We order from Junior's pretty often and normally enjoy it. We love a good NYC-style pizza, and while prices have gone up over the years (which is understandable), that hasn't bothered us. This last experience, however, was incredibly frustrating. We ordered an extra-large cheese pizza for pickup. We're vegetarian and had two very hungry kids with us. When we got the pizza and the kids grabbed slices, we quickly noticed there was pepperoni on it. We called the restaurant right away and were asked to send a picture. We did. Then they questioned it and asked for another photo, which felt unnecessary. We never got to speak with a manager, received no apology, and were not offered a refund. Instead, we were told to call back in 15 minutes then waited closer to 30 only to be given the option of driving back for a replacement or getting a discount sometime in the future. It was Christmas Eve, and we weren't about to drive back out with kids. The whole situation left a really bad impression. Mistakes happen, but the way it was handled especially on a holiday was disappointing and honestly pretty upsetting. read more

I came in and made an order to go. When I went to pay the owner berated me for using a credit card. He said when you pay with a credit card instead of cash I don't make any money. Way to lose a customer over a 78 cent credit card fee. Never ever have I been berated for using a credit card before. It's common practice. read more

Honestly this was a pretty bad experience. They told me my pizzas would be ready in about 30 minutes, so I showed up around that time. When I walked in they said give them 5 more minutes, so I waited. Then 5 minutes turned into 20, then 30, and at that point I realized they basically forgot I was even there. I ended up waiting a full hour for a simple order. Nobody updated me, nobody apologized, nothing. Super frustrating. I'm giving this place 1 star because this was ridiculous. Whoever is the manager or cook on Sunday night at 2am suuuucks, doesn't pay attention to directions and over cooks chicken to ashes when u ask for well done. Junior's Pizza & More is located basically on the corner of University Boulevard and Dean Road. I have tried here several times and also tried their long gone location on East Colonial Drive (it was in the Winn-Dixie shopping plaza) and I just have never found that Junior's Pizza & More has offered anything more than a mediocre slice of pizza. Junior's Pizza & More has the vibe of a neighborhood pizzeria. Nothing wrong with that. The staff was friendly enough. It is just that the pizza is at best mediocre. I honestly cannot give Junior's Pizza & More my recommendation. I have tried then multiple times over the years and the pizza has remained consistently mediocre. We have some very good pizzerias in the Orlando, Florida area. Unfortunately, Junior's Pizza & More is not one of those great pizzerias. read more

On the 28th of March 2025, called to order a meat lovers pizza and Sham answered the phone and she seemed lost in the conversation. As I waited for my order, the phones were ringing constantly and Sham looked lost. She also was the server as well as the order taker hence why there was a "hiring servers" sign outside. This place sure has gone downhill since being a customer for over a year. This is the last time we will buy anything from here because even the pizza tasted very odd and different from before as well as the crust being the width of a tortilla. Ambiance: small location. Clean and not crowded. Food: got steak and cheese sub, pizza and wings. All were good and hot. Particularly the steak and cheese was great. We decided to try this pizza place close to our new home - we kept seeing it every time we passed by and I eventually decided to search it and read the reviews on Yelp and google. Once I saw it had good reviews, we ended up going for it. When we went inside to pick up our order and it literally gave us New York vibes!!!!! We loved it we honestly felt back at home going in! Junior's in a great local pizza place. I come here often for lunch because of the location, great specials and wonderful people. The pizza is NY style thin crust and it's best when it's super hot and fresh out of the oven. I also like to eat it with minimal toppings otherwise it does get soggy. The inside is pretty small so you're better off getting your pie as a carry out order if you're dining with family. My daughter is not a pizza fan, so we will often order her pasta dishes and she loves them and their garlic knots. I've had their eggplant parm sub, which is pretty average but it hits the spot when you have a craving. read more

