The junction is your classic dive bar. Karaoke, cold drinks, great food, and a guaranteed good time. The bartenders are all amazing, especially Renee. The food is pretty amazing, classic bar food. When it's not karaoke night, they have live bands or one in house juke box machine. It's a great spot and truly some of the best vibes around. Highly recommend a great night at the junction. The food and Karoke is always great here, I haven't been here in over 3 years because I moved out of state for a bit, but I was so excited and decided to bring a few of my new friends in as I always have, and was bragging about the place, but when I went to order drinks, the bartenders had strange energy and facial expressions, they'd look right at me, and walk past me and not even bother to ask what I'd like, it felt as if it was inconvenient for them to have to make me a drink at all, that I was happily willing to pay for and I consider myself a great tipper, I still tipped well, and I'm pretty sure they double charged me for a drink, because my friend got me one, and I only ordered two, there was 4 billed at first and I informed them that I only drank 3 total so there shouldn't be 4, so they took one off the bill, and since my friend got one for me, I would assume she paid for it, I will double check with her that she didn't get billed for the other drink, but it didn't make sense, either way, I personally only ordered 2 drinks for myself and then a round of shots for my friends. But I still payed for 3 drinks and 3 shots, when I feel it should have only been 2 drinks... I will revise this if I find that she didn't also get billed for the 3rd drink that I had. Anyways, we did still have a great time because of the Karoke Dj, I was very happy that he remembered my name and everything after 3yrs, it made me feel special, and I was also with some great people who made the experience so much better, but the vibes from the two women working the bar did bother me, and it detoured me from wanting to buy more liquor. It's just a bummer because I enjoy showing people my regular spots, and it's disappointing when even they felt like the women were being rude, it's a little embarrassing. I probably won't be coming back tho until they have some new staff, they clearly don't enjoy what they do, and that's not really my problem but I do wish the best for them, and had a good time despite their crappy energy. read more

Have been twice and the food was really good, we had burgers and the chicken sandwich.

I ordered chicken wings and asked for the hottest sauce. The sauce I got was still quite mild. But that wasn't what bothered me. The first wing that I bit into was still bloody pink in the middle. I would have given them 1 star just based on food quality but I ordered a burger instead and it was fairly good. They still didn't comp my meal though. So gross. I started by asking the bartender what was good and she responded that it's steak night. Not a recommendation, just a fact. Steak smelled weird and was gray and incredibly tough. Veg was gooey and gross. I've never left that much uneaten food before. My bad for expecting more, but a warning to anyone looking for a beer and dinner. We literally saw people grooming each other. I was meeting a couple girlfriends a the bar to fight, I got there first. I walked up to the bar and no one was there, no bug deal, there was a paper menu tucked on he counter. I grabbed it to look to see if here was somehow g to order to eat before my friends arrived. The bartender appeared charged up to m, snatched it out of my hand and dude said that menu isn't available to you. do you have one that is? She slammed it down in front of me. I stopped by a few nights ago for a few drinks while visiting family in the area. I really enjoy checking out local bars, and The Junction did not disappoint! The barmaids were quick and friendly, the beer was cold and reasonably priced, and although I did not eat anything the food looked really good This is a great place to interact with the locals, which were all friendly. Being from NE, I wasn't even offended by the guy decked out in Seahawks gear and matching car parked in the lot! They had karaoke the night I went and I had a great time watching all the local "talent" sing their tunes. I will go back when in the area. read more

