Gross! Went there 1 time for my husbands birthday and will never be back, even if they have free food. I hubby got a cheeseburger and the patty was about as thin as a McDonald's burger. A Big Mac would of us more taste than this burger. I got chicken fingers and there was nothing to it. You get about 10 fries with your meal too. Lunch was great! The Club Sandwich was huge! We ordered it with onion rings and they were fantastic. The Mac and Cheese was rich and creamy. We shared a slice of Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert and that was really good too! Chloe, our server was very friendly and attentive. Met a friend here for lunch, great environment, tons of craft brews to choose from. I had a couple bloody Mary's and they were fantastic, I'm very picky about them so definitely hit the high marks for me. We both had soup and salad lunch combo. Wild rice soup was kind of bland that took a star away, but the salad was tasty and their prices are very fair. Beth was our waitress and she was fantastic. My sister was visiting from Canada and during a break from work we had lunch at this place . I was shocked with how unkind, unprofessional and borderline racist the waitress was. as soon as the waitress notice her accent she became rude and very annoyed. We order appetizers and entrees, after 30 minutes of waiting, we finally got the waitress to come back to our table as she approached us she said in a very rude tone "what?" I calmly asked how much longer until the appetizers, that were clearly sitting on the kitchen counter right by us for awhile, she responded "be patient, it's coming" as she brought the food all at the same time(appetizers and entree), didn't bother to bring refills for our drinks either. At the end we mentioned to her that she never even introduced herself. She was taken back by it and told her her name was Jess. Well Jess, you made a very poor impression on us. Stopped here for lunch today with the wife. This is a fantastic looking building with a cool layout. Service was good but my food...not so much. I ordered the prime rib sandwich. Billed as a 10 hour smoked prime rib. I could taste 0 smoke. In fact this was utterly tasteless and bland. Maybe throw some sort of seasoning on it. Salt? Pepper? Plus they put on waaaay too much Dijon Mustard which over powered the already tasteless sandwich. I had to dip it in 57 sauce to try and get through it. The portion size was ample. It was a big sandwich. I got it with a side of fries. They tasted like they were cooked in old grease. I would most likely come back here just because it's a cool looking place. Maybe I would have better luck with something else on the menu. But I would stay away from the deli prime rib. read more

I came for dinner with my wife. New place in cottage grove area. Nice interior and looks like good menu. But.. We didn't have any silverware and when they brought it, it was wrapped in a white napkin. I'd think they'd have a real cloth napkin. They brought the wrong dressing. I ordered a philly cheese that was sposed to be prime rib and it was just finely chopped meat. I was surprised it had mushrooms. I didn't read that in menu. The bun was not crispy or light. Just a plane bun. My wife had a cheeseburger. It was average. It's supposed to be a grill place ??? On the way out we passed the pull tab booth I was hoping this would have been a better place. Had the smoke house burger. The cole slaw and barbecue sauce combination was overwhelming. Way too much juices dripping from the burger, and the flavors did not meld well. Also had the dry rub chicken wings which were way too salty, even for someone who likes salt. Also tried a pizza which included ricotta cheese despite despite not mentioning that on the menu. I had lunch at this place the other day and was amazed at the prices and quality of the food. They currently have a "lunch special" where a variety of sandwiches/meals are either $8 or $10. I loved it cause one of the included sides was a fresh salad rather than the standard fries. I'll be back here for sure. Cheese curds are excellent!! I got a mushroom Swiss bacon burger. Very good! Awesome bacon and they didn't severely overcook the burger. Maybe a little more seasoning on the burger patty itself, but definitely rather have it under than over seasoned!!! Also awesome fries!!!! Please bring in waffle fries! They are by far the superior fry!!! They also give you a large slice of pickle which was delish!!! Wings are greatly sauced and crispy!! Our lacrosse team was playing at a local tournament and we had to wait until the next game to find out if we were playing on or going home. Our team manager found Junction 70 online. When she called, they said they could handle us, so we took the whole group for Sunday brunch. Great location. Menu definitely needs a major overhaul. We were there on Saturday night for dinner and had 12 dishes or so to choose from. For a brand new restaurant being open only 2 months, and not being able to offer a full menu, that's the main reason for the low rating. Now Juction 70 Grille doesn't even offer a soup option. That's critical for people, like myself who are on a liquid only diet. So I was left without a food option. And finally someone in our group ordered Bread Pudding, which we were told was the best. Well we waited forever for the dessert. And instead of being warm and inviting...the Bread Pudding was blah. Almost like it was made and then sat in the service window for an extended period of time. Love this restaurant! I'm from the other side of town (Edina) and would drive out here for a good meal anytime! I came for happy hour and sat on the patio with Emily as my server. We went to the 70 Junction for a birthday and I was a little skeptical looking at the menu. I never order burger because they end up being messy but the smokehouse was really good! Took my family in for Sunday brunch. Food was not labeled which made it hard to figure out what it was. The food was ok and when we went back for seconds they were out of French toast and eggs Benedict. It took 10 Minutes for the Benedict and 15 for the French toast. When I spoke to the manager and he umm sorry. I called today and was told I am not allowed back there and that I was yelling at there staff. I guess the manager I spoke to tried to make it that I was a bad guy. Waiting for more then a couple of minutes for food at a buffet is redicoius. Then to complain and be told your not allowed back is totally unprofessional. Hope this helps some people. read more

The real deal. Great sports bar atmosphere. Lots of different beers on tap. Service was excellent and the food was just plain over the top. I need to bring family here for a great time.
