I purchased their espresso beans back at the end of September when I was visiting my hometown in Portland I bought them in Gresham Oregon( great coffee). BUT... On my return to Portland for Christmas, the the coffee wasn't the right blend. It was in the wrong bag or something. Not what I was expecting .. UPDATE!! 2/10/26 They DID RESPOND later! Went here for a caffeine fix after a weekend brunch. It's notably difficult to access the parking if you're going up north on 33rd. I had to turn the corner and squeeze through a tight alley to get to the small lot. Came here on a whim and so glad I did. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and a toasted Swiss and olive bagel, and both were so good. Was staying up the street so wandered over for a morning coffee. This shop is beautiful inside and there is a decent amount of seating. The bummer for me was the food was quite minimal. Just a few pastries. I got one of the cherry hand piles. The filing was great but the texture was pretty crumbly/dry. My husband and I were visiting from Southern CA to do a fall foliage road trip, and I came across Autumn Coffee Roasting, as it was nearby our Airbnb. The BEST vanilla latte I have ever had. All three mornings before we started our day, we'd stop at Autumn Coffee. FANTASTIC coffee. This is a brand new shop on corner of Killingsworth and 33rd. Upon entry I was greeted by a clean and bright space, and a smiling owner named Andrew. I had a great espresso, and a SUPERB cup of drip coffee. The best one had in portland. Juicy, deep, soft, delicious. I'm a bit of a coffee nerd, with around 7 brewing options at home, and this is the only shop I've been to in portland that has better coffee than I can make in my own kitchen. Not my favorite spot I've been to, but definitely still a good place to go! I did find it a little pricey, but the delicious avocado toast on soft sourdough bread made up for it! Unfortunately when we went, there was only one employee working there when it was quite busy, so we didn't get our food for quite a while, thinking she may have forgotten about us. However, we were patient as being understaffed was no fault of that employee. She apologized profusely and gave us discount cards once she did serve us our food, which was really kind of her. I did find my chai to be a little too spicy for my liking as I like my chais a bit sweeter. I'm sure if I would have asked, the employee could have sweetened it up for me. They also have a decaf that is hugely impressive, best decaf coffee with the notes you expect and can't usually get from a decaf. The environment of the shop is clean and productive. Y'all, I had the wildest, coolest experience here!! I was having a nasty morning and decided I would try to turn it around by picking up some hot bevvies for my office mate and I at a cool new(ish) coffee spot. I popped into the storefront for the first time, ordered two drinks and a house-made everything bagel with cream cheese. While I waited, I ended up having a great conversation with the owner. (Very community-oriented, we love it!) After getting to work a few minutes later, I came to the terrible realization that I FORGOT MY BAGEL. I was sooo sad but ultimately decided I would drive back over to (hopefully) retrieve the missing bagel. But here's the thing: When I got there, I was informed that the owner had PERSONALLY DRIVEN THE STILL-HOT BAGEL TO MY WORKPLACE AND DROPPED IT OFF AT THE FRONT DESK. I was sooo floored and soo impressed. Talk about customer service! This act of kindness totally turned my day around, and impressed the heck out of all of my coworkers. The bagel delivery was definitely the talk of the town that day so I think we all found our new favorite local coffee shop. Oh and the coffee was great AND the bagel was as delicious as it looked. I discovered autumn coffee years ago at the Vancouver farmers market. I'm so happy they finally have a brick and mortar store and in an accessible part of town.