Note to the bartenders, if you want to make tips without crawling on old men's laps (which was happening when I walked in) serve your patrons... never surprises me what happens in a bar when the owner is away (hospital). Took 15m to get the bartender to get me pull tabs (not cause she was busy serving) because she was to busy socializing while the head bartender was drifting her butt across men's laps. This is a good spot for a cold drink and typically a bite to eat. Unfortunately they were poorly prepared for the crowd last night (26 Jul) even though they knew to expect a large group. Food was taking over 40 mins to come out. My friend who is diabetic had taken his shot approximately 10 minutes after ordering but when his food still had not arrived a half our later his blood sugar levels were getting too low. I tried to explain this to the female bartender who, for lack of a better term, was very bitchy and said there's nothing she could do about it. I asked her if she really wanted a medical emergency in the bar. She was completely unsympathetic. Like she couldn't have gotten the guy some crackers or something. This is a Sports Bar? We've come to the Junction a few times to watch Seahawks games. The result has been the same every time. The owner, a crusty old codger, refuses to turn up the volume on the ONE tv out of a dozen side by side, that shows the Hawks games. To be fair, it is the largest tv except the projection screen one in the back. He says if he turns up the volume people will just talk louder and he has to keep turning it up. So apparently we don't get to hear the game. The distraction of the multiple other games on the tvs on both sides and around the room keeps you from being able to even hardly view the Hawks game, you definitely cannot hear it at all. Granted it is cool he streams the other games for those that are not Hawks fans, but c'mon, Is this the PNW or not? There is one faded old large projection screen in the back of the room he also puts the Hawks games on, but trust me, no sound there either and the picture is so faded out you just can't see it. Service: The servers are mostly rude with a high sense of entitlement in the evenings, in other words, we don't really have to serve you with anything but attitude, we sit all the time with an empty drink - with the exception of the newest girl, Amy, she's amazing and they don't put any other staff on with her for a huge room full of people on Sunday for football. She basically runs from table to table, gets all the orders right but the cook is so dang slow, and of course if it is that busy, guess what - as the owner you would put more people on to help out, right? nope. One girl did eventually come in for less than a half hour during the 4 hours of the game, and then left and she hardly lifted a finger to help out the only other server. Yup, I've seen her in the evenings before, same attitude. Poor Amy, I wonder how long she will last. I tipped her huge for the effort. Food: typical bad bar food. They pretend to have a breakfast but we ordered the ham and cheese omelet which comes with hash browns. The hash browns were completely gray and disgusting with old grease. The omelet was rubbery with weird pieces of old ham inside and the cheese was sprinkled on top and not melted in. so strange. One of our party ordered a side order of toast. He got ONE piece of bread, barely toasted for $2.00. Never ordering breakfast here ever again. so gross. Billing: our bill has NEVER been right here. It is always overcharged with something (trust me we keep track here) and we have to "discuss" - read that as argue - with the owner because all charges go through one register. Believe it or not, the customer is never right here, you end up paying for stuff you didn't order, more drinks that you had and somehow the happy hour prices aren't put on there either. Go figure. Just bad business all around. I doubt we return. We gave it a couple good shots as a place to go to see the Hawks game (a few evening games and one morning game), and we watch every single game, preferring to go out to watch and be with other fans. It probably won't be this place though it is close to us. Worth the extra drive to go elsewhere. We're done giving it chances. Amy dear, find another job somewhere else. I had the taco salad and it was awful. Most importantly the taco shell was nearly burned, certainly overcooked so it had a bitter taste. Half the fun of this style salad is eating the shell. Awful. The salad was mostly large chunks of the worst part of a head of iceberg lettuce. Not shreaded and certainly not sliced; just chopped in big chunks. The toppings were pretty skimpy, other than the black olives. Order something else. I stopped by because this place has a blues jam session every Thursday @7pm, hosted by the Blues Bentley band. They are great and this is wonderful entertainment at no cover charge. Seems to be flying under the radar, as not many folks are showing up for the music. That is shame! Give Thurs. evening a try. Service on 2/12/20 sucked , Pizza Night . I come here a few times a week for food and drinks . The Bar tender was helping a few tables away from where I sat , He walked past me didn`t say anything and never came back , He helped others and some came in after me . The waitress went past me 5 times delivering orders to people and stopped by other tables checking on them . She finally did ask me what I wanted and had the male bartender bring it to me . They told me they were out of one of the toppings for the pizza I wanted , they walked away ,I had to ask them for a menu of the pizza , My drink went empty for awhile while other patrons drinks were getting filled without waiting . I`ve been here lots of times when busy but have always had good service , I don`t think the team that was on 2/12/20 do very good when busy. I leave a good tip . This was my 3rd time here.The bartenders told me the owners loved dogs so they were permitted as long as they were calm.I was so happy to hear this with my Shepard pup (5 Months).I always order him a hamburger patty to eat while I have my meal.Tonite, the owner approached me at my table.Apparently,it is not ok for dogs to eat their hamburger from the plate on the floor? He actually asked me NOT to bring my dog in again...though he was quiet the whole visit.I explained that his employees let my dog hv a burger the same way the last 2 visits and told me he was pro dog as he had lost his own a while back. I suggested he tell his employees his rules..how was I to know? He then said to just not let him do it again.For you to approach me as if I was a bad seed in your bar was a complete unprofessional insult.I will never return and will share reviews with friends, business partners and social media. read more
