This is my favorite after work, school or even gym spot for the amazing drinks and even better service. I've been going here for many years and I every time I'm greeted with smiles and feel at home. The coffee alternatives are exquisite so they have something for everyone even people with dairy restrictions with various milk alternatives. I absolutely love this place, I've been getting 20 percents on my online quizzes for college and then when I came into java and took one I got 100%. I really like this place! One of the better coffee places in town. The staff is always really friendly and I've always enjoyed all of my coffee drinks there. Excellent little quaint coffee shop unexpectedly situated in a small strip mall. Very comfortable seating (though somewhat limited), they have many great hot or cold drink choices. Lots of great food choices also. Service was excellent as well, all employees were smiley, attentive, and patient with both my wife and my 11 year old son. My only complaint would be the size of the egg and bacon on the bacon egg and cheese croissant. There was not a lot of egg or bacon on the sandwich, mostly just the breading; but it was still good. We would definitely return to this coffee shop. read more

Best coffee in Westerly! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place to enjoy regular coffee or multiple specialty lattes, espressos, chais while reading your paper or latest book. Also, the baked goods (muffins, bagels, rolls, egg sandwiches) are all good. Will definitely be back. The only disappointment is the gelato, which they claim is made on premises. I suggest they get lessons since the chocolate and tiramisu flavors were grainy/icy and lacked depth of flavor. Also, while the coffee and baked goods are reasonably priced, the gelato is pricey for the portion size. read more

First the good: the service was friendly and helpful and the decor was fun. We ordered a delicious warm pistachio muffin that was great. The coffee, however, was atrocious. I ordered a flat white. It came in a 12oz cup (a bit large for a flat white) and was topped with over an inch of over aerated, gummy, burnt milk. The espresso was bitter and over extracted. On closer inspection of the equipment I noticed that the steam wands were covered in burnt milk and the portafilters were just sitting on the counter. Not only was the machine not clean, but the baristas clearly were not trained. My wife ordered a spiced chai that was so sweet she didn't finish it. Very disappointed given all the positive reviews. read more

Amazing, extensive selection of teas, healthful & specialty drinks, not to mention irresistible treats and gelato in the warmer months. This place is a rare find! We were driving through from Boston to New York City and needed a coffee. I wasn't expecting them to have any "fancy" items but they actually had nitro cold brew (very good, btw)!! As well as matcha latte and various other delicious choices. There are pastries and food, too, but I didn't get to try that. Their tea selection is fantastic - more than a dozen flavors (all from Harney and Sons, so it's good quality tea). The staff was rather nice, especially this one guy (he wears a baseball cap, didn't get his name!). Plenty of seating (though we didn't stop for long), including tables and couches. There are coloring books and little toys for kids. There is also cool merchandise for purchase (shirts, jewelry, mugs) - just a very eclectic place! They are open quite late - until 8pm or 9pm, depending on the day, which is awesome because most places around here seem to close at 6pm or earlier and I need coffee at all times of the day lol. Point of this long review is to say I'm so happy I stumbled upon it and I'll definitely stop by again when I'm driving through. read more
