We went twice: for a birthday party over the weekend and then with an out of town friend, during the week. They had a ton of inflatables and trampolines for my kids, ages 2 and 6. There are a lot of benches for parents to sit and a big area for parties. The birthday chair was a hit for the birthday girl. There's a ton of trampolines to jump on. My kids enjoyed jumping on all the different character inflatables as well. I went again with my 2 year old during a school day and they had a toddler/parent special for $15 from open until 2:30 during school days but does not include school holidays. It's a fun place for kids between 4-7 years olds. The place has a bunch of different inflatables and my kids loved them all. I would not recommend this for toddlers as the slides get steep and older kids play rough. Knock out two star because the place is not very clean. Not everyone takes their shoes off in the carpeted area and you would see people spilled food on the carpet and no staff available to clean it up. By the time we left, my bottom of my kids socks were black. Hope they hire a staff to do clean up every couple of hours. If you are looking for a clean place to play, this is definitely not it. We will not return after we used up our groupon deal. There are other places out there just like this, but much cleaner and cost the same. read more

This place had its downfall. The pictures you see on the website are all from the old location, which while were at it, was honestly a pretty good trampoline park. Now, the location is combined with... another trampoline park? They also have a few arcade machines around the place. The first issue are the inflatables. I remember before, they were actually pretty solid. Now, they just slap down a few trashy ones and call it a day. Most of them are all taped up and have small openings on some parts. The foam pit is a disaster. They have this area where you can jump into it on a rope, but some people send their small children, and it takes ages for them to get out. Inside the foam pit is NASTY, there are all ripped up foam blocks, and deeper into the foam pit, nearly touching the floor, theres all sorts of dust particles, and the ripped parts of the foam blocks. Also, there are some old grip socks just laying in the foam pit as well, which honestly scares me. The cleanliness of the place is also an issue. The floor is filthy with MORE foam block particles and dust. Also, some parents walk around in the carpeted area with their shoes on, when kids also walk around with their grip socks on. The general trampoline area is fine. The only issue are these big triangle blocks just sitting there for some reason. It isn't detrimental, but slightly annoying when you're hopping from trampoline to trampoline, with some having them on it. The exterior of the building is also a pretty big issue. If I was someone wanting to come here for the first time, I would be completely lost. There are no signs or logos ANYWHERE, the only thing is a small design above the door that says "Sky High Sports." In a generic-looking plaza with 5 other buildings, it wouldn't be too helpful though. The only thing stopping me from giving this place 1 star is the dodgeball area. It is decently sized, and the dodgeballs aren't ripped up or anything, they actually look pretty good. It's definitely the best place to go if you're there with a couple of friends. Save yourself the money though, only come here if someone else is willing to pay or if you are attending a party. Otherwise, there are WAY better trampoline parks around that give you better value for your dollar. read more

This place is disgusting. We were one of the first people there when they opened so I expected it to be clean and ready for a full day of business. It was clear they have not cleaned in quite some time, which concerns me with how unsanitary the bounce houses are. I asked a manager if they had anyone that could clean and he did have someone go around and "spot check" with a mini vacuum. The women's bathroom had not been mopped and the garbage was over flowing. On top of my concerns with the cleanliness, we had to leave early because it was so hot in there (probably around 80+ degrees.) all of the kids were sweaty and had red faces. The manager put out two fans but didn't help. The air is stale and gross. I shared my concerns with both managers and they said they have a staff shortage and the HVAC guy is coming next week. I will not be back and advise others to avoid until the business can meet basic standards. Kids had to bathe when we got home. read more

