it up. I rented an inflatable slide for about $620 for my daughter's party and confirmed twice by phone that it could be used dry. On the day of the event, the company delivered a different, 4th of july themed smaller slide worth about $180 less, saying the original wasn't safe to use without water. I was not informed of this change in advance. After the event, they refused to refund the price difference ($170) or water fee and would not speak with me by phone. Very disappointing experience. Do not recommend them at all. I had to dispute a portion of what I paid as this is very misleading and unfair. They had days to call me and communicate this beforehand and they confirmed twice on the phone I could use it dry. Do not recommend this company at all. read more

I was just hit by two young guys in their box truck. I'm pregnant, they totaled the back end of my truck, thankfully I was in my truck and not a small car. The two smelt like marijuana and they are driving on expired plates. The contacts were completely the opposite of empathetic. "I don't know what happened...my breaks locked up"... no. Last year I used this rental service for both of my kids parties in May and in June. I had no complaints and the service was great, But this weekend I emailed about an hour after the item was dropped off, and I was able to look and see that the item was not as described on the website. Someone got back to me hours later, saying that they would see what they could do to get me another item... which was what I requested either that or a partial refund. Surprise, surprise no one ever got back to me called texted or emailed. I feel like they sent the email just to shut me up, but had no intentions on trying to make it right. I was definitely treated as if I was a bother, or as if I was making stuff up to get money back- even though I have rented with them before and had no complaints or requests of any sort for changes. Anyway, the party happened on Saturday and the jumper kept collapsing on the kids. It was super unsafe and all of the kids started to feel like the equipment was dangerous and decided not to use it. so after spending just short of $400 on one rental item That was not as described. I got no help from anyone in their customer service department, and they clearly have no intentions on trying to make any of this right. I understand that small businesses need to make money and people probably try to pull fast all of the time, but since I have rented from them before I feel that I should have at least been given the benefit of the doubt. The item has three ports for three different air, inflation devices, but I was only given to which I believe is the reason why the jumper kept deflating on the kids while they were playing. I do not recommend them even though the first two times I had issues, because the one time I did have an issue I was with an email. They clearly had no intentions on trying to make things right. Only giving them 3 stars because their communication is so bad they don't respond to calls or texts. Game trailer didn't work for the entire two days of the event, leaked gas spilling fumes into the air, and overall cost me money on top of the rental. We had a wonderful experience with Jump Around Party Rentals. We had a last minute birthday party for my toddler son and we needed a company that had availability the very next day. William worked us into their already booked schedule and made it all happen! They came an hour and a half before the party started the next day and set everything up (including 50 feet of water hose to get the slide going) Then they come and take it all down...no work on your end whatsoever! There were several kids ranging in age from 2 years to 15 years old as well as adults. We rented the 15' red double waterslide and it was the MOST fun we had all Summer long. Customer and safety are last at this company. The driver arrived and set up our daughter's bounce house without regard for its appearance. I deflated the bounce house and aligned the frozen sign attached to the front. Two anchors were placed on two corners of the large bounce house. Winds are dangerous and known to carry bounce houses that are not correctly tethered to the ground. This is a very dangerous proactive. When I asked the driver about the stakes he said he placed two and did not plan on adding more. For the the safety of children this company should be avoided. We ordered 18 chairs and three tables. Our driver delivered 13. We realized the mistake a few hours before and five other chairs were delivered in time for the party. Again there is a lack of attention for detail by employees. Our rental was until 4 pm. Families and their children were enjoying the party when the delivery driver arrived and begin dismantling the bounce house before 4 pm. The driver failed to check if children were in the bounce house before deflating. I reflated the bounce house and checked if anyone or their items were left inside. The children's balls were still in the bounce house. I expressed my concern to the driver and he was dismissive. It was extremely embarrassing to have guests help remove decorations from the tables as they were taken before the rental time. Find yourself a better company. There are plenty of good ones that have respect, integrity, and care about their customers. read more

Once I ordered, I got quick and helpful information from the office and the veteran that showed up at the house to help me learn how to use the equipment was fantastic - patient, thorough and efficient. This was our 4th year renting from Jump Around or their other company name, Sandies Bounce Houses. We rented the same bounce house we rented previously. We also paid in full at the moment of reservation to make sure we would receive the bounce house rather than pay the remainder in cash. The day of the party, the house arrived 45 minutes before the start of the party but within the reservation time so we were not concerned. However, upon inflation of the house, a 2 foot long tear was discovered inside the house next to the stairs to the slide. The young men delivering the house felt like we could "make it work" but we were unwilling to risk it with four 3 year olds. They called management to figure out what to do and in the process learned that a voicemail had been left with the company that the house had a tear that made it unusable but they had forgotten to tell anyone. The delivery folks took the house away to replace it and arrived with a second house almost 45 minutes into the party begin time and after required delivery. Once inflated, we discovered the entire house was soaked so we spent another hour using every towel we had to dry it off while the delivery folks watched us. Through several attempts to make it right with the company, we were rebuffed. We filled out the survey they sent requesting a call back. No call. We also called and left a message, no call again. Finally, we began emailing with their management only to have that trail run cold. We are beyond disappointed that a company would treat us this way being 4 time repeat customers who came from a recommendation from another repeat customer. read more

We rented a slide for a birthday party. There was an issue with the way the slide had been tethered to the ground and when I called to explain it I was told by the owner that the crew who set it up would be right back over to fix the problem. The crew never showed up nor did we receive a phone call explaining why they were not able to come back to fix it. We had to fix it ourselves; otherwise it would have been unsafe for the children to slide. When I called the next day to talk with them about it and find out why they never came back to fix it, one of the owners kept talking over me. She said she would discuss some kind of discount/partial reimbursement with the other owner and get back to us but never did. It was a fun slide and the kids enjoyed it. Well my wife called and they were able to come out with an hour's notice and deliver the big kahuna. Which was amazing for the kids.. and of course the adults. Ordered a last minute bounce house and what we got was a mess. Their website states they are cleaned and disinfected for each rental but that was not the case with the bounce house. We appreciated that they accommodated us so last minute but not even a courtesy call or email letting us know it would not be cleaned. When I reached out to them they day of the delivery, they responded then next day and weren't the nicest. I also thought the delivery fee was ridiculous as they are an "Austin" Company wasn't sure why we were being charged such a high delivery fee when we are also in Austin then I noticed their invoice said they were in Florence.
