Found this little spot on our way home from the airport, it had positive reviews and we love supporting small businesses! Upon walking in we were greeted and shown to our seats promptly. The server was very kind and courteous and brought our drinks faster than a lamb can shake its tail! However, this is where our story takes a nosedive. I ordered a wake and bake burger prepared medium: a farm fresh burger patty topped with grilled onions, ham, Swiss, a fried egg and a garlic mayo. Sounds like a great time! When our food arrived, I cut into mine only to discover that the burger was way past well done. Okay, I think I can just use the egg yolk for moisture, not too big of a deal. How wrong I was. I appreciate that the cook wanted to prevent me from contracting salmonella from undercooked food, but a fried egg is designed to have a runny yolk (I double checked my culinary definitions and their photos). The server offered to take my burger and remake it, but by that time, my fiancé would either have finished his food or his would have gone cold. So a complete rock-hard place situation. I chose to muddle through and ate as much as I could, but this took the joy out of what should have been a delightful experience. I write this to use as a training opportunity. Never once did a member of management come to speak with us. We did receive a 10% discount, but that was a bit underwhelming considering absolutely nothing about this burger was the way I asked for it to be cooked. In no way would I want to harm small business, but I do want to alert ownership about the poor management during the day. I hope you can address it and find a better training program to ensure the health and sustainability of what has the potential to be a stellar operation! read more

We started with the dirty chips- loaded with cheese and meat with ranch dip.... a must get app. Then we split the 10 wings and a mushroom Swiss burger (with BACON) . The wings were cooked perfectly for us- asked for extra crispy and they delivered! But the game changer was the mango habenero sauce! If you like some spice - and some sweet....don't let this one by! Terrible. Burgers are frozen and taste bland and processed. Why ask how you want it cooked when the only way it came out was well done to hockey puck. My first experience was really bad. I ordered a simple takeout order of a burger and salad with grilled salmon. I was told it would be 15 minutes. After 25 minutes I asked about the status. About 5-10 minutes later, the order came out, but the salad had no salmon. Fixing that took another 15 minutes and the bartender seemed annoyed with me that I was frustrated waiting 45 minutes for a 15 minute order. The food did taste good though. Went with a friend For a quick drink this afternoon. We look at the menu and decided to get a hummingbird which was on the menu for four dollars. When we got the bill it came to $6.40. When we asked why they told us because they didn't have bottles anymore. We told him it doesn't say it's a bottle it says craft beer and it says four dollars. They told us it's not four dollars anymore it's six. We went up to the bartender and told him and he said he was very and I quote sorry ma'am. And offered to do absolutely nothing. We weren't looking for anything other than to pay the price that was on the menu. Never again. read more

Had the Buffalo Bill burger last night. Came out dry, no taste at all though ordered medium well, it was closer to well done. Shaped like the Bubba Burgers you buy and cook at home. A failed choice. Onion rings that ordered with it were good. My wife got the chicken wings, they were 'ok' nothing to brag about. Disappointed, I had heard good things about food. When the Junctipn opened we were excited. I ate there the first week they opened. Food was good, service was excellent but owner not friendly, but who cares. The second time we ordered pizza and salads. The pizza was excellent and the salads were not quite fresh but the server was excellent. The third time we ordered a pasta and salads. The pasta came as Angel Hair and the salads were limp. The waitress said they were no longer providing spaghetti, only Anger Hair. On our way out we saw other diners eating spaghetti. The owner was his usual nonfeindly self. This restaurant went into decline fast so we will wait for it to go out of business and try the replacement restaurant. My wife and I decided to try a new place since it was just us. My wife found this spot on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. We got seated fairly quickly. We enjoyed the ambiance and look of the place. I ordered the bacon mushroom and swiss burger, my wife ordered the pesto chicken panini . My burger did not have a lot of flavor and the patti was something pulled out of the freezer. My wife's sandwich was a lot better and had a lot more flavor than mine. A few weeks back, my family decided to go to this restaurant again after an initial so-so visit. When we arrived, we were blocked from the restaurant and got locked down in a terrible traffic jam due to a X-mas parade. The following week, we got there at 8:02 and we were told they had closed 2 minutes earlier due to terrible weather conditions (we drove 20 minutes to get there. The roads were fine and all the other restaurants were still open). After eating there a few nights back, I realized that the thwarted visits may have been the UNIVERSE trying to save us! I ordered a eggplant parm sub (I am a vegetarian. After being completely underwhelmed by the pizza on the last visit, I got online to see what veggie choices they had, and there was only a few). I was informed that the sub was NO LONGER AVAILABLE even though it was on both the online menu AND the menu I held in my hands.) My option were a veggie burger made out of sweet potato (I hate sweet potatoes) and a grilled cheese sandwich! Out of options, I went with the grilled cheese. We ordered tea and a potato chip appetizer. After an eternity without the waitress returning, I had to go up to the front to get some more tea from the bar. When the chips arrived, they were not crisp and had a gummy jerky type of consistency. When the waitress returned, I demonstrated by holding a chip sideways and we all watched it droop towards the ground. I requested she bring the platter to the manager so he could see for himself what his kitchen was serving. She ignored my request and left them on the table. Later when she she returned with our food (immediately had to send wife's cold fries back), she asked if we were through with the chips. I once again requested that she bring the order to the manager so he could see firsthand what kind of atrocities his kitchen was serving up there. The manager never came to talk to us and then when we got the bill, we were still charged for them. Our son ordered the gluten free pizza and said the frozen ones we get are much better than theirs. WHAT A MESS! If you are a small town restaurant charging big city prices, you really owe it to your customers to deliver high quality food! If you enjoy terrible to lackluster food at premium prices, BOY, this is the place for you! read more