I recently embarked on a trip with a summer camp to the "Jump!Zone" location in Niles Illinois. As a counselor of the program I was quite unsatisfied with the services provided by the establishment. First and foremost when we first entered through the front doors the air felt "stale" and we were accompanied by an unpleasant aroma that one could only describe as an old greasy pizza box. When we left the main lobby in to the play area the air felt even more "stale". I was staying optimistic since I have never been here before. When we started jumping we realized there was no air conditioning and it got hot really quick. Everyone there was sweating buckets and drenched in sweat. In addition the place is understaffed. Throughout our visit I saw the total of 3 employees. 1 running the front desk 1 and concessions and 1 on the floor. I would not reccomend this place at all. We've been to JumpZone for the last two years for birthday parties, every time we went it was always so much fun so we decided to have our sons party there, and boy was that a huge mistake! 1. When calling to book, they don't tell you you now share the party area with three other parties. The other parties we've been to had the whole section to themselves, I asked the parents if they booked it that way and they said no that's just how it was. Seems like Jumpzone cheaped out and now crams parties together. With only four tables! Awful, awful, awful. 2. The PA was broken, so there was no way to let our guests know when the pizza or cake was ready. We had to wrangle everyone up ourselves and we missed people to their kids didn't get to eat pizza. 3. Speaking of pizza, they only give you four for the package of 25 kids. They are TINY pizzas, and they don't even tell you that isn't enough. Order more! 4. Teenagers run that place. Like they say, no one wants to work anymore so teens run that place and it shows. 5. They never ever tell you there is an actual party room while booking! I only know because I went to get a drink from the snack cafe and saw the room! WTF!! I definitely would have rather booked that private room then that sh*t show they call a party area. 6. Because the parties are all together you have kids from different parties touching your decorations and ish. Super annoying. 7. They do not rope off the areas behind the bouncy houses correctly. It's like a velvet rope and that's it, I saw so many kids behind the bouncy houses with the wires. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. 8. They don't have enough water at the tables. 9. When we got the bill they overcharged us! We also had put a deposit and another payment towards the party prior and that didn't show up on the bill either. We even asked the first manager who took our payment like hey this is going to show up on the bill day of right? And she joked, no we are just going to take your money and run. We have been to way too many birthday parties here. This place is dirty, unsafe, and a nightmare for a parent...you're either wandering around watching your kid for safety reasons and to make sure a stranger doesn't take them or you're tending to a hurt kid. It's also a process to sign the waiver forms for birthday parties even if you sign in advance because half the time no one is there to check in guests versus birthday guests. No one is watching anything. Also, my kids catch something every time they go here, so hard pass on this place and please parents, stop having birthday parties here. We had a party. And they made my life easy. There were about 18 excited 4 and 5 year olds and they ran, bounced, maybe some screamed (with joy of course) but in the end there were happy (and tired) kids, content parents, leftover pizzas packed up for us, all gifts set to go and assistance offered for loading the car. We arrived early because the hubs did not pay enough attention when I told him start time. But the let my birthday girl go and start bouncing 45 min early and me to get all of the items I had brought in and refrigerated things that needed it. There were plenty of carts for load in and they offered to help me but I needed to get some of my energy out too. There was bin for kids to put gifts and coats and a cart for shoes. All of these items "magically" appear in your party room at the end with the boats hung up and shoes lines along the wall. My party manager told my goodie bags and pumpkins (see pics) and set them all up for me. He even took the homemade cupcake toppers and added them to all the cupcakes and plattered then (they supplied a platter as I forgot one). He also set out the juices and mummy applesauces I had (again see pics) and set up water and some other things I had brought for people. I really didn't have to do anything, but I am not used to that..., I kept popping in the room to check on things and it was always great. I should have spent more time with the parents laughing as the kids wore themselves out. The pizza they supply was great and many parents complimented it. Thank you again for making it easy on me and making a little bounce house freak have a great 5th birthday. I wish I got more pics of kids bouncing but they were all to fast and everywhere! read more

