I chatted with the barista, he was super nice and had some time to chat, so talked coffee and what they were brewing, which was the house blend and a single origin, I asked for one of each. The single origin was light and fruity as I'd expect, nice acidity and a crisp finish, whereas the house blend, their Deviation Blend, had a stronger body and less acidity, but still managed to get in some good notes of dried fruit and a nutty flavor. Both were perfectly pulled, with nary a bitter or sour note to be found. All in all, a great little quick trip for coffee, a place I'd definitely go to again.

I have never gone here on a day where the workers gave an off vibe, it's always smiles and conversation; I guess that's the perk of having closing early jobs? Let there be no doubt: this place is no nonsense when it comes to cultivating the best coffee beverage out there. There's a nice retail area if you need to take anything to go. Points to the barista who understood the request for a pinch of salt and confirmed that regular table salt was acceptable. My sister got a sugar free half sweet caramel decaf americano with heavy cream. There is seating on the ground floor and upstairs. The place was a delight. I would love to explore the history of the building and the woman for whom it was named.