We are frequent diners at this restaurant but very disappointed in our last visit on Thursday night. Ordered parmesan garlic wings and I'm not sure what happened but they were terrible(usually awesome) wasnt offered any other wings when we brought her attention to it. Also ordered the grilled chicken pesto sand and the cheesy grilled chicken sand. The pesto chicken bread was toasted so hard I couldn't eat it and the grilled chicken sand had so little chicken that you couldn't taste it. Would have thought manager would have come out to explain but never saw him. Not sure we will go back unless we order pizza which is usually very good read more

Whatever happened with honest service and posting accurate prices? Was with Sue B who wrote previous review regarding price on menu being incorrect and being charged the "new" price that had not been updated on the menu. Was not pointed out at time of order or when tab was presented. Explanation that price had changed and menus had not been updated should be the responsibility of the business, not the customer. Ok, this is the thing....I've been going to this little restaurant for quite some time and I've never been disappointed. Their service is a little on the slow side, but the food is great. Tonight, like any other Friday night, my family decided to go. My daughter-in-law and son told us that she was pregnant and we wanted to celebrate. Like many other Alamance Co residents, I purchased the Attractions Dining & Value Coupon book. This is a coupon book full of various coupons for a huge variety of retailers in the Alamance County area. Sooo, as you might can guess, I wanted to use the coupons that were provided for Junction Hwy 70. I had 2 coupons. The first one stated that it was a buy one pasta or plate, get one free. The other was buy one pizza or calzone, get one free. They both said "limit one coupon per visit". My son and his wife wanted some of the pasta plates and my husband &I wanted calzone. Easy peasy, right? There was nothing on the coupon that stated it was only applicable to one table. I asked the waitress is she would reconsider. She said no. So, being the parents that we are, we let my son and his wife use their coupon. In my heart, this isn't fair. Yes, this little hometown restaurant is good, but it is a little on the pricey side. Why wouldn't you accept my additional coupon? We were there to celebrate and the mood was dampened by the denial of the coupon. I decided not to talk to the manager because I did not want to be rejected again. I feel like this little restaurant should support the town that has made them successful. My Advice? I saw this recommended multiple times on Facebook as an "upscale restaurant." I have no idea where that impression came from, as it's a very casual place. Our waitress sat down at our booth to take our order, which I thought was pretty unprofessional, but she was nice. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich with house chips, and my husband ordered shrimp scampi. My sandwich was sloppy and hard to eat, but the flavor was pretty good, and the chips were good too. My husband's shrimp scampi was bland, flavorless, and disappointing. Pasta dishes usually come with at least a slice of garlic bread at other restaurants, but this one didn't. He was eating off of my plate because he wanted food that tasted like something. Overall I give it 3 stars because my food was fine, and it's possible that my husband just ordered the worst thing on the menu and that everything else here is great. read more

