4 stars for the Open Play! We did not have or go to a birthday party here so this review is for their open play only. We (myself, my 4 year old son and my friend and her 4 year old daughter) came on a Wednesday and stayed for the full 2 hours. Definitely a great place to let your kids run free, jump and slide to get that extra energy out in the winter months! My son keeps asking if we can go back and we definitely will. For $9 you really can't beat this place. However, it is just a warehouse filled with inflatables. Nothing special. Just good, clean fun for kids! I did look at the birthday party packages and the prices seem outrageous to me, so I'm not sure if we'll ever host one here. Parking and finding the place can also be tricky. We passed the place because I was expecting to see a huge, colorful sign but it is in an area with other offices/businesses so you really have to look closely. A great place for 3-7 year olds! Can't say enough good things about this place. My 5yo and my almost 2yo old had a blast! There are tons of inflatables for them to spend their energy on, and they never stopped running around and finding the next thing to catch their eye. They have huge slides for the older kids, a basketball court bouncy castle with blow up balls that my son absolutely loved (when the bigger kids weren't in there), a mini maze inflatable, and a couple large, open area ones for the little ones, so I didn't have to worry about the older kids stampeding on the babies. There is a small area for infants to play, next to the sofa seating area for adults, that is filled with toys, Legos, blocks and educational toys. It's partially tucked away so that it's out of the path of running kids. Very convenient and useful. Also, there are a few party rooms neatly placed alongside a hallway behind the actual play room. I imagine it would be an awesome idea having a birthday party here with all of their little friends. It's a fun place to waste your time at. And the prices are very reasonable for the open hours they offer. read more

I read some recent reviews and I thought I would hate this place. I was pleasantly surprised! For $8 on a dreary/icy rainy day my son got to run and jump to his heart's content. He had a blast and it ensured him eating all of his dinner and no pushback at bedtime. (Win!) There are about 12 large inflatables available in different themes--Superfriends, a Pirate Ship, a Fire Engine...and one that was like a basketball court with hoops, but in inflatable form. They all seemed to be well-inflated and looked clean from the outside. And for 4pm midweek it was relatively calm--I'm sure weekends or party days are crazy busy. There isn't much seating for parents/caregivers. But the seating my cousin and I snagged was some nice comfy leather-seating. Cushy and comfortable, there was also a TV that was tuned into TNT (no volume) if you didn't bring a book or tablet/smart phone to occupy your time as you glanced up occasionally to find out where your kid was. Your kid will most likely be mixing with a bunch of kids of different ages so accidents might ensue (I almost saw a head to head collision) or a younger kid might need some help getting up and over an obstacle in the inflatable--that's when I saw parents getting in and helping (I'm glad I'm out of that stage haha!). I saw one staff person making the rounds regularly and there is one behind the front desk. But no security. A place with that many kids...that's all I want to say about that. The place also could use some airing out...kind of stuffy in there. The other negative is all the old helium balloons hanging from the ceiling...it looks so crappy hanging up there, let's not make a place with sweaty kids in stockinged feet look/feel even more gross, huh? read more

It's hot, sweaty and smelly, but it's small enough to keep an eye on your kids from the middle (which has comfy leather seats and the bulls game playing) and big enough to keep your kids busy for about 3-4 hours. And I liked that they had a limit of kids from 2-7 years old. But if you're a sensitive parent beware, these kids are jumping around and not caring much of who gets in their way. Worth the $11 a child. And they don't charge for adults like other locations. read more

