I'll preface this by saying I honestly did not know Franco Pizzeria was here. I don't get over to this side of town often, but it popped up on my Yelp page as a suggestion, so I popped over there for a slice or two. Was a bit put off by the sight of only a few customers in such a large dining area, but it's lunch on an off day, so just go with it. The pizzas were arranged in a row under glass at the counter with a pretty wide selection. Your basic S&P, a white pizza with spinach, a Hawaiian looking pie, and a veggie pie. I went for a slice of the S&P as well as the spinach and feta with tomato. About 5-10 minutes later, I had my slices and sprinkled some crushed red pepper flakes on them for a little kick to the palate. All in all... good slices... flavorful, with good distinction of the spices in the sausage and pepperoni. The crust felt a little too much chew, but still held up the ingredients well and didn't leave any crumbs on the plate. I don't know if this is the best location... considering I'd never even heard of it, but will do my best to make it back over there to try some other pies. read more

Great food, service, and ambiance. Friendly staff, they make you feel at home. Prices very reasonable.

This was a mixed bag of a restaurant. Some of the food was very good and some was well below average in quality. The staff that answered the phone (for takeout) seemed confused and frustrated. Everyone has bad days so I don't hold that against them. I will try them again to see if it was just an off day. The steak and cheese was ok, not much meat in it so it was mostly bread. The Stromboli was good, and the grilled chicken sub was pretty tasty. read more

We ordered three slices of cheese pizza and a sausage sub. The sub came out first. I had to ask for the slices. Both were merely adequate. The sub was way too saucy. Nice little spot to grab some pizza, pasta or sandwiches. They also offer wings and they are pretty tasty. I really enjoy the pizza. The prices are slightly expensive but everything is up due to Covid. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes! read more

Well I called to order a pizza and I wanted to change a couple things but the guy that answered the phone sounded like he didn't want to be there strike one, then I let him know the online ordering was not working so I had to call, I then went to give him my order then I had to check he was still on the phone, then I went to change some things and click. The guy hung the phone up. I was shocked and very disappointed as this place is right down the street from where we live. Not sure I will go back or order again. We ordered takeout for the first time and we were a little disappointed. The Italian chicken pizza was good but didn't realize when ordering that it was a white pizza. The crust was crisp and delicious though. However, the garlic knots weren't edible...they were so burned. I'm not sure how they thought they were okay to give a customer but the knots had to be thrown away. We got 12 wings and they were okay just not very meaty. If you like spice definitely go with the hot as the mild weren't spicy. I wouldn't suggest the knots or wings to anyone but the pizza was good. read more

We got a cheese pizza and it didn't have great flavor, the sauce was watery. The service was good though.

The food is inconsistent and they always have you waiting longer than they say. I was told 10-15 minutes for a small pizza and fries and waited closer to an hour. I order calamari and it was gummy and cold. If you ask me I would say try Ciao pizza. read more

I came in here with my family on a Monday afternoon. We originally were going to eat at the Mediterranean place a few stores down but they were closed. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered two xl pizzas and a basket of fries to sit in. The food was good. It didn't take long to come out. They were generous with the toppings which were jalapeños and banana peppers. The restaurant was clean, and they had great customer service. The guy with the glasses (never got his name) checked on us twice. I was a tad bit warm inside the restaurant but they had a fun so it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend this place. read more

Had a call in order, they got the order wrong. Then they proceeded to call me "el moyo" which is a slang term that means "nigger."

Mediocre at best. The dough is the best part. Crispiness- good. We had the Meatlovers- pepperoni, ham, bacon. Shouldn't be hard to mess it up- but ham is literally deli ham cut up! Like tiny tiny thin slices deli ham! I could swear the bacon is chunky precooked bacon bits purchased in a bag! Salty and pretty nasty tasting. Pepperoni is just pepperoni. The sauce is sweet and sugary tasting. This truly and sadly is Nothing special and definitely not worth it. Really disappointing and if this is the best Mebane has to offer, it's a sad sad night. Won't even be taking left overs home. Leaving it on the table. Take that back- fiancee taking it to work to sell the slices to get his money back! read more

Me and my family walked in at 2:15 and were told that they weren't going to make us a pepperoni pizza. Initially we asked for the lunch special and we were told it ends at 2, understandable. We proceeded again to ask for just 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and were told they were NOT going to make us a pizza. While there were 2 slices of pepperoni sitting of the counter I was absolutely confused as to why we couldn't have those 2 pieces. Needless to say we will NOT return to this location. This pizza place is amazing! The calzones and Strombolis are just as good as the ones in NY and the food is delicious! If you don't want pizza, try the Franco wrap! The chicken tastes like it is hand breaded, real chicken! They also have garlic knots, pizza, Sicilian pies and other Italian dishes. Highly recommend. read more

I asked for a supreme pizza with NO black olives, get home and there are double black olives. When I called to ask why they did that, he says it's because he makes a lot of pizza. I'm a New Yorker and this is the pizza I've had in North Carolina. I've been very disappointed with the other pizza options in Mebane and I actually think this is some of the best pizza I've had anywhere. Can't speak for any of the other menu items as I've never tried them. read more