My daughter enjoyed her birthday here so much last year we did a second party. This time was an even better experience than the last. Our party coordinator was so helpful and I trusted her completely to take over and make everything run smooth. I honestly am a control freak so party coordinators annoy me. While I did question my coordinator a few times she always made sense of why she was doing what she was doing. Next party I will request a room with her and let her do her job without me questioning. She was so on top of it all. Thank you for making Ileana's last two parties amazing we are very happy with our experience. I will update this review once I get my coordinators name. My daughter just attended a birthday here. She seemed to have a good time. But I wanted to leave a review for two of the staff members, Ben and Fasaha. While my daughter was inside playing, I was in my car reading, oblivious to the fact that my headlights were on. After I picked her up from the party, I realized I couldn't get the car to start, ugh. I caught Ben while he was helping someone out to the car and told him the situation. He brought his car around to the front, and he and Fasaha helped me jump my car. They were super patient, helpful, understanding, and kind. I'm so grateful and appreciative of their willingness to help me. I went here high on PCP, wait, no. I went for my cousins 5th bday party. These cats are so obviously feeling supreme hatred for their jobs, they try to do as little work as possible. I would do the same, but man, someone should come in here and give these young kids a pep talk. Um, no sound proof, closed off parent area with seating? Oh, but you have 2 couches and a TV mounted to the pillar with subtitles on? Great. I cracked a joke on the way in and the young kids loosened up a bit, they should be loose its a play area. I get it, it sucks, your out in hinsdale or wherever the hell this place is and your working on a Saturday and there are tons of annoying loud screaming kids everywhere, but lighten up at least your not working clean-up at the jackshack. Love the signs that say "DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT SUPERVISOR CONSENT" and there is no supervisor but like 40 kids twirling and jumping. I was like, Huh? and the skinny Justin Beiber dude just shot me a side long mean mug...yeah. This location leaves a lot to be desired and sent me home with bed bug bites all over my arms. This is a very small location with about 15 different bouncy houses inside. The bouncy houses in my opinion are only good for ages 2-7 due to size and wow factor. However, Jump Zone allows kids up to age 12 jump around in them too. Also parents/guardians can accompany their children inside, mostly for the protection of the dozens of little one-year-old babies. To be honest, they really aren't big enough; it just looks weird seeing a 12 -year-old bouncing around in the bouncy houses because they are so small and it's mostly babies playing on them. The overall spot for this location sucks! From the main road there are no signs indicating where to turn in to get to the exact Jump Zone building. The building is located between factories all the way in the back of some building with the sign "Energy" on it. Even when you pull up to the place, the only sign is a sign in the window of the place that says Jump Zone, but it's kind of obscured by bushes. Lastly and most frustratingly, I was there for two hours, just two hours. And I sat in the only available chair at the time (this place has little to no seating, so expect to be standing for almost the entire time) for about an hour on and off and when I got up for the final time I notice nine bed bug bites on my arm. That was it for me. I grabbed my niece and nephews and we bounced our asses out of there. We really should have just went to extreme trampolines. read more

I came here with my 6 year old son for a friend's birthday party. This place is a little hard to find, since it's nestled in the fading industrial corridor along Howard Ave. in Niles. It's actually about a block north of Howard along the back road of one industrial park. Like Pump It Up or other fun gyms, this place uses what was a former factory and converts it into a giant play area. Another parent summed it up for me - the formula for success is to take a big factory floor, fill it up with slides and inflatable jumpy things and charge people money to visit. And y'know? It works! This place has a bigger floor than Pump It Up in nearby Gleview since it's all contained in one room, rather than divided. It's also more comfortable. While the kids are running themselves ragged and wearing themselves out, the parents are relaxing on black leather sofas in a lounge area in the middle of the floor, where a giant screen TV plays endless infomercials. There are party rooms along the walls. I think the place can host about 4 parties at a time. But while it's fun, it's also a pretty expensive place to have a party if you compare it to some of the other places my son's classmates had parties. My overall impression is that the place is very clean and safe, though more worrisome parents keep wondering where their kid has vanished off to. It could be any one of the inflatable monstrosities: a pirate ship, a giant alligator, a towering gumball machine, or a castle with tusk-like projections coming out of it. In all, it's a good way to tire out your kids. Jump Zone is open for drop-in playtimes on certain days, so it's not just for parties. read more

We've been in for open jump a few times now and my kids LOVE this place. There's something for all kids. For the toddler set, there's a small toy area. For the preschoolers, there's some smaller bouncy houses. For the bigger kids, there's HUGE bouncy houses (my 2.5 year old is terrified of the crocodile one). It's actually a petty big place and while I'm sure it can get crowded, I've never seen it get bad at all. The staff is always super friendly and nice. read more