I've had parties for my kids at a lot of different places, but this one, by far, has THE BEST customer service! Our dedicated party person, Mazie, was FANTASTIC! I walked into the room the food was in, after about 40 minutes in the play area, and was surprised to see that the chips I brought was already in all the bowls I brought for them. Plates were set on the table for the kids too, coats were hung up on the hooks. Crazy! Here I thought all our stuff would be in there but not organized, and they took care of everything! We've been here for parties, been here to play, but never hosted anything until this weekend and it was a really great experience for our family. The bouncies are great! Littler children are a little intimidated by the slides and the maze, but if there are other kids along that are older and can help out, it's well worth the visit! Even on winter break when I took the kids here for some funtime it was a great way to spend an afternoon! Only drawback is that the place gets REALLY CROWDED during the open play times. If you're looking for a place to have your kids party, this is a great location with great staff who make sure you have very little to do other than watch your kids and socialize with the other parents in the play area! This place is mediocre if anything at all. They really didn't appeal to me as Monkey Island (in Melrose Park) did. This place is cramped up and stinky from the lack of ventilation and the A/C (review is from July 2012 visit) is barely on at all. It's just ok... They have no "real" sitting area for parents except for an awkward couch/sofa with a Flat-Screen that no one could possibly hear. We love this place! It's perfect for draining the energy of a three year old. Nice, clean and we'll kept. Only thing lacking is a bit more atmosphere for the adults.... feel like they'd make a lot more $ offering lunch or having some kind of secondary activity... We'd probably stay longer too. Wish it was open to walk - in jumping for more hours.... I guess parties are big here... I can see why. Definitely bring you cranky toddlers and kids. I'm in the process of planning my son's next birthday. Jumpzone is out! After being a repeat customer there for years, they never did anything for me after my review. I haven't been back since the birthday they screwed up. Since I organize the parent get-togethers, we've been going to Sky High and Play and Spin instead. Whatever money they saved by ripping me off on cold pizza and not refunding it (40$???), they've lost many hundreds of dollars they would have gotten on admissions from six families every other week. Not bright and very short-sighted. Considering the condition of the inflatables the last time I was there, I don't miss it and my son hasn't really asked to go back either. Is it creepy to write a review of a place that is mainly for kids when you don't have a kid? I'd say yes, but guess what, I wish they had this place when I was a kid so I'm writing one anyways. We went here for a birthday party for a friend's daughter and this place looks amazing. When I was a kid all we had to jump on was the bed in my parents room and that quickly turned disastrous when one of us hit our head on the ceiling fan which resulted in another amazing experience, the back of an ambulance... Ok, that story was a lie, but we definitely didn't have a giant bouncy alligator/crocodile to jump around in when I was a kid. It seemed like all of the little kids were having a blast running around from bouncy animal to bouncy firetruck to bouncy castle to bouncy whatever. Even some of our smaller friends were able to go in there and hang out with the little kids without getting in the way (don't worry, they weren't barreling over anyone). I on the other hand did not want to bounce around because I would have gotten too carried away and probably sent one of those kids on a real ambulance ride, which would have probably then resulted in me getting a not-so-fun ride in the back of a police car. The place is huge and it didn't seem like any one bouncy apparatus was overcrowded with children and I never saw anyone get hurt. There are also some party rooms off the side with a couple tables that you can, well, host parties in. They were a little small, but maybe we just had a larger group, who knows. Overall this is a great place to take a super energetic kid that won't sleep. A couple hours running around this place and you'll be lucky if they stay awake for the car ride home. read more

Horrible choice for Jump Zone to combine with Sky High!!! Whatever the claim is that either they combine or close due to COVID they should have closed but people are greedy!! I had zero knowledge (probably my fault for not reading every SINGLE sign posted) that they had NO STAFF on the floor. We intended to come for inflatables but of course when it's now combined the kids see the trampolines and want to do it, fine we paid extra for some special that was a waste. The trampoline spaces are NOT MONITORED by ANY STAFF!! So unless you walk every bit of the floor you wouldn't know. And of your 6-9 year old does not read the signs THEY are responsible for making judgement decisions on when to jump off a swinging rope!!! AGAIN we came for inflatables so no I was not aware of lack of staff; not due to COVID or staffing issues just that's how it is; thus a waste of $ in my opinion. No I'm not lazy & yes I want h my kids BUT again how does any establishment have such arenas and ZERO floor staff; I'll tell you who- greedy business owners! I'll never come here again. Not to mention my shoe literally stuck to the cage floor yet they had 2 staff managing that area. Not to mention there was hardly anyone there so I cannot imagine the chaos when it is busy and kids are not in school! In addition to and this is nothing new TEACH THESE KIDS WORKING BEHIND A COUNTER TO SPEAK UP!!!! Good lord between Great America, this place and so many others these young adults/16-18 year olds don't know how to communicate with anyone!!! It gets a four because it has 12 bouncers, if you go during the week in the mornings it's great, not too crowded. I always try to avoid weekends because I'm sure it's a madhouse! I've been coming here with my son for 3 years, I'm not going to lie, the bouncers haven't changed at all (except double rush got a little smaller). They could use some cleaning and vacuuming on them, but not bad. Get the 6 jump pass to save yourself some money, and please make sure your kids wear socks....if they don't that's pretty gross!!!! read more

