This review is long over-due (my apologies, guys!). I moved from Boston to Chicago three months ago when I found Constantine and Jump. I considered using a POD or renting a Penske truck and driving out myself, but eventually decided that these options were simply too worrisome (and not nearly as cost-effective as I would have hoped). I also checked out national moving companies, but found that their rates were very expensive for my small, 1-bedroom moving load. That's when I found Jump, thanks to a flyer left in my building. Constantine offered to meet with my on the weekend, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and said that he and Mirel would move my things themselves using a Penske truck, which would include only my things. I jumped (ha) at the chance to sign up with these guys. Unlike most national moving companies, Jump's rates were entirely reasonable, they could adhere to my specific pick-up and delivery timeline (down to the hour), they didn't put my things on a larger truck (shared with another move), AND they could store my things for a week. Fantastic. My furniture and personal items were wrapped up with great care (these guys know what they're doing), to the point at which my husband and I went for breakfast while the move was going on. My experience with Jump Moving and Storage was outstanding from call one. Everyone I worked with was courteous and professional. Our move came at a very busy time and Jump Movers proactively followed up to confirm scheduling for our move which was on a Sunday. The team of movers who helped move us from our 4 story town home were unbelievable. Moving is a stressful experience but they were true pros, wrapping and lugging all of our stuff in record time. They made sure to ask questions to ensure that they addressed everything correctly and also would bring us around to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. This is by far the best moving company I have ever hired. I have moved 4 times in the last 4 years here in Boston. I always used a different company because I was never satisfied. These guys are quick, efficient, and take care of your belongings. Customer service is also great, they worked around several obstacles with me including budgets and time constraints. We had Jump Movers when we are moving from our 3rd floor apartment in Lynn to our new home in Saugus. Constantin, Chris and Mirel are awesome! These guys were recommended by a friend, and I couldn't have been happier with them. I'd sort of let scheduling movers drop after requesting a quote from a few places and getting discouraged. These guys kindly followed up with me a week or two later, which prompted me to go with them, on top of having the best price of anyone I talked to. They are cautious about how to pack and careful not to break things. They are very personable and even helped with a bunch of the packing when we couldn't get everything into boxes prior to the move. There were four employees that worked fast but made sure to wrap all furniture in blankets or construction paper. The movers were friendly and were open to some demands I made.
