Very good food! I really enjoyed the all beef meatball sandwich. The bread was very soft and warm. Service was very prompt and friendly run by a family. We had reservations about coming as the restaurant we were looking for was permanently closed. So glad we tried this place on a whim. So, I decided to buy my staff lunch. they wanted Pizza but dominos or papa johns. they wanted authentic pizza. So I decided on this place. What a big mistake. The sever was pleasant with a really cute smile. However, as far as the pizza. I don't want to say it however, trash! First it was cold, second, way too thin virtually no sauce and over priced for we got. I will admit, I'm a little more judgmental when it comes to pizza. Not the biggest spot, but worth the visit nonetheless. Big shout out to our server, Ashley, she was extremely attentive and a pleasure to meet. The garlic knots were the perfect texture. Amazing service, waitress was so kind and helpful! She was working on her birthday and had to leave to pick up her kid and let us know beforehand and got our check ready so there would be no issue!! She was amazing and the food was so unbelievably good. As someone from New Jersey I have missed good and real italian food and this place really made me feel like home. 10/10 read more

Bad experience at Roma's Pizza in Mebane this evening. Was not the first but the worst. Ordered to go 3 meals. 10" pizza with onions, garlic and hamburger, chicken platter with black olives instead of what they normally use, chicken on the side, small childs lasagna. The wife opened the salad in the parking lot cause she was missing the chicken and found it on the salad where she asked to have it on the side. It looked soggy. She asked for it that way because it wilts by the time we get home. When we got home the pizza was missing onions, garlic and hamburger. The lasagna's aluminum plate was bent up. I have notified the manager/cook before, but they still haven't got it together. Very unsatisfactory. This is the Last time I will darken there door. read more

FYI!!!! Romas pizza in Mebane 32.93 for this!! I wish you would look at my Lasagna they charged me 5.00 ex for meat sauce so for 1 strip of noodle and sauce it was 14.95!!! It says online 9.95!! For the Spaghetti which looks nice it says 10:95 with meat sauce they charged 13.95!! They will never have my business again. Customer service was a little lacking but the food was pretty good. They forgot my drink when they delivered it, there was no plastic silverware or napkins, and the ketchup packets were stuck together with syrup maybe? I got the meatball sub and cheese fries. My coworker also got the meatball sub and a cheesecake dessert. The fries were crinkle cut fries, the worst kind of fries in my opinion. Favorite of school cafeterias and shity diners. Surprisingly though they were good because of the seasoning and cheese. The meatball sub was good. I added green peppers and onions to it. The bread was soggy but that usually happens when ordering delivery. Also the subs come with chips, I don't believe the menu said that. My co-workers sub was also good and he said the cheesecake was really good. The best part was the price though, very reasonable! Walked in at 2:30 PM to order off the lunch menu that stated it was available from 11-3. I tried to order the personal pizza and the person at the counter said it was after lunch and I'd have to order off the regular menu. I said it's not 3 yet and he said lunch was over. I felt like they just wanted me to pay extra for the 2 toppings which would have come with the lunch personal pizza. I left and took my business next door to the sushi restaurant which was amazing. I hate leaving bad reviews, but y'all... the kitchen staff weren't wearing masks!! We were halfway through our meal and looking for our waiter (doing the neck craning thing) and could see in the kitchen and literally, no masks, no gloves. in these times... I don't want to give a bad review of a local restaurant but... be careful at this place. We had a gyro, a small pizza and an order of boneless wings. Maybe we ordered poorly, maybe it was a bad night. It was our first (and only) visit that was prompted by seeing so many customers coming and going. First- the gyro. OMG. I've never had a pita that cracked when bent, nor have I ever had gyro meat that was a crisp as bacon, or bitter green lettuce on a gyro. I hate to throw away food but... eeek. Second - Pizza. Just a little personal size with ok crust and SALTY sauce and GREASY pepperoni. It was, at least, edible but there are lots of pizza places out there Third - included fries... crinkle cut frozen fries that varied from barely cooked enough to, you ahead of me here, aren't you? - barely cooked enough to not - not cooked enough. Filed into the trash bin. Fourth - Boneless wings. And we have a winner. Tender and the sauce was rather good. Now the order of 6 pieces was magically reduced to 3 but... all three pieces were eaten. Again - maybe a bad night - maybe the wrong place to get fries or gyros or even personal size pizza ... or maybe not. It isn't that close to us (we live very close to the Junction) so it is hard to see a motivation to drive for food we (mostly) throw away. Took a little trip to Mebane to visit with someone and conduct some business with them. They were selling, I was buying. I asked for a dinner recommendation - they seem very pro "Italian" if we liked that sort of thing, and recommended a few places, with Roma's being their second choice. We were seated in the table closest to the door and it was not a good location - we ate with our coats on. The atmosphere is that of a small mom & pop diner moreso than a pizza place. The woodgrain paneling was dark but only as high as the wainscoting. Above that the place brightened up a bit. If there's a next time, I will avoid the calamari - it was very sub-par in my humble opinion, tasted very fishy and was not hand breaded, rather more like out of a box from the freezer. The pizza was okay, nothing really special. Kudos to the staff for allowing a substitution on their specialty pizza (nixed the black olives and substituted jalapeno peppers). Roma's will do, but it won't be my first choice when visiting Mebane. read more