The food was good, a little cold, the service was terrible. I ordered online for delivery at 720. Given a delivery time of 820. At 840, I call and ask if the delivery has left yet. They say I haven't ordered anything from them. I then asked them why my credit card was charged 59.18. I was told it must be another pizza place. I insisted they made a mistake and asked them to check again. They finally found my order and admited they overlooked it. They said they could expedite it and get it out in 45 minutes. I suggested they could add a soft drink or something to make up for the poor service. Food arrived 55 minutes later, no extras and not hot. me and my other half have been ordering from here for the last 3 years, easily. never had any issues with them before.had a friendly, polite young lady answering phones,and a young man,(very polite and courteous)as well. no issues. ever. but as always, things change. the last 2 months or so have been nothing but a horrible experience. received a philly cheese steak with lettuce and tomato. lettuce was black and the meat was burnt as well. another incident was an order of two philly cheese steak subs. the meat on both was burnt. so we called and spoke to the mgr. he was very understanding,and gave us a credit for the amount of th two subs that were simply atrocious. they following friday we decided to use the credit. well , that didn't work. gave us a hard time. put on some other dude who you can barely understand. claiming to be the owner. after a few minutes of dispute with him,, i said the hell with it . again, last weekend,we called at 9:30pm. the very first question we asked was if they were still taking delivery orders. the lady on the phone (who has no clue what she is doing by the way) replies yes. takes our info,and order,and then proceeded to inform us that they were not taking delivery orders at the time. what kind of shit is that? you close at 10:00pm. on friday and saturday,(the two busiest days of the week). if you close at 10,then you should honor orders until 10. regardless of delivery or pickup. tnoght we decided to give them one more chance. well, they blew that all to hell as well. one sub was missing the lettuce and tomatoes. and the onion rings,... i could play ring toss or frisbee with them. burnt to a crisp. the service here has really deteriated rapidly. we are very unsatisfied with the overall service of this restaurant over the last 2 -3 months. in my opinion. bring back the staff that got their shit right,or close your doors. in order to make money, you have to have quality service all the way around. fix it,or your profits will begin to dissapate. we will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. too bad. once i figure out how to add a picture to this i will. trust me. it will only be of the onion rings. they will say it all. disappointed in union park. read more

I noticed this restaurant sitting lonely on Dean Rd for quite some time now. Finally got a chance to try it a week ago and it was pretty damn good. My friends and I shared an 18 inch Margerita Pizza and it was great. Not "blow your mind" great, but suffice to say, we were happy. Even though it's a delivery/take out place, they also have a bunch of tables inside and a TV so it's a good place to dine in too. The menu is diverse with all kinds of subs, pastas, pizzas, calzones, strombolis, etc. The pizza was pretty good, so I'm optimistic about the rest of their food. I also tried a cannoli for dessert and it was fantastic. If you live near this place, take advantage of their free delivery because they have a diverse menu with good prices. Not having to pay that delivery charge is a HUGE plus, but of course you need to tip the delivery guy. read more

Should have known what we were in for when we saw Pepsi products. This may stop us from trying other joints that yelpers like. Picked up BBQ wings and a pepperoni pizza. The wings were good, the pizza however not so good. Had to use three paper napkins to sap up the oil that was on each slice. Even after that it still had plenty of grease, the pizza itself was almost tasteless, if not for the table top seasoning. Within 5 minutes one in our group was sick, it took me about 15 minutes to rush to the bathroom. It may be the cheese they use called Grande (I am pretty sure I need to avoid this product now) or just the fact that it was loaded with oil. I may never know, I just know I do not like that much oil period. The sauce they used had no taste as though all it was just smashed tomatoes and water. Will not be going back there, and would not recommend the pizza if you have a sensitive stomach. Prices were on the high side. I know others have said they had 2 cheese and drink on weekdays for under $3.00 those days are gone. Even their special was over priced to me. If not over priced then industry standard at best. I am starting to question establishments that have a yelp sticker on their door at best this was average, at worse below average. Tip: No WIFI here read more

A few of us work nearby and found this gem on Yelp. The pizza was really good. For me, everything revolves around crust. And the crust was really tasty, soft in the middle and crunchy around the edges. Ingredients seemed fresh and the cheese was nice. The best part of the pizza was the fact it was not smothered in grease. Too often, the quality of pepperoni is not good and way too greasy. I've been a longtime customer of Juniors pizza. I really enjoy the food and the wonderful staff, but my latest visit to this location may have changed my mind. Atmosphere: Horrible! When we entered the restaurant, we saw a large party of employees at the last table. They were more or less yelling at each other for the entire half an hour I was there. Even though I was at one of the farthest tables away, I could hear every word they were saying. Here are some of my favorite shouts: "I don't want to get a four leaf clover[tattoo] that says mom" "If there's a house fire, go and get my mom's ashes." "We are going to Vegas, getting pizza, and getting married." Needless to say it was a short visit. Service: FANTASTIC! Our server, Kathy, is always great. It was a pleasure to see her again! Food: Good, but not great. We asked for our pizza well done, but it was barely cooked. I'm not sure that is the normal though, because the employees working were probably distracted and talking to the off duty ones. We give up. We have given them several chances to follow a simple instruction "don't slice the pizza". An hour later, the pizza arrives sliced, undercooked, and without a piece of parchment paper between the pie and the box.
