We tried this aesthetic coffee shop on a weekend afternoon. The place is very well thought of and designed to be aesthetically beautiful. Tried the classic Cappuccino's and really loved them. This place is perfect for studying or getting some work done. The service is really nice and the ambiance is really cozy.

Might be my new favorite neighborhood coffee shop! Great place to work, super cute inside, and friendly staff. The person working was very patient in answering my questions and even offered me a little taster of the flavor I was considering. I went with the orange blossom latte with oat milk and it was just what I wanted! Will be back.

Cute and small coffee shop located in a semi residential area. Parking might be tough but it's located on a nice scenic street. The service was quick and the menu was simple. The my Vanilla Latte wasn't overly sweet and had a good vanilla bean flavor. Would come again if I was visiting.

Honestly ?? Terrible matcha which is very sad it was very powdery. The girls also can't tell what the difference between whole milk and oat milk. They are sassy if you try to ask. Such a cute place. Coffee not as good.

I ordered a salted caramel soy latte, bourbon caramel latte & pumpkin chai bread. Lattes 6.5/10. The milk to coffee ratio was a little high. The bread 8/10. The atmosphere of this place is very cute and definitely a study/work environment. They have a decent amount of seating inside and a couple seats on the porch in the back and on the ground when you come in.

Large Iced Masala Latte had a strong flavor, with the chai spices really coming through, but wasn't too sweet and still balanced with the coffee and milk. Perfect drink for Fall! Three sizes available, with all of them containing 2 shots of espresso.

I will be a Case Study Coffee fanatic for as long as I exist. Yelp doesn't allow me to post all the photos that I want too because there are too many. I've gone about once a week for the last three years. I buy the deviation blend and use it every day at home. It's perfectly balanced for espresso. I am a HUGE fan of their mocha and I always get extra chocolate. I often aggressively crave their iced jasmine matcha and have several times made a second stop in the middle of the work day. My FAVORITE drink they ever had was the Rose Cardamom latte February 2024. I wish that drink were permanent and available forever. I typically make a cardamom latte every day at home. Their masala latte is the fall is also amazing. And I love the chili mocha in the winter. The staff is always SO NICE and I have had many amazing conversations with them. The inside has lots of cool things to shop or look at while waiting. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The blue tables and are so pretty. Don't skip on the ocean roll pastry. I wish they had chocolate croissants. In high school I prayed to work nearby a Case Study and that prayer has been answered. Easily best coffee in the world.

I got the jasmine matcha latte and I loved it so much. We also ordered a chai latte, and they brew the chai fresh. I loved the seating and vibes of this coffee place. I definitely want to try the bergamot latte soon.

Main seating area with the dangerous head-bonking light fixtures.

Plus: atmosphere is nice, lots of natural light, decent amount of seating, chairs are super comfortable even for a fat babe (super-fats beware that chairs have full sides and may not be accessible for all), and the music doesn't carry over too much into the seating areas, which is nice for conversation and workflow. My dry cappuccino was actually dry, which is surprisingly difficult for many places using non-dairy milk. Minus: despite being a dry cap, flavor-wise it was still just average. Both baristas seemed a bit grumpy, and music in the entryway (where ordering/pickup happens) is WAY too loud--you can barely hear the baristas to order, let alone hear when they call that your order is up. Lastly, while these pendant lights are super neat, I've watched no less than three different people get knocked in the head/face by them while trying to sit down or stand up from their seat (none of whom were exceedingly tall)... maybe consider raising them up by 12" or so to minimize the head injuries?

I chatted with the barista, he was super nice and had some time to chat, so talked coffee and what they were brewing, which was the house blend and a single origin, I asked for one of each. The single origin was light and fruity as I'd expect, nice acidity and a crisp finish, whereas the house blend, their Deviation Blend, had a stronger body and less acidity, but still managed to get in some good notes of dried fruit and a nutty flavor. Both were perfectly pulled, with nary a bitter or sour note to be found. All in all, a great little quick trip for coffee, a place I'd definitely go to again.

If this were a tv show, I'm sure someone would show up at the end of each month with a comically oversized check saying, "congratulations, you've gauged Portlanders' pockets for another month!" This isn't my first experience here. I've been a handful of times, averaging 2x/year (it's the closest place near my work). I've mostly kept my opinions to myself, except for the poor, unfortunate souls around me after I empty my purse for one of these drinks. But today, I was charged $7.50 for the smallest latte I have quite literally ever seen. I've included a picture of it next to my 12oz can for reference. There was nothing special about my drink. They charged a base price of $6.25, plus a $1.25 up charge for soy milk. Although, for the size of the drink, it looks like it has only a splash.
