I have never used a "junk" hauler prior to last week. I went on Yelp to get an idea of how this service worked, how they arrived at the cost etc. As I was browsing I got a message asking if I would like to get an estimate from 5 retailers near me. That was exactly what I needed. Within a half hour I had 5 responses, 4 had sent estimates and 1 requested a photo of the items to be hauled away ( a full size mattress & box spring and 1 leather recliner). 3brothers was the first and quickly answered all my questions; est.charge, their availability and the process. The 2 very nice, very tall guys called me when they were within 15 minutes of me, they showed up in about 10 minutes (), looked at the pieces and took the mattress and springs (), returned with the dolly, asked for my card and I signed and they were out the door. I realized there had been note about tipping but as soon as I signed the screen closed. I immediately ran out the door, they were still waiting for the elevator (thankfully) and I said I forgot to tip them, they responded, "that's ok, ma'am, glad we could help you out". (). Dylan and Mel worked above and beyond the call of duty yesterday hauling fifty years worth of teaching paraphernalia out of my basement along with other miscellaneous junk. They arrived to discover far more, extremely heavy boxes of papers than they had expected as well as some very awkward stone steps up which the boxes had to go. Despite the unexpected dilemma they were polite and courteous and maintained a good humor. They worked quickly and efficiently and were consistently positive and friendly. When it became evident that there was no way to fit everything into their van, they made a run to the dump and quickly returned to finish the job rather than leaving me hanging to finish on another day. This led to an extremely long and hard work day for them but they were cheerful and continued working diligently until every last bit was done. I so appreciated their courteousness and willingness to be sure I was satisfied before they left. These guys were FANTASTIC!!! I called several other "Junk" removal places and got outrageous pricing and restrictions (ie., "we don't do that/offer that service"). 3Brothers were very reasonable with pricing and quite accommodating. I had household items to be disposed of and hauled away. I also needed help moving some heavy items within my home. I asked if they could move a chair and a king sized mattress from the upper level of my home to the lower level. They said "no problem"! The other service providers I called either would not do both of these or they charged ridiculously high rates. For example what I paid 3Brothers was nearly 1/3 of what a couple of the others that were highly rated on Yelp. On the day of service, as promised, they called when they were about 30 minutes out prior to arrival, they were within the stated service window, the two gentlemen arrived on time and were very friendly. 3brothers was very patient with me after a few project delays. I never felt rushed and felt the pricing was fair. I ended up going with a dumpster rental, and everything was dropped off respectfully, picked up on time and the size turned out to be perfect for the job (17 cubic yard dumpster). When I was considering having a dump truck instead of a dumpster, they also let me know moving items from even inside was possible. I'd done a dump truck rental before elsewhere and that process was one where I had to move everything out into one spot for it to be picked up. While I didn't end up going with the truck, it was great to have that service so clearly stated and offered. read more

I got called back pretty fast after submitting a request on their website. They offered a very reasonable price and we scheduled a time .The guys who came out were super friendly, easy to talk to and, on a completely irrelevant note, super cute lol they got rid of a bunch of stuff that has been haunting me for the last year and a half, and despite the fact that one of the items was a hulking piece of modern day trash that was unreasonably heavy, they got everything loaded super fast. 1-800 JUNK had originally quoted me nearly $800 to remove the items, and these guys did it for $230. We recently moved and have had a few different companies serivce our junk removal hands down 3Brothers are the BEST! They are quick to follow up (in fact I called didnt leave a v/m b/c I was onto the next company and they called me back apologizing they missed my call. I had a really pleasant and easy experience with this company a few months ago. I needed a mattress and an old damaged bed frame removed, called them on a Saturday afternoon and by Monday morning it was taken care of.
