Just left from a dinner on the patio and everything was exceptional. 10/10 The ambiance is so upscale and luxurious, yet comforting. I didn't know there was an incredible secret-alley-garden-patio until today, so sitting out there was a delightful surprise. I ordered the domestic wagyu sirloin 6 oz, medium, and it couldn't haven't been a more perfect cook. Initially satisfied with the chimichurri, I found myself desiring a second sauce. I went with the gorgonzola mornay and it was so good I had to drown the rest of my steak in that sauce. For a side, the crispy papas aplastadas, with beurre blanc, parmesan, bacon and chives. Chefs kiss perfection. To finish the choco torta and scoop of gelato was absolute perfection. The best part of my evening, however, was service with Tahn. Calm, grounded, professional, observant, hilarious, and connection-focused. I will be coming back, and bringing friends, specifically for their service. Made a reservation while in town for work. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Great menu selection and our waitress helped a ton. She went over all the Brazilian cuts to make my decision a lot easier. We ultimately decided on the panzanella salad, eggplant parm, Entraña cut, and Tallow fries. The salad was light and refreshing. Just wished the asparagus was cut smaller and did not have that hard of a bite. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing. Housemade croutons were a nice touch too. The eggplant parm had a nice crust but was pretty soft and soggy inside. Pretty thick cut from the picture you can see. Sauce had a nice subtle heat. The Entraña cut was a perfect medium rare. HOLY SMOKES. From start to finish, our time here was flawless! We were greeted upon entering the establishment by every employee which was refreshing. Our waters were never empty (as an indication of how well we were tended to). Every dish was FULL of flavor. Portion sizes were well-balanced and we still ended up taking food home with us. Truly an unbelievable dinner!! Got a reservation about two weeks in advance for our group of 4 for a Friday night. We got 8pm and it was just perfect. We were told that the mussels were a must get, and I can not restate this enough. The mussels are a MUST GET. They were unbelievable and SOOO many mussels. Our waiter Andy was truly outstanding. We really aren't picky eaters and we just asked Andy to assemble dishes for us to get a good tasting of the menu while staying in a certain budget and he exceeded it. We had the sweet corn agnolotto and it was truly out of this world. Just truly loved this dish. Creamy, flavorful and so perfect. We had a few Argentinian steaks and the one was Gorgonzola cream was truly incredible. You just get the papas bravas and the mushrooms were just delicious as well. Came here for brunch recently (my second time having brunch here) and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite spots as someone who's not a fan of traditional American breakfast. My first time I had the Turkish Eggs (not pictured) and OMG. That is the only way I want all my egg dishes prepared now. This time we started with Pa amb tomaquet which was a perfect balance of acidic, salty, and crunchy. Even if you're not an anchovies fan I recommend giving this dish a try as the texture is undetectable. My main was entraña steak w/ chimichurri sauce and two over medium eggs. Everything was perfectly prepared (per usual for this place) and I appreciated that the steak was the same price as the dinner menu but with the added value of the eggs. Porzana really nails the date night vibe with its dark, moody ambiance. From the moment you walk in to when you leave, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed. Every server we've had has been friendly, attentive, and great at giving recommendations. The food is unreal. Easily some of the best in the area. A few favorites are the chipas, pork empanadas, glazed carrots, and the agnolotti pasta. And of course, the steaks are a highlight. I love that they offer grass-fed options. We've tried a few cuts, including the Australian wagyu and Zabuton with béarnaise, and everything has been perfectly cooked, super tender, and well seasoned. The papas aplastadas are another must. Salty, creamy, and perfect for sharing. The only downside for me is dessert. The options feel a bit limited and nothing really stands out compared to how strong the rest of the menu is. My friend and I came her last night to celebrate her birthday. Jake was our waiter and he was fantastic! So knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and knew his wine! I have a gluten allergy and they had a separate GF menu. We started off with a couple of cocktails - mango!mango!mango! and between the sheets. The mango!x3 had a lovely smokey flavor to it that wasn't overwhelmed with the taste of tequila. For appetizers we ordered a dozen oysters, and a bread basket. They were able to make it half gluten free (udi's brand) and half sourdough. The brown butter it came with was to die for! We received complimentary chipas (also GF) which was a nice surprise. They were soft and cheesy, and paired very nicely with the mojo picon sauce that had a spicy kick to it. For our main entree we ordered the grass finished hanger