Upside: Junio is a master at highlights. Honestly, this place could be the talk of the town with a little organization. The Brazilian years of experience that Junio has is unmatched and he gives perfect hair at its best. I Loved how my hair turned out several times in a row. Junio is very friendly and many other Brazilians come here to see him. Prices were great. They offer basic coffee and snacks at times. Super nice people. Downside: DO NOT schedule online!!! Don't use the websites scheduler. Everyone of the other stylists confirm that Junio does not do well with this. If you see him, he will schedule you via text and this will ensure he knows about it. I learned this the hard way. Junio finally came but did not know about the appointment that was auto scheduled and had to try to fit me in around other people after I waited for a very long time. I would not have waited but I needed the appointment that particular day. Junio was very very nice and always does a good job. But I learned, ONLY schedule by personal text. Omg best hair salon I've ever visited. Junio is super talented. I kept showing other salons the effect I wanted and they frequently said I needed 3 sessions which would've amounted to about $600-800. Because I only wanted to dish out for one session, sometimes I would come home with copper hair and try to make the best of it I showed Junio what I wanted though and he used layering strategies to create nuances in my highlights in one session. There are hints of red and gold and the color appears gradually rather than weird strips. To give context, Junio is from Brazil (born and raised) and they really know hair if you can't tell already. My rating is strictly based on my last several visits. I've been coming here for some time now and I only get trims, but after this last hair cut I'm really disappointed. When I got home I had to rewash my hair and trim the dead ends myself because he blew out my hair and the dead ends were still visible. This is terrible service considering I just payed him $50 to do it. I have 2c/3a curly hair and this isn't a cute look. My hair is damaged and frizzy from the extreme high heat that he used with the dryer. He used a small amount of poor quality oil without properly distributing it throughout my hair. He then passed me on to someone else to finish my blow dry that didn't know what they were doing so he can take his next client. This is especially frustrating as he was 20 minutes late getting to me and I was 15 minutes early to my appointment. For the record, he's always late to his appointments. As a salon owner, you shouldn't always be late with your clients and should never let your clients walk out with frizzy hair. Its disrespectful of their time and it's a representation of your business. Thankfully because of this experience, I am now learning to cut my own hair saving me wasted time and money. So I guess there's a positive that came from this. There was one reviewer who claimed that the salon is very clean, but that's not what it is. It has an open feel...think loft. I have been getting my haircut here for a couple years . Junio does a great job He is super busy so be ready to schedule an appointment In advance . He is very talented he can cut your hair in many different styles and really knows what he is doing . He takes his time to delivery quality my hair cut will usually take at least 30 minutes . I would describe him more as a stylist instead of a barber . After getting my haircut with him I don't trust anyone else with my hair Because the results are just not the same . I moved in this area a few months ago and wanted to cut my hair (just need to cut with #2.5 whole head, normally take less than 5 mins) and this shop is very close to my house, walking distance. I checked in around 7:30pm a month ago and I was told that they all full booked with appointments. I got it , no appointment at late night, busy day , I just left. I try to go there again today around 2 pm and same thing, need appointment with them for their service. They didn't even ask how I want to cut my hair. I am glad that they are super busy with their repeat customers and I feel sorry that they don't care new customer. I don't care about this shop is good or not , just want to cut with #2.5 the whole head. I rather drive nearest Supercuts without APPOINTMENT for my easiest hair cut and willing to pay double for the service for my tight schedule on my dayoff. read more

Don't bother. Worst haircut I've EVER had! I spent 8 months growing my hair out but I was getting ready to take a big family vacation and my hair was in dire need of cleaning up. I told the guy cutting my hair (owner) that I want to keep the back as long as possible (just below my ears) but the sides and front can be a little shorter. I didn't want a buzz cut with clippers...I needed to just blend my hair. I have curly hair in the back and wavy in front which is challenging. Cutting it while wet is deceiving because it drys way shorter than if it is cut while dry. I brought my gf with me to express my needs in case I forgot. She went out of her way to ask him to cut my hair dry so that he knows where the curls will end up. He got a little irritated at this and said he's been cutting hair for 20+ years. To make a long story short. He cut all of my hair off except some scraggly pieces in the back and my bangs. Then he blow dried my hair to make me look like I should be in a punk rock band. I never blow dry my hair and I told him this. When he wheeled my chair around and I saw the scraggly pieces of hair and the rest of my head cut down to about a #2 clipper length I almost cried. I couldn't wait to get out of that chair. He was too arrogant to listen to ANY suggestions. Don't waste your money. I'm still trying to fix my uneven hair. I immediately had to cut the scraggly pieces and try to even out the uneven long bangs he left (the only long hair I had left). Now I have to start all over growing my hair out. 8 months of growth and a family trip ruined. Oh and don't bother with the online appointment scheduler. it doesn't work and they act irritated when you show up. I had to wait another 20 minutes even though I made an online appointment.