This place at least has seating for the parents and more things to jump on. And I think it's newer. Jump!Zone has open jump times during the week for $8 per kid and adults can sit on the leather couches and read while they have their fun. I think it is $10 on the weekends. Sign up on line and you will receive a BOGO coupon. It's a little hidden away in a big white warehouse location with poor signage on Howard Street, just North of Touhy. Just hosted my daughter's third birthday here. I was mortified by how horribly mislead I was from the "party room" to the amount of food to order. I'll start by saying our "party room" which isn't a private room or area at all... don't be mislead it's basically long tables and benches in an open area shared with other parties was not ready for our party. We were told to arrive 15 minutes before the party to set up, which would have placed us at 3:45. The party that was there was told the area was theirs until 4 which is when our party started. The other group refused to leave until their time slot was up.. which I don't blame them I would want my full time too but then cut in to our party. I had my guests arriving with nowhere to let them put their belongings and me standing there like an idiot with the cake in the box and a cart of party decor. When I notified staff they said there's nothing they can do because the other party was refusing to leave and then they still had to clean the area. I had people from my guest list helping to clean after the other party. I was extremely embarrassed and unprofessional doesn't even begin to explain this. You need to leave enough time before and after parties so this doesn't happen. Some of the inflatables here are just hanging on for dear life. You sink in them when you're trying to make sure your little one doesn't get trampled. When I called ahead to order food I told them exactly how many adults and children I had and made it very clear it was important for me to make sure everyone had plenty to eat. I was told their pizzas feed 5 adults. That's a JOKE. One pizza can feed 3 adults max. In my culture it's super important to have enough food for everyone and I ordered an extra pizza to make sure there was enough by how much they told me a pizza fed. Most of the adults at my party realized how little there was and didn't eat as a result. The pizza came out warm not hot. Just one more insult to injury. I was also told that we would have a party host there to help for the duration of the party. Whenever I needed her she was no where to be found. Then at the end I was asked how much I wanted to tip. Hah. I would have been happy to tip if I didn't have to clean up another kids party and then suffer through the embarrassment of my own. This birthday party wasn't cheap and I truly regret not taking my business elsewhere. When I notified the manager on shift of all of these issues I was told they could only give "a very small discount" for all the inconveniences. Her words "a very small discount" just blow my mind. If you want your kids party to be special like I did, head my warning and go somewhere else! These people are wayyy to unorganized to know how to coordinate a simple child's party. read more

Jumpzone is a life saver on a rainy or snowy day! As many other reviewers have mentioned, it is a large warehouse filled with wonderful bouncy contraptions. They currently have 12 or so giant inflatables which will wear your kids out. The bounce castles are in pretty decent shape and there is something for every age group. Supervision is pretty minimal for open gym, but they are very hands on during parties. My only gripe is the place is a little rough around the edges. Empty vending machines, water fountain taped together and very worn out bathrooms are some of the lesser serviced areas. Surprisingly, the place doesn't smell bad in the middle of the summer while filled with dozens of sweaty kids. The concept is great, so as long as our kids are into it this will be a go-to place for us. read more

Purchased a punch pass from Groupon & saved myself half off 3 visits with the kids. I appreciate the fact that adults don't pay. Check in was easy, staff is pretty friendly too. There were lots of staff in the play area. I seen 4 or more staff members at a time supervising the play area. I appreciate the fact that they have comfy couches for adults to plop their butts on to watch the flatscreen TV while the kids played till they were exhausted. I've been using the JumpZone as an occasional weekend activity for our 2 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it! She is able to navigate just about all the 'bouncy houses' herself (and she is small for her age) and those that she isn't I am to go with her to help her up the steeper walkways/ladders. The bouncies all appear clean and very well maintained and the men's room has a changing table which being a dad who isn't above changing diapers, is always appreciated. One slight negative that I can't blame on the Jumpzone directly is that a number of the parents who choose to attend on weekends with their children aged anywhere from 6 to 10 choose to not really supervise them that well and I therefore have to keep an extra eye out to make sure my toddler doesn't get run over. The only negative I can say about the facility is that the snack bar doesn't have that wide of a selection and that the drink selection doesn't really accommodate smaller children as in they don't have juice boxes or any drinks with straws. I am now able to get around this by bringing a water bottle or sippy cup for my child but it would be nice if they had drinks of this type. All in all she always has a great time at the location and will be back until she is too old to find it enjoyable. read more