and the entraña steaks, medium rare. Both were cooked perfectly. The entraña was tender and paired nicely with the chimichurri sauce. The hanger steak paired nicely with the au poivre sauce. During my first visit to Porzana, all I could think was: what took me so long to get here? What a wonderful experience! From beginning to end--even on an incredibly busy Friday night--I had one of the most delightful dinners. To start, the ambiance is top tier: elegant décor, moody lighting, soft music. We enjoyed some of the best cocktails prepared by the incredible mixologist, Anthony, who kept the drinks flowing effortlessly. A busy bar, but beautiful pours every single time. We sipped on: - Gigi: cute and lethal. - Solana: not for the faint of heart. - El Diablo: as spicy as the name suggests. - Old Fashioned: old faithful. - "Anthony's Off Menu" mix: orange, chocolate, Belvedere blend. After some time, we were transferred to our table. Although the tables are somewhat close together, this is a place that's easy to settle in and get lost in your own little world. We had the loveliest server, who gave a phenomenal first impression by introducing herself, walking us through the menu, making thoughtful recommendations, and chatting with us just enough to answer questions without rushing. OK, hands down, this is some of the best food I've had in the Minneapolis area. I'd heard about this place from multiple people and my hotel bartender, which, let's be honest, is basically Michelin-level validation. If someone who pours drinks for a living tells you where to eat, you listen. We showed up on a Wednesday night, but looking around, you'd swear it was Saturday at 7 PM. The place was PACKED. The waitlist was at least an hour long, but thankfully we had a reservation because my hanger level cannot handle that kind of test. They sat us near the kitchen, which I didn't mind, but the table right next to the kitchen seemed like it needed a traffic cone and hazard lights. People kept avoiding it like it was haunted. Then came the appetizers. Specifically, the grilled shrimp. HOLY. WOW. If I could write an ode to these shrimp, I would. These little crustaceans were sent from heaven, or at least from a chef who deeply understands my soul. They came out whole, topped with cilantro, crispy garlic, and some magical sauce mixture that I can only describe as "give me more immediately." I had to physically restrain myself from licking the plate. Zero shame. For my main dish, I ordered the Malfadini Estofado. Handmade noodles, short ribs, tomato, Parmesan, basically everything my carb loving heart dreams about at night. The noodles had that perfect al dente chew, and the short rib sauce was rich and comforting enough to heal emotional wounds. Amazing. Service? Also fantastic. Our server was funny, warm, and on top of everything. And the WATER SERVICE? Listen. If there is one thing I love, it's not having to ration my water like I'm trekking across the desert. Porzana is an amazing Argentinian restaurant - no wonder they were recently chosen as one of the top 100 Yelp restaurants. My colleagues and I had dinner here on a Wednesday night. I called ahead and made a reservation - so glad I did. It was very busy, even though it a week night, but we luckily got seated immediately upon arrival. Our server, Brittany, was super friendly and attentive. She gave us great recommendations, and we ordered pretty much everything she suggested. The spicy scallops ceviche was so fresh and it had just right amount of heat to it. The spring mix salad was so refreshing and delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. For the main course, I shared a wagyu steak, which was cooked perfectly, and the lobster pasta with my colleague. They were both excellent. We were quite full but ordered a tiramisu to share, which was not only delicious but beautiful! I was too hungry to take pics of the appetizers and main course but remembered to snap the tiramisu (while happily in food coma and a little tipsy too). Argentinian beer was nicely chilled and light, which was perfect for a warm evening. We also share a bottle of Chilean red that was so good and I wish I snapped a pic of the label. The restaurant has a great interior with exposed bricks and beams. They also have a terrace for outdoor seating, I think. The place gets a bit noisy but we were seated in the back by the kitchen, so it wasn't too bad. It was a Five-star experience for both food and service. I highly recommend it! read more

