Overall, it depends on what you order. Been there a few times, most recently a couple of weeks ago for a working lunch meeting. This time I had the Greek salad. Pretty good. Service is always good. They are known for their burgers which have never disappointed. The one item to stay away from are their wings. Their wings are breaded which would get you run out of upstate NY the home of the original buffalo wings. Got them on the visit before last because we were running late and had wanted wings. On a previous visit a while back we had noticed them on the menu and that they were breaded. We asked if they could be done without the breading and were told yes. When we went to get the wings were told no. How can you not do that? It would be cheaper and more cost effective for the restaurant. Anyway, if you want a good burger, definite a place to go. If you want breaded wings go to Golden Corral and at least you can get the whole buffet for the same price. read more

First off, the only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because this place only has two taps and both of them are Red Oak. This establishment has some fantastic staff members very welcoming and kind. As a first time visitor it's everything I expect. The staff was very helpful with helping pick food to eat. We explained to the staff that we were going to get our food to go because we were wanting to find a place with more taps. The restaurant was very understanding and considerate. We ordered our food, which was pretty timely. The Cobb Salad was HUGE and fantastic! Definitely would order food to go but would not eat in because the lack of draft beer. read more

I tried the pizza for the first time here in years, just recently. I used to patron this location a lot when it was Pomodoros. The pizza was so good! (& I'm very very picky) I ordered on a Monday & again on Thursday because I loved it so much! My burger had no seasoning whatsoever, the only thing that saved it was the little bit of pico de gallo and avocado that was on it.. the twisted garlic knots were okay but I swear there is Campbell's tomato soup in the marinara dipping sauce!! That marinara is not true marinara no seasoning on the vegetables either when you order it as a side, it's literally veggies w/ steamed water. Pizza is good... this is real pizza not like the various franchise type pies. The crust is as it should be - a little bit crisp and a little bit chewy. Toppings can be a little heavy handed but - too much cheese is not much of a complaint. Subs and wraps are good. Lots of beer choices. Service is friendly and spot on. The manager Kyle is top drawer. Fine dining? Not really, but if you know what you're getting into you'll be just fine. AND - great for carry out! We live (too close) close by and love our carry out pizzas! This is a spot that we frequent a lot due to the close proximity to our home. I haven't had anything there that wasn't delicious. The baked pasta is delicious and served with homemade sauces. The chicken wings are huge, plentiful and crispy. The beer and wine selection will allow anyone to find something they like. The pizza... a must. During the summer there is a patio outback to use in the warmer months. The only thing that doesn't give this 5 stars is the staff. Majority of the time the staff is super friendly but a couple of times I felt like I was being rushed out and it was only around 8 pm (they close at 10 pm). Each time it's the same staff member. This was the first visit for my wife and I, though our daughter and her family have been here on several prior occasions. Most in our party ordered burgers of one kind or another with the rest being a chicken cesar wrap and a calzone. So how was the food? Conversation ceased once we began eating with the only sounds being that of pleasure. Yes, it was that good. Were I to characterize this establishment I would say that it is gourmet bar fare but with a much broader selection. Mebane is a North Carolina country town that is maturing due to the growing housing market. I have been to other eateries in Mebane and most still try to cater to the expectations of customers from the 80's. This establishment should thrive and grow as families move in from other parts of the country and demand a place to dine that servers quality, varied items at a decent price. I no longer have to take the grandsons to Burlington for a decent eating experience. We will definitely be back. The waite staff was courteous, didn't rush taking the orders, and returned often to ensure our needs attended to and making sure our glasses were full. read more

I'm seeing a lot of reviews here docking this establishment based on uncontrollable circumstances. (A parade, inclement weather, come on!) and simply because some of the southerners here are not used to the authentic tastes of New England food. I love this place. The owner is from Vermont and everything he makes here is legit. Hard garlic bread? That's not a negative thing, that's how it is back home! His grandma's Sicilian pizza is to die for and his subs are out of control. Couple that with the fact that the owner Steve is awesome and the prices are dirt cheap (lol someone said "big city" prices, go to Boston pal. Try and find me a spot where you can get $2 beers) what more could you want from a place right in the heart of your downtown? read more

The food was a little bland when we had it and the service was mid, the people were rude. But overall everything else was marvelous.

