This is by far my favorite bar in town. My boyfriend and I moved here in December and every time we have entered a bar in town, everyone stares at you in a disgusted manner. This bar was the first where we felt like we were welcomed. I think Katie has served us the 3 times we have come in and she makes amazing fruity drinks. I've had the Grilled Turkey Swiss, the Skater, and the Buffalo Chicken wrap. The wrap was my favorite. Also, their ranch is my favorite. read more

Did not accept my Vermont drivers license only because it is vertical. Vermont licenses are good until you are 22. They said it's a house rule. Not impressed. I had just biked 110 miles and just wanted a burger and a beer and no trouble, got thrown out of the bar because they couldn't comprehend a vertical ID. read more

Found this place accidentally, and the stand out was our bartender/server/cook Sam! That girl was working her butt off and kept a smile on her face. For the rush she was dealing with there should've been at least 2 bartenders and a cook, and she did everything herself. Our food was wonderful and drinks were great! I ordered nachos. As a vegetarian normally a restaurant give some sort of discount or extra cheese or something if they remove the meat from an item. When I got my nachos there was hardly any cheese on them, and were chips were chewy like they were either stale or microwaved. All that was on them was jalapenos, a little bit of salsa and then an eighth of a cup of salsa for an entire plate of stale chips. I asked for sour cream and guacamole and was charged an extra $2. For this entire shitshow my bill was $14. Maybe people only eat here because they're drunk? I couldn't believe that I had just paid $14 for that. I almost sent them back when I thought they were around $7 because they were so. I didn't want to cause a scene so I didn't. You can imagine my surprise when I saw how much they charged me. I expressed my shock and disbelief to the bartender who is unconcerned. She had an opportunity to make the situation right to somebody who is spent money in there before and would have probably come back again. She chose to charge me $14 for some chips and salsa. It's not a horrible atmosphere so I might still meet my friend here for drinks, but I will never order from here again. read more

The Market Street Pub is one of the better places to hang out in Chehalis. A full service bar and grill, if you want it, they probably have it! On Sundays you can watch any NFL game you want on the vast array of TVs located all over the walls. I've been here a few times to watch a Steelers game with my "from PIttsburgh" buddies, when the game was not on the local channels. read more

The CDC needs to go into this bar and evaluate. It's not clean or sanitized. I was told the owner does not care about the cleanliness of the bar. I got food poisoning or it was the Long Island Iced tea I got that was completely wrong I will never go back into this bar. It is trash . I elaborate "trash" oh and the service was horrible I had to ask for a menu. And waited 10 minutes to even be asked what we wanted to drink. Also, wouldn't give us a drink we asked for. I would give this about 2.5 stars ONLY because the bartenders and waitresses are really nice. The food is not very good though. Tried the buffalo chicken wrap & BLT. BLT was better than the wrap. Come here for drinks and to watch sports, but grab a bite before you come. Their totals were the only thing that were alright. Other reviews say they have good burgers, so if I do eat here again, i will try that & update this review. read more

Stopped in for lunch. Very good beer selection for a small bar. Had the Quesadillas. Excellent. Probably the best Quesadillas I've had. One note of caution. If you aren't big on jalapeno ask them to bring it down a notch. read more

The food tastes good, also the prices, but... The salad / taco / potato bar always runs low / out. The men's bathroom is kinda gross. It as 2 urinals and a toilet, and no stalls or dividers. The door knob is also broken so you can't lock it, so if you have to poop have fun being face to schlong with the guy at the urinal. read more

Saturday at 11:40something, after an awesome visit to the Vintage Motorcycle Museum, I was walking up and down the street with 9 of my friends and family. We were hungry....nothing was open yet. A guys sees us and asks "are you looking for food?", "YES!". He pops his head in and comes back out saying the bartender is there and we can come on in. Great, we order a round of bloody marys and a few pitchers of beer. He takes our food order and in conversation mentions he just works security there on the weekends and doesn't usually wait tables or help mix drinks. Well you'd never know it. He was great, the drinks were just right, the food was FANTASTIC...all 10 of us were talking about how everything was perfect and we all agreed we will be back! read more

We are from Portland and appreciate the food. That should give you a good idea, and they clearly work hard as a small business and make it happen. My group of 4 came in at 5:30 on Sat 2/11/17. Had an hour to kill waiting for reservations at Mackinaws next door. My table got served 1 round of drinks along with menus to order some appetizers. Server never came back. The place was far from full so not really sure what the deal was. Paid and left and took our business down the street to The Shire. Spent 100$ on drinks and appetizers there instead. Wont be back to Market St. Pub thats for sure. read more

We just stopped in for a drink and bite to eat. We left after a beer because there was no way we were going to eat there. The bartender was less than thrilled we asked for menus. Never once did he come and ask what we wanted to eat instead he had conversations (to people who obviously always are there) about hating republicans and Every other word was the F word. I don't enjoy leaving less than stellar reviews, but I think I must. We arrived at around 1 p.m. on Sunday and the only customer in the place. We were just passing through and needed something to eat. The food left a lot to be desired. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which had potential. The bread, meat and cheese were good. The green peppers were still quite crunchy and really needed quite a bit more time on the grille. The fries were so crunchy and over cooked as to be almost uneatable. My husband had the shrimp platter. His fries were the same. His shrimp were nothing special, small, had been frozen breaded, and had also spent too much time in the fryer. We pointed this out to the server shortly after receiving our food. She was nice enough and said the cook was having trouble with timing but they were working on it. We didn't ask for a new batch of fries or any other remedy, but none came. When we left, I smiled my most friendly smile and repeated the complaint. She said she was sorry and we left. read more

This used to be a good place to go for lunch. Then they sold the business and had to take it back and it has never had the quality or service of before. The last time I was in there were 8 to 10 customers and it took 45 minutes to get a cheeseburger and fries. I only have an hour for lunch so I told them to make it to go. The "cook" came out with the Styrofoam box and informed "We cook to order". No, she can only do one order at a time, the previous Lady working the lunch shift understood that LUNCH is time sensitive not a social event. I have not darkened the doorway since. read more

Great breakfast on Sunday morning while visiting Chehalis. My husband had the prime rib special for $11 and it was nicely seasoned, generous portion of beef cooked medium rare. I ordered biscuits and gravy for $5 The thick, savory gravy smothered a cheesy biscuit. YUM! My Bloody Mary was seasoned just right for me, but my husband thought it was better after adding a bit of Worcestershire to spice it up. The service was quick and friendly. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap, including my favorite- Mac n Jack African Amber. read more

We had received an enthusiastic recommendation from the barkeeper on Friday nite (Drew) regarding the great soccer atmosphere on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I came back on Saturday morning with my friends in tow (4 of us) after I waxed poetic to them about this place. We got there at the posted opening time and unfortunately no one was there. Several people came and went also expecting them to be open for the mornings soccer games...(no luck for any of us). I was massively embarrassed as we had all left our wives and girlfriends at home for a boys morning out. we drove 30 miles to this place and even called their number at 10:37AM...still no lights on at the pub. I will probably never go to a place again that can't keep regular hours. I guess we will have to find a new place to watch the Premier League games as this place does not really care about opening at their posted times. read more