Next-level. The tuna crudo and empanadas were spot on, and then came a martini twist I'll never forget: a vodka martini with chimichurri instead of olive brine. Genius. We hit up Porzana for my husband's 40th birthday. The entire staff immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Travis, provided impeccable recommendations on cocktails, wine, and food. I originally booked a table on the patio, but, due to the rain, we were moved into the group dining room upstairs. The burrata was delish with a balance of savory and sweet. Our next course was Caesar salad, miso marinated rib eye, and pommes puree. The Caesar salad was delicious. Perfect blend of crispy and savory. The fried oysters almost made me feel like I was back at the state fair. The miso marinated rib eye was so yummy! We got the spicy chimichurri to go with it, but I didn't use it. Cooked medium rate, the steak was tender and savory. I didn't like the spicy chimichurri, it seemed like it over powered the seasoning on the steak. The pommes puree with gravy were also delicious. They puree garlic confit into the potatoes and the gravy is divine. For dessert we ordered the lavender ricotta gelato and carrot cake. The gelato was incredible! It was about the size of a softball and creamy with complex flavors that weren't too sweet. I wasn't a fan of the carrot cake. I thought it tasted more like a spice cake and the combination of cream cheese and mango puree didn't do it for me. When I let Travis know that we didn't like the carrot cake he was nice enough to take it off of our bill even though that was not my intention! And onto Travis. Porzana is my boyfriend and I's new favorite restaurant for 2025!! Holy moly it is absolutely delicious!!! First off, this place is extremely busy! And for good reason, it's fantastic! With that being said here are a few things to note: 1) MAKE A RESERVATION!! You don't have to, but this place is very busy!! 2)Because it is so busy, it's very loud here. So if you are coming for a "quiet" romantic dinner, this is not it. 3)You will smell like the restaurant when you leave. The kitchen is open and they are cooking lots of steaks! It's smells heavily! (Almost bonfire) We took an Uber from our hotel, but it didn't look like there was a ton of parking in the area. They do have valet though! The vibes here are great! Dark, romantic, lots of wood, real candles! Our table was small next to the kitchen and it was fun to watch everything being made! The service here was good. I wouldn't say great only because it was SO busy that it was hard for our waiter to keep up! With that being said, he was delightful and very helpful! The food was SPECTACULAR!!! This was the best meal we have had together!! (And we have been to A LOT of places!) The food was fresh, cooked correctly and had unique flavors! We got the Grass fed New York Strip 14oz and shared it! Cooked to a perfect medium! Very tasty!! We also had the sourdough bread with brown butter (I'm drooling now, haha) the Caesar salad with fried oysters is the BEST salad we have ever had! The Tagliatelle pasta was stunning! The noodles had such an amazing texture! And the flavors were comforting! We did not get dessert (we don't normally) but this place was so amazing that my boyfriend said he regretted it! Next time!! Porzano is a beautiful restaurant--inside and out. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, and the patio was hands-down my favorite part of the evening. It was also my birthday, and they started the night off with a complimentary glass of champagne, which was a lovely touch! We kicked things off with the spicy scallop tartare. While it was flavorful, the portion was pretty small. We also shared the endive salad, which reminded me of a wedge salad. It had some great elements (especially the thick-cut bacon!), but something about it tasted bitter--maybe the dressing or the endive itself? For my main dish, I had the porcini cavatelli. The mushrooms were delicious, but the pasta was a bit too chewy and the overall flavor didn't quite hit the mark for me. My husband had the grilled salmon, which he really enjoyed. He said the flavor was fantastic, though the portion was on the small side. Porzano offers plenty of steak options if that's what you're after--though be prepared for steakhouse prices (the filet is $80). Service throughout the night was excellent--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. One downside is parking. There's very limited street parking available. You can pay $12 for a nearby lot or $15+tip for valet. Overall, it was a lovely evening. I hope to go back to try other menu items--and enjoy that patio again! read more

Overall such a unique experience! The chef truly showed the art in their dishes, giving you more than your typical Argentinian steak house cuisine. I appreciated the versatility in the menu but also the curated approach. The burrata was packed with flavor and the bread had the perfect char! The endive salad was hard to stop eating and the eggplant Milanese was perfectly crisp and packed with mild heat. The carnivores of the group were satisfied with the hanger steak cut and cook. For the coffee lovers, make sure to ask for an off menu affogato to end your night. The service was tentative, knowledgeable and pleasant. The ambiance was warm and a vibeeee. read more

Tried Porzana for brunch and it was a solid visit. The burger was pretty solid- and the empanadas were right up there with it. The fried chicken sandwich didn't quite keep up- it was pretty dry and definitely under seasoned. Cocktails were decent-with a good variety to choose from. I was recommended this place by a coworker who lives locally. My family and I were visiting from Florida and wanted to find a nice place to eat near our hotel. I am so glad we put this on our list. The food was phenomenal! Everything we had was good, including the drinks. Although it was a bit pricey, the flavors were on point. Our server was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions.