This is next to our Lil Kickers soccer class and after attending a birthday party there, I must say that this is HUGE compared to Pump it Up. My son convinced me to go up one of the inflatable playground like things and go down the slide. I'm not a fan of roller coasters and I think that my heart nearly burst. Otherwise, the kids had a blast running around and bouncing around. The setup is great for birthday parties and they somehow make organization out of chaos for the birthday parties. Customer service seemed to be really friendly and it was nice that they had carts for the coats and shoes that ended up being hung up in the party room. Great setup, too. read more

Not great for my 17 month old. He went into the least crowded and simplest inflatable. It was basically a big rectangle. He got frustrated trying to walk towards me because it kept bouncing as the other kids kept jumping. Hes a good walker but learned a month ago and has not experienced walking in such obstacles. I was outside looking in on him and he tried to walk towards me but just sat down and started whimpering. So I took him out. Maybe when he's older he will love it since he like other kids love to bounce up and down. Food was good though. Staff was not that friendly in our private party room nor the people supervising the inflatables. Easy to get trampled in in these type of playplaces even though it's quite spacious. There's a small toddler area with toys. They did not check if my son was old enough to go into the inflatables. He did like just pointing and staring at the big batman. read more

We recently took our kids ages 3-9 here and they had a blast! We spent a good 5 hours there and the kids were still sad to leave. There are definitely enough bouncy houses and a good variety to keep the kids happy. We would definitely come back! read more

They need to update the equipments inside. They are worn, dirty, some are torn, beat up,very old and the steps to the big fire house has been missing for weeks and young kids can't climb up to slide down. You are not really getting most of what you pay for if they are torn, missing. The bathroom rarely has paper towels to dry hands. Will be driving few miles more for cleaner indoor play ! read more

We held my daughter's 4th birthday party here - I highly recommend for parties! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, those I talked to on the phone as well as those I dealt with the day of. The package pricing was reasonable especially compared to similar venues, and they made everything very simple and easy. The staff took care of all setup/cleanup/lunch prep in our party room and even helped setup the decorations that we brought. They had a bin for all of the coats/gifts, it was a very smooth and well organized setup which is essential when the parties are short and back-to-back. The kids had a great time in the inflatables, the space is large but they announce over the PA system when lunch is ready for your group. My only critique is that the estimate they gave me for the number of pizzas to order was too low, I added an extra and we still had just enough (and had to hear "I told you so" from my husband, arg!). My 2 year old loves it! I prefer to go on/in with her because the bigger kids don't always look out for the littles (I don't expect them to). Being a grandmother with small children means you sometimes get to spend the entire weekend with them. It also means, I get the opportunity to spoil my grandkids by taking them to fun places like Jump!Zone. For a young child, seeing all the giant inflatables means that you can jump and climb and bounce all over the place. There were parents chasing their kids all over the place when I went and I found myself smiling at the chaos. Of course that all changed when I had to start chasing down my own grandkids. I spent almost two hours before the kids started asking for food. Unfortunately, the Jump!Zone doesn't sell food or drinks and they don't allow you to bring any in so we had to leave. So, for a few hours, it is a lot of fun and a great place for children to exercise and run around while you keep watch over them. read more

