It never occurred to us that we had never seen hemlock bark until it was delivered and looked (and smelled) just like compost. They assured us they delivered the right product but we had to prove it for ourselves. So we brought a small sample in to City Bark and a very nice man took us to the hemlock bark section so we could verify that our product was exactly what we ordered. And it was! We felt slightly embarrassed but better educated --- the folks here may have wanted to feel irritated but they were very patient with us. And something else: this place treats our military veterans with respect. What is there not to like?

I hated taking my recycling and trash down when it gets full because there is only one trash area in my complex and it was a major wreck! Now that ZipEco is offered to us I love "trash day". The person working our route is always here right at 7pm so I can bring in the receptacle before I head to sleep for the night. The instructions for use are well explained and easy to do, and nightly service makes it easy to stay on top of your housework. Before my roommates and I would stuff the trash so full we could barely close it because none of us wanted to take the trash down the stairs and then fight for space in the full dumpster. My neighbors never flattened their cardboard boxes down so the recycling was a nightmare every week. Now with the rules ZipEco has in place they have to flatten the boxes and recycle correctly if they want it to be taken! ZipEco was the best idea my management has ever had, I appreciate this company so much, they make the worst part of housework way easier for me.

Today, I pulled into a parking spot, waited less than 1 minute, and forklift dude came over with a cart and I pushed our dryer into it. I walked over to cashier dude, had a pleasant conversation with him, and got paid 4 dollars. Now I could have dropped off my dryer at the dump down the street and PAID THEM about $20.00 to dispose of it, but instead EH Metal Recycling PAID ME $4.00. So for me, they are getting 5 stars for 2 visits. Thank you EH for providing this service! Not sure what goodie I will have for my next trip, but I will definitely bring it to EH. Thank you.

The dumpster has huge holes leaking sewage and rot onto the ground creating an infestation of maggots all over the property. I have complained to them about this and they said I need to speak with the apartment complex about that. I have tried to do that on numerous occasions and they are ignoring the problem much like waste connections. This is a serious health issue, one that needs to be addressed, and one that is being created by waste connections faulty dumpsters.

I am posting photos however there is more to see here…read more If you are homeschooling, this would be a good place to take a field trip for things like recycling, rock identification, landscaping, and more! If you are a high-school senior educator or vocational instructor, again, this is a great place to visit for job possibilities in life after school. This place is huge! I have included a pic of 2 photos they have in their office. The office is located on a tiny fraction of the land. They have mulch options, rock options, lawn recycling options just to start. They can deliver or help you load your vehicle/trailer. They also have boxes they can leave at your home then come back and pick up once you fill it. All that is on their price lists. Jessalyn was in the office when I arrived. She was extremely well versed in all they offer. I received bags and a sharpie to take with me out to the rocks so I could take samples and write on the bags. She was friendly, and helpful! When it came to the price list, it is very thorough, and Jessalyn was able to break it down for me. For example a big black garbage bag of lawn debris can be about $3 a bag. (Obviously prices are subjected to change). She explained how much the average truck bed holds and what that equated to in cubic yards and explained where that was on the price sheet. I have been getting quoted from local stores and individual landscapers and the prices here are in line with other quotes. There were other employees that came in who also were well versed in landscaping, and offered me great alternatives to what I was planning and why what they were suggesting would be a better option. It wasn't about trying to upsell me something, they actually cared enough to let me know my project might not be stable enough unless I switched out a couple things. I appreciated this as I hadn't thought of it and, what was suggested would be a cleaner and safer way to complete my project! Thank you all! When I asked about a couple of services they don't offer, they had local recommendations available for me. I will definitely be using their services. The only thing needing upgrading is the signage on the way in and clearing directions on where to park. With it being so big, it would be nice to have maps at the office they can hand out with directions on where specifically to go and park when you arrive at your desired destination within their business grounds.