I got food poisoning here after eating the Chicken Pesto and side Caesar salad which was mediocre at best. I know it was from here because the only other meal I had that day was frozen Eggo waffles and eggs for breakfast. Impossible to get food poisoning from that. The sickness began about 8 hours after eating here and lasted about 24-36 hours. Awful experience. I called the owner/manager to let him know the day after and he basically told me that it wasn't his food and didn't seem too concerned. Been there twice, and very disappointed both times. The food was very bland and uninspired, the service just OK, and the decor pretty generic. Their pizza is amazing. The ranch I dipped it in was even more amazing (it had little bits of dill in it. O.M.G.) I've also been here when the hubs was in the mood for pizza and I wasn't so I ordered the Greek salad. I couldn't believe how big of a portion it was, so I ended up taking it home. (Who takes home salads? You do when they give you half the garden). I only gave it 4 stars because this place could use some renovation. This is a frequent stop for me and my friends on a Friday or Saturday evening. I usually get one of the subs, wraps, or pizza, but have tried some of the specials and haven't been disappointed. Staff always seem helpful and friendly. Only downside is that it can get a little noisy with some families with small kids on the weekend. read more

One star is a very High rating for this poorly managed restaurant. When I arrived wasn't greeted, I ended up after 5 mins of waiting, seating myself. They took my order after waiting 15 mins then decided to not put order in so it got lost. Then tried to order again and they got the order wrong when brought out the food after another 30 mins of waiting once the food came out it was Luke warm and not much taste. This place has awesome pizza. We've tried some of the other places around and just happened to be at Lowe's when we wanted pizza. I'm glad we did. I got take for us and everything was so much better than any of the the other places we had tried before. This is definitely our "go to" pizza place from now on. Ordered: 10 inch All Meat Pizza $12.95 Fried Appetizer Platter $4.99 Total $23.34 (after taxes, tip, and fees.) They didn't put seasoning on cheese fries (only a dab of cheese). Fries tasted like great value fries that had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The onion rings were freezer burnt, no cheese (also given the heat lamp treatment.) They messed up my order. Ordered thick crust, was given thin crust. The pizza itself was sad. Some of the meats were over cooked (maybe some are precooked before adding?). The delivery was not quick, over an hour. And the whole meal was room temperature. I feel completely ripped off and I will never order from Roma's Pizza / Mebane, NC ever again. I don't leave reviews often, but this is a atrocity for a Friday Night after work meal. Order from Papa John's they even deliver to you at the bar, it will cost way less and taste better. read more

Ordered food was told 45 mins for delivery, waited an hour and a half and called and was told sorry our delivery driver quit you can come pick it up yourself or cancel the order per the manager, didn't even try to call and apologize or let me know they weren't bringing my food. I came in for a early dinner with my two sons. They don't have high chairs for a two yrs old, only for tiny babies. So, we used a booster seat which didn't put him up to the table. The service was okay. Our waitress just didn't seem trained. The pizza was good. I got a grilled chicken Cesar salad, which was bland and didn't have to usual cheese on it but had some powdered parmesan. It was served with no dressing and had to ask for some. We had dirty silverware and all of our plates were badly chipped. I don't think that we'll be back. If we do, it will to only get pizza to go. read more

Terribly disappointed in last night's dinner. Hardly any fillings in the calzone and Stromboli. Place had a good sanitary rating, but didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while, floors were grimy looking, and as they are only doing delivery and take out, it should have been clean. Lousiest pizza ever. I ordered a pizza with extra cheese and ham and mushrooms, to be delivered. The delivery was fast but I'm guessing that's because no time was spent on the pizza. It looked like it had been dropped or maybe tilted at several different angles, not much of the cheese was on the pizza, so maybe it was a good thing that there didn't seem to be much cheese at all, which for the extra $2.50 I paid for extra cheese was quite a disappointment. There were a few little smatterings of ham here and there. The mushrooms were tasty, probably the best part. The sauce was okay but it was thin, and sparse and not all on the pizza, but had run off with a lot of the cheese. I salvaged the couple pieces that actually resembled pizza and gave the rest to my animals. Even my pizza loving cat wasn't impressed, the dog however thought it was a great treat.
