Orange Chicken with false advertised fried rice
    Ariyanna S.

My recent ordered from Jupiter China unfortunately was a 4/10 order took about an hour to arrive. I had the Orange Chicken, which came lukewarm. While the sauce had decent flavor, the chicken itself was dry and left an unpleasant aftertaste.

Stopped into this place bc it's really close to our new apartment and I think it'll be our new Chinese place!! Service was quick and kind, and they had like four people come in to pick up orders in the 10 minutes we were there, so it's pretty popular. The ambiance is pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant. The prices are a little higher than I expected; I think it was $10.99 for chicken fried rice and I'm used to ~$8 for that, but you get a lot of food and you're supporting local! Everything we ordered was really good, from chicken fried rice to egg drop soup, orange chicken and steamed dumplings. They even had crispy noodles with the soup (my favorite)!!! The food reheated well too. I saw other reviewers had problems with their orange chicken but ours was great! I'll definitely be back and I want to try a bento box next time!

Order Terminal and menu. I loved using the terminal, I found it really easy to compile my order.

Came here for lunch takeout and I loved the service and quality of the food! I found the ordering terminal really easy to use, and appreciated being able to decide my order at my own pace

Very impressive food. Very fast service. To go order included soy sauce, sweet n sour, hot mustard, plastic ware. Napkins and a cookie. Literally took 5 minutes to pick up. Food was fantastic!

    Combination fried rice

This is kinda ridiculous! Huge chunks of meat in my Combination fried rice and not enough rice itself.... Customer service is kinda bland... I asked for "iced" water and get a water bottle with no comment I asked for "iced" Dr Pepper and received a bottled Dr Pepper... Also there's false advertising with the pictures on the menus! I wanted a bento box but they claimed it doesn't come with the sushi or wasabi that's shown I'll drive down a little further and go to master wok next time!! They're the best!!

    Egg roll, greasy.

Good authentic Chinese food. Bento box is very good value. Great just add a Chinese style kabob.

This place is delicious. I have eaten here twice now and both have been great experiences. The Mongolian Beef is a must try.

It was one of my…read morefavorite restaurants growing up, so when I recently visited home in DFW, I had to go back. And wow, the taste is the exact same. The decor is the exact same. The people are the exact same. It was truly a feeling of nostalgia that's hard to describe. My favorite dish has always been, and still is, the bamboo shoots with pork. It is so fragrant, umami, and simply delicious. The west lake soup is also a classic done so well - pro tip to add white pepper to give it a little kick. The steamed pork belly was okay - sauce is flavorful (a touch salty) along with the preserved greens but the pork wasn't as tender as I had remembered it. The fish filets are fried to perfection, full of salt/pepper flavor, and pairs well with the jalapeños. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like. The service can be a little slow because it's just 1 chef and 1 waitress who own the restaurant - same people that have run the show since I first came here probably almost 30 years ago! Incredible to see them still working so hard and serving delicious food. They'll never know how much their restaurant and food means to me!

Great flavor and the pork didn't have that weird pork taste some Asian places have. The crispy smoked duck pancake was awesome and worth the steeper price. I wasn't a fan of the sauce alone, but in the pancake was excellent. The eggroll was a decent eggroll and the duck sauce that came with it was the best sauce I've had with an eggroll. The lady working was sweet and was working her butt off with the 5 tables she had. Felt great to support a local business. The restaurant itself is out dated but the tables and utensils were clean. The atmosphere added to the experience and the background music was just perfection.

All the food had amazing flavors so I would recommend everything. My only note was the beef in the noodles was slightly chewy so I would suggest another protein option. The service was great. The restaurant is spacious with many tables to accommodate different size parties so it did not take long for us to get seated.

This is close enough, that I'm considering it Dallas. I liked everything we've chose. Soup dumplings- Xio lao bao and the pan fried dumpling were both delicious and surprisingly something that my children actually wanted to eat. This is more of an authentic restaurant, and so they don't even offer a french fries (childrens go-to food). So I was pleasantly surprised that they liked the dumblings enough to eat them all. The crab cheese puff was good, but the beef burrito was absolutely delicious. If choosing between those two- I would go for the burrito. The three pepper spicy chicken was also very good, and we especially liked the bang bang noodles with beef. It was a fun twist to have scissors and I love a location that makes their own noodles so that was fantastic. It would be great if we had them down in Houston. The only thing that I didn't love was the customer service. They we're not attentive, and I had to keep asking for things like straws for the cups, napkins and other basic things that you think they would bring out on their own. Overall, I'm not docking off any more stars because we were just grateful to have halal chinese options.

My friend and I were craving Peking duck, so we decided to try it out. The reviews were promising,…read moreand I had heard that they carve the duck tableside. We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.

But regardless, we didn't have enough skin so asked if we can get 2 more skins, even if we had to pay for them. We ordered the A-Choy vegetable and it was awful, old and yellow and not cooked well. It's like they didn't sauté it in a hot enough wok so it wasn't crispy. So disappointing this time. Don't get me wrong, the Peking Duck and the soup that comes with it were still pretty good. Thus the second star.
