I needed some custom work done to replace an exhaust and muffler for my RV generator. This is an old school, third generation garage, not just another franchise. Kenny, the owner is a master of his craft and was recommended to me by the staff of the Cummings/Onan near Eugene. The job needed some custom exhaust pipe bending and installation of an extra little muffler. The end result was better than the OEM factory system that it replaced. I met with Tim and he analyzed my tailpipe problems. He quickly welded my tail pipe and sent me on my way. 100 per happy with the results of his labor and will return when I have another problem. We brought our car in due to ongoing issues. After about a week, we had not received any updates. I called and was told someone would call me back, but no one did. After waiting a few more days, I called again and was told they hadn't found anything and would drive the car the next day and follow up with us. We again received no call for nearly another week. When I called once more, I was told the car essentially needed a tune-up. At that point, we decided to pick up the vehicle and complete the work ourselves. However, we were charged $500 without being given any quote or having any discussion about potential costs beforehand. The lack of communication--both regarding the status of our vehicle and the cost--was extremely disappointing. I also had to call multiple times just to get someone on the phone. My van was making noise after a long trip. My mechanic checked it out & sent me to Ken re: the van's catalytic converters. Ken checked it out & ordered the parts and I took it in to be fixed. Ken and his crew disassembled the converters and found a small gasket leaking. Once that was replaced, the issue was resolved. What a surprise when Ken called to say the cat converters were OK! I appreciate the honesty of Ken. Some other shop might have gone ahead and replaced the converters at the same time. Instead, I had a much smaller bill to pay and the van is fixed! My motorhome's exhaust system had a hole by the oil pan, so driving the rig could be dangerous. Ordering a part from Frightliner would have taken 50 plus days. Ken worked with the place our motorhome was being serviced and got the damaged part fixed and then replaced in one day. If I lived in the area, they would get all my business. As a side note I met another RV'er who did live in the area, and he said he used this shop. In 20 years of RVing, they are one of the best places I have ever used. Quality of workmanship 5. I would leave 10 stars if I could. 1st off the owner is a retired race car driver, there's trophies and stuff in the waiting area. He's not a salesman he's a muffler guy, and good at what he does, as was the staff. Gave me a good deal on a new exhaust system and went above and beyond. Can't reccomend enough. This shop and Ken are great! I noticed my muffler was hanging off my car so I asked around for a place to get it fixed, and my brother recommended here! Ken immediately knew how to fix the problem and was able to offer an affordable solution to me, none of the shady stuff some mechanics do to try and get a few extra bucks. I had Junction City Muffler Shop swap out my mufflers from Flowmaster 40 series which were installed by a previous owner on my '67 Chevelle for Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series mufflers. I told Ken I wanted a nice classic car exhaust sound but not as loud as the 40 series. He recommended the 50 series and they are exactly what I wanted. Great advice, great service. read more

I'm a woman alone, I have taken my car to other mechanics, I know I have been overcharged. So when I heard a rattle sound, under my car. I thought that my muffler was loose. I took my car to JC Muffler. Ken the owner,found a small hole in my tailpipe. I made an appointment to have it replaced. Ken took off my tailpipe, while I waited. When he took the pipe off, he showed me the larger hole, that we could not see, when he had the car on the lift. Ken replaced the tailpipe, in under a hour, fast and efficient work. I was charged a fair price. If you have a problem with your exhaust, bring your car to JC Muffler. They do a great job at a fair price. read more