THANKS STAFF FOR MAKING MY SON CRY AND COMPLAIN ON HIS BIRTHDAY THAT HE HATES THIS PLACE AND HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY. I had been here multiple times and this was a favorite place for my son until I booked my son's fifth birthday party here. The coordinator (Neha I guess) was nowhere near to being courteous. Even the manager was of no help when I complained. I was not told that the party hall would be only for 45 minutes when I booked the party and was very clear that all kids are from age group 1-5 years. It was impossible to complete the party and could clearly see the rush in winding up things. THE WORST PART WAS KIDS WERE NEITHER ALLOWED TO FINISH THEIR MEALS NOR EVEN ENJOY THE FUN OF CAKE CUTTING. It's clear that staff at this location is busy making money by taking back-to-back parties and not really caring for people. I think it's high time they should stop calling themselves as number one party place. I will never book a party here again even in my wildest dreams. read more

Words cannot describe how much I dislike this place. It is dirty, hot, and smells Iike a locker room. There are only a few seats for parents and they are all gathered in one spot. Employees never walk around the inflatables to keep kids from acting like jerks. Even on a busy Saturday there are only 3 employees here. There is absolutely no security to keep someone from walking out with a kid that isn't theirs. No one that works here can even get up on a ladder and clean up the hundreds of old balloons wrapped around the rafters. I am giving it two stars instead of one because my kids had a lot of fun. I just hope the inflatables have been cleaned and my kids don't end up with some kind of rash. read more

This place is both great... and a disaster at the same time. I brought my 2 year old here for the open play time from 1:30 - 3:30 on Veteran's Day. I heard about this place through Groupon and thought it would be a great place for her to burn some energy as the days get cooler. Upon entering, checkin was a quick and easy process. However, my first concern was the lady working the checkin desk was the ONLY employee I saw in the entire warehouse. Kids were running everywhere, climbing in and out of the "jumpies" like wild animals. I was cringing watching my two year old try to get in the Dora jumper as troops of eight year old boys dangerously did high flying wrestling moves on each other knocking down all others in their paths. Where were the parents? Where were the staff? Where were posted rules about "appropriate play"? Nowhere was the answer. Everything was a free for all. This might be great if you are an eight year old kid with a lot of energy to go free, hog wild... but not so great if you are 2-4 years old and trying to jump around and make your way to a slide. On a positive note, there are a lot of fun jumpers and the price is reasonable for kids to be able to run around and have a good time. I don't know why they don't have at least one jumper designated for 2-4 year olds for say... twenty minutes... and then rotate it so that kids could still get a chance to experience all the jumpers. This would allow the younger children a safe place to have fun and allow the older kids to play without having to wait... or jump over the small ones that take more time. In the end, I had to crawl in the jumpers with her to ensure her safety. This place needs organization and some thought put into creating a safe and fun environment. My last concern was when I tried to wash my daughter's hands in the bathroom as we exited. The floor was covered in water. As she climbed up on the little plastic stool to wash her hands, the stool immediately slipped (from the water) our from under her and she almost smashed her face on the sink. They need to invest in sturdier step stools and have someone monitoring the bathroom for safe conditions. This place could easily be a five star escape, they simply need to make more precautions for safety. read more

Good way to get your kids out of the house for some exercise. Place is new so it's not run down. $10 per kid unlimited open play. Only real complaint is they let the parents walk around with shoes on but the kids have to wear socks I think from a cleanliness perspective all shoes should be off. Also they need some more chairs for parents to sit at. read more

To be honest with everyone this one place you DO NOT want to take your children. I went there today for a birthday party for a family member and the party room wasn't even cleaned up and ready so we had to wait a while. They had 2 teenagers then set up the room once we were able to go in. Then you only have like a half hour to consume the food (which was disgusting from pizzabakery.com) and have disgusting cake. Then they have the employees come in and start cleaning up to kick you out. And here's a real kicker, they don't give a rats ass about safety here. Any sick scumbag could walk in this place and grab someone's child and walk right out the front door with a child. There is no security once so ever in this place and the front door is so far away from the sales counter. This place is a big scam and waste of money... I don't recommend anyone taking their children to this place! read more