Wife and I tried 70 because it was close to the house. It was once Pomadora Italian before being bought and converted to junction. The place was given a complete overall and really the place looks great. We came around lunch the cobb salad and the burger were great, the wait staff were attentive and from where you sit in the restaurant you can watch the train pass through. It's really a nice addition to downtown Mebane. Some might want to over review this place, but you always have a few shrills who ain't satisfied with anything in life. My family and I heard all the hype and decided to give this place a try. I wish i had my money and time back. The pasta dishes were just plain awful! The chicken fettuccine alfredo was disguisting with a grainy sauce and brown chicken pieces. The chicken parm sub was obviously made from frozen chicken and wasn't half as good as the place down the street. The burger was just OK. Regardless of what we ordered they brought out whatever they wanted. Asked for italian dressing and received ranch. Asked for american cheese and got greasy colby. The waitress worked hard, but rarely checked on us. When we told her about the inedible chicken fettuccine alfredo she seemed surprised and bothered. We usually give a restaurant a couple of tries, but this is a 3 strike visit. The prices are inflated for what you receive. Next time we'll go to the family restaurant in the other street. Stopped in for lunch today. Service was quick and friendly. I got the pimento cheese burger with homemade onion rings. The burger was great and the bun was awesome too. They get them from a bakery somewhere in Durham. Portions were huge. I was stuffed. It looks like they have a good selection of bottled beers and wine. Looking forward to heading back for dinner soon to try out the NY style pizza. Only complaint I have is that the bar stools are to short for the bar, I had to stand to eat but I'm sure they can fix that easily enough. All of the staff was really helpful and attentive. This was my first visit, after seeing recommendations from many others as to the quality of their burgers. My overall review of this restaurant is mixed. The appetizer sampler came out missing some of the assorted items and had to be corrected. The fried calamari was way over-cooked and most of it was is a single fried glob on the plate. The other parts of the starter tasted fine, even if a little over-cooked. My party had two burgers and a pasta meal. The quality of the burgers was all we had hoped for and made up for the poor appetizer. The pasta meal was excellent as well, with the shrimp cooked perfectly. All portions were ample with plenty left to take home. I will definitely be giving this place another try soon, and if the few food quality issues we had get better, I can see this place becoming a regular stop for us. read more

This is a dope place to eat if you want greasy pasta, hair in your food, and crappy service!! ....... Honestly though what happened to this place? They have been my favorite restaurant in Mebane for a long time and my family and I have been regular customers for years. Sadly ever since COVID their service and quality have gone in the toilet. Tonight my husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and there was no steak on it. Seriously! My order was also completely wrong. We have both recently found hair in our food from there on separate occasions (GAG!!) and I've recently had to throw out pasta that was too gross and greasy to eat. Do they use any seasonings anymore? The burgers lack any flavor and are usually too tough to chew and the French fries and house chips are never fresh and usually cold when we get them. :( The people who work in the front are incredibly rude and lazy. They do not care about their customers. The bar is also in a terrible location and it's not uncommon to go inside and be crowded in between people waiting to pick up food and others standing at the mini bar (where only 3 people can even stand ) drinking and being obnoxious towards other customers. I would be so embarrassed by that if I were the owner. Also you would think adding an operator line would help for call in orders but it's made it worse. Last time I had to call SEVEN times before I ever got to speak to a real person and place an order. If you are that busy then you need to hire some new people in the kitchen and the front house, expand to a bigger location and get a hostess- take some notes from Chili's or Applebee's. Today I had friend's visiting from Tampa and told them about the amazing food at junction. We got take out so we could eat it at the park while the kids played. I am and always have been a huge fan of junction. Today was disappointing. I ordered a charbroiled chicken wrap with ranch on the side they gave me Buffalo sauce. My friends kids burger was burnt. No silverware included in the bag, she had a salad. My friends husband ordered a side salad, no side salad in the bag, Only hers. The kids shrimp wasn't good at all and they love popcorn shrimp. My husband went back to tell them what happened and ask for the missing items. The girl in the front didn't say a word to him and seemed irritated with him asking for the missing items. She brought him the stuff and he left. Good service goes a LONG way. I was embarrassed that I raved about this place and they had a very mediocre disappointing experience. Definitely won't be taking friends or family here. I want to be able to recommend a place I love and not be embarrassed about it. read more