We had a group of 13 that has a great visit to the Conservators Center and were hungry. Since more than half of the 13 were kids we figured any place that has burgers and pizza would be perfect. Half of us entered through the wrong door but instead of getting disdain, we were kindly ushered to the hostess stand, where one of the kids counted is all and told the host we had 13. He said to give him a moment while he put tables together to accommodate us. I have to add it was about 12:15 when our group strolled in and the place was busy. But not enough that we could not be seated within maybe 5 minutes? The orders at the table ranged from slices of pizza, to a wrap, to a Kids pizza pie, to cheeseburgers. No one complained about their food! The Kids burgers were the same size as the adult burgers. The lunch special of two slices and a drink, got the spot. The slices were a good size! The kids smiley face pie is HUGE! Two kids could easily share it. The server was pleasant and never once seemed anxious about our big table of mainly kids. She was efficient and friendly. We were checked on by several people, which was great. We don't normally hang in Mebane but if I came back I would definitely eat here again. read more

We tried this restaurant in an attempt to try something new in town, however we were sadly disappointed in the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. We should have left when they sat us at a sipping wet table and the waitress took no care in getting us a napkin to clean it ourselves. But we stayed, long story short, waitress was never visible, 3 of the wines I ordered were out (apparently this is not a new occurrence, according to the waitress), food was tasteless and obviously frozen and defrosted, we had to ask for drinks to be refilled. We ended up leaving an appetizer half intact, and two entrees obviously uneaten. The waitress cleared the plates without asking about the food quality. Obviously we didn't eat it. Paying the bill and leaving now because it's not even worth fighting with people who can't figure out how to cook a burger or a chicken breast. read more

Junction 70 was one of the first restaurants we visited in person since the beginning of the pandemic. Not only is there food tasty and reasonably priced, but they successfully maintained physical distancing between tables. My only feedback would be for all the waitstaff to wear masks appropriately (covering both nose and mouth, instead of just mouth, as our waiter was). Overall, thank you, Junction!! read more

I have been here a few times and have always had great service and food. We actually travel 30 mins to go here. But today was especially awesome. We turned up as a table of 7 and was greeted immediately. We were told our server would be there soon but that she was working alone so may be a little longer. I have to say this server was an absolute rock star. She handled that restaurant like the pro she was.. The place filled up pretty quick and she had everything under control. Everybody got drinks and orders were taken and received in great timing. Not only that this server was pregnant and had 2 wrist braces. I'm so sorry I didn't get her name but she was by far one of the best servers I have seen. The support staff she had were fabulous too making sure food was out and tables were cleaned quickly. This is mediocre at best. Today was my 5th meal here and it will be my last. I have business in the same building which brings me there several times a month. This would be a go to place if it wasn't so inconsistent, overpriced, and bland. Today I got burger the bbq burger with onion rings, asked for it medium. It was past well done, burned would be another way to say that. I ate less than 1/2 and shouldn't have eaten that. In addition tHe bun not toasted and cold. The onions rings cold and greasy. This place honestly hasnt changed much since when it was Pomodoros. The pizza tastes the same, (its good but not great) the wings are below average but the most off putting thing is the staff. I would not dine in based on the few short interactions ive had picking up food. I want to get out as fast as i can. The most recent pizza order just in the time i was paying i heard inappropriate conversations and at least 3-4 "F" bombs come out of the kitchen. The owner or manager has made a few inappropriate jokes or comments to people times ive been in there. Its honestly not worth going here the experience is worse than the food but you can get equal or better food elsewhere and not have to deal with their garbage. read more

I tried to order a large supreme pizza today. I have a six-year old child that's eating, so I requested 2 slices be just cheese. I was told the 'pizza cook won't do that, but he can do half'.....half a pizza, for a six-year old child. They also told me I could order a kid's cheese pizza.