It was my first visit today with my 5 year old and a 2 year old for a birthday party. If my kids were writing a review on JumpZone, they would give 10 stars if they could. But what kind of mom wouldn't want to see their kids happy and running wild! i gave it a 4 stars just because there weren't enough staff around the area and i was hoping they would keep it more cleaner and more organized, and the party room seemed a bit too small. but i would definitely be back to let the kids have some more fun! read more

Fun place for children but Pump It Up makes for a far smoother party experience hands down. Very disorganized. Staff didn't seem to really care how our experience was going. Check in seemed to have no process at all; my guests were confused about what to do and I had to focus on helping get the children set up rather than welcoming my guests. Later, staff began setting up party without discussing specifics with us, unlike Pump It Up where the staff spoke with me in advance, had very specific questions and worked with me to make a solid plan. I ordered a gluten free pizza, yet staff member gave every child regular pizza without consulting with us. By the time we saw what he had done, pizza was already out at table and children were eating. This is dangerous! At Pump It Up, party hosts worked hard to ensure guests had a good time and included games and a determined attitude to keep things smooth. At JumpZone it felt a bit like we were sailing the rough and tumble birthday seas. Overall, it was not horrible, but was stressful and error-ridden compared to other options. Had I never hosted a party at Pump It Up I might not know the difference. Will not host a party with Jump Zone again. Why put myself through that if there are better options? read more

Oohh my God this place is sooooo dirty. I took my 3 year old and 1 year old sons and they loved it but I was looking at the floor/carpet, it has never been vacuumed. Then I was looking at all thise slides and on both sides of every one there is soo much dirt and hair and other crap it is sooo sad that small kids go there and they might be licking this up from the floor and it is that dirty. I dont know how this place gets cerfitied or allowed to operate because it is ridiculous how much crap is on sides off all the slides. Just check it out next time you go. Just put your head through the opening that kids go through on any slide and check out the corners of that. I almost threw up. It is simply discusting. read more

Allow me start this review by saying that i am a very peaceful person. I am a lover I love most things that's why it deeply saddens me to have to write a report on such a terrible place. I attended the dreaded Jump Zone with my sister, where I encountered urine soaked slides, and a very rotten manager. I was expecting the advertised true Jump Zone experience, but in return I received basically a pile of empty promises. Having said that, all of the employees were extremely cooperative, mature, and peaceful. I will have you know that the manager wasn't anything like any of the employees, and she should not be allowed near children. I'm glad I got that off my chest, it's been bothering me for a long time. We took my son here a few weeks ago for a playdate with a classmate from preschool and a friend of theirs also. He loved Jump Zone and so did we. It's much cleaner, better lit and more spacious than Pump it Up. It also in one long room with no door or exits to elsewhere. This makes it much easier to keep track of the kids. They also have couches for the parents to sit on. This is great for younger siblings that are still breastfeeding or on bottles or a pregnant mom. We will be back in a week and a half for a birthday party and are looking forward to it. read more

Came here on Christmas Eve day. On a rainy holiday in Chicago I expected it to be crowded and loud. It was a pleasant surprise to find it otherwise. 4.5 stars! We've been going here since it opened up last winter, and we all love it. There is tamer stuff for my tentative 3yo, and full-out crazy stuff for my 4yo. The key is to go right when the open play session opens and (if you have younger kids) to go to the age 2-7 session. I took the kids to Pump It Up down by Division/ Halsted today, which made me appreciate JumpZone even more. The set-up at JumpZone is great - big open space in the center with all the inflatables lining the walls so that in theory you can kind of keep an eye on your kids zooming in and out and around. The only thing I dislike is that there's no gate or door between the check-in and play area. I even wish they had a staff member sitting there keeping an eye on kids wandering. The facility is clean, parking is easy, employees are friendly. $8/ kid on weekdays and $10/ kid on weekends. read more
