We came here after my nephews graduation. We were a group of maybe 16. They gave us our table and we ordered our drinks and food... When our food finally arrived they completely forgot about our table... They didn't give us any plates to eat from... That is until a gentleman came by and finally realized that we were just eating free hand (I mean it was pizza) he kindly gave us some plates and we continued conversing... Best wings in Turlock by far. But too many cons for me to want to come back to stay and eat. Cons: Way too loud, even for the people who arent sitting in the bar area. And too crowded. You have to go up to the bartender and order when you are ready. Pizza is expensive for the cardboard pizza you get. We had to get plastic cups for our beer. Would recommend the wings and fries. and maybe a try and stay, might have been an off night, but I dont think I will be going back to stay and drink. read more

The new location is more of a heap than the last. If you order take out, be sure to check your order before you leave because Jura himself will be sure to screw it up. Worst experience ever!!! After waiting over an hour, and seeing countless people get their pizza before us, we asked the owner how much longer we would have to wait and he said he would check for us. He never came back. After another 15 minutes I went up to the counter and asked for a refund. Got no apology or explanation for why our food never came out when clearly our pizza was forgotten, skipped over, or given to someone else. Around 10 groups that came after us got their pizza and ours never came. As we were walking out of the restaurant the pizza came out to the table. We left it there untouched. Absolutely love the new location! Please note that any reviews prior to August 2018 are discussing their old location. They just remodeled a new suite in the DD's Discounts Center (the Canal side where Sherwin Williams used to be!!) It's very spacious and well planned out! The new bar area is awesome! They have new arcade games as well so my kiddos love that. We can always count on Juras for some bomb wings, a crispy linguica pizza, fries and a cold pitcher of beer. New location but worse service. Waitress did not want to be there. When we arrived there was a handful of people and after an hour it was full and everyone was getting orders while we were still waiting. I went to talk to the owner and was intercepted by his wife/sister who knows and she told me oh we thought it was to go. Then she told me she would have it right out and that never happened so we left. This people have a good idea on how to make a decent pizza but have no clue how to run a business. Omg!!!!! I was so excited to dine at your new location. My family from the bay loves to come over and eat at juras.... This trip sucked as it had before but the pizza is good so never complained. This was soooo bullshit. I went to put ranch on my plate and the lid wasnt on so it went all over me and my new phone. The game that my son wasted money on doesnt work at all and the change machine isnt taking any money so lets stand in long line to get change...and my pizza was cut like shit and missing toppings and was so damn small.... The food is really good. But I hate going here because their new location is so dirty and disgusting. We were just there yesterday and I did not want my kids to touch anything. One of the arcade games had black finger prints all over it, so gross. The soda machine was super dusty. It smells old and dirty in there. The only reason we go is because the pizza, wings & fries are so good. If it wasn't we wouldn't step foot in that place. We only go once in a great while when my husband has a craving for juras, if it was cleaner and kept up better we might go more often. read more

Jura's is the spot for wings and fries but I feel like over the last couple of years it's gotten dirtier and dirtier. Literally couldn't find a clean spot to sit in the entire restaurant and the chairs and tables were all scattered with something on every table in the bar. I've been a customer for over 30 years, and have posted many positive reviews but tonight was the worst experience I've had. Stayed on automated hold trying to order my food to pick up and after about 20 minutes was told to go to Jura'spizzaparlor.com and was disconnected. I ordered on line at the site and waited 25 minutes before heading to the restaurant. Arrived to find a packed house. Probably 75+ patrons eating and drinking. Tables of 12-14 people obviously not from the same household unless it was a fraternity. No respect when walking to fill up their drinks at the soda fountain not wearing a mask. Would not be surprised if we have a COVID Outbreak just from this evening. After waiting in line for a good 10-min finally gave the young girl at the register my order confirmation number. She went in the back and told me and the guy in front of me in the line that our online orders were not ready. Again went in back and came and told me my order was not received. So I placed it again . Typically an order of hot wings and fries comes out in under 10 minutes, Not tonight. As my family waits at home with the remainder of our meal ready, I'm waiting and irritated. Nobody working in there tonight was familiar or I would have complained. Finally after an hour from my order time on the phone to receiving my order the young gal has forgotten who's order is even ready and once I remind her she's like oh they processed your order twice so here is two. While extra wings and fries make my teenager very happy this is just terrible service. The city of Turlock could be making some money in fines if they enforced Covid restrictions because tonight Jura' s was out of compliance. I don't know how to explain all the rave reviews. I picked up pizza at their new location and it was absolutely packed. The building is huge with dark, expansive rooms filled with tables, cafeteria style, and plenty of wings and beer pitchers being passed around. I get the feeling that it's a Turlock mainstay. For once, Yelp has led me astray. Stuck in the Central Valley with a hankering for pizza, I scoured the internets to discover Jura's. We were mainly looking for something that wasn't a Dominoes, Pizza Hut, or Little Caesar's, so Jura's seem to fit the bill. However, this place is a bit of a dank hole. The dining hall is a shanty town of cheap, portable tables, stained with pizza sauce and hot wings. If you are lucky, you might get to wipe your own table. Service was indifferent and the pizza lacked any pride in its creation. Topics were plentiful, but the overload of ingredients prevented the cheese from getting a good caramelization - instead being steamed under a sauna of ham and pineapple. I ate a few slices, but didn't have the will to finish the pie, a rarity for me when it comes to eating pizza. read more

First timer.. I ordered pizza 15 mins before I got in and told them we would be there in about 15-20mins. We walked in and the place has a terrible smell and it was hot inside. After sitting for less than 5 mins our pizza arrived and it was not hot but seemed as it was sitting under heat laps. The crust is terrible and I feel as a frozen pizza tastes way better. I asked for ranch so I could drown the pizza in it and the girl tells me oh it's on the table. Last time I checked you're not supposed to leave salad dressings sitting out on tables. Juras has the best pizza and wings around ( If you want good wings do not go to Shooters, they serve wings so tiny looks like it came from a humming bird) Juras wings are full, juicy, fresh and spicy. The pizza taste homemade in a good way. Not like any other pizza place around. They just opened up a pretty good sized bar area with projector screen as well as a mass of flat screens on every wall. We made reservations for 60 people for my son's 1st birthday party about a month ago, and it when it came to the date, they told us that they didn't have our names down. Apparently, they gave our date to someone else who reserved it for 100 people. There is no respect or honor setting up reservations in this place. Costumers beware. read more

What can I say? Jura's is great. Aside from the 9 flat panel TVs that have been recently added, the place hasn't changed much in the last 20 years that I've been going there. The pizza is still made the same way it was when I was a kid and it has a very unique taste. The place is great for watching any sports event. Lots of beer, lots of wings, lots of pizza. The food is great. The pizza has a crispy crust and the toppings are piled on HIGH. Trust me, skip the typical franchise pizza joint and get something different and fresh. Walk in with a group of friends, order a couple of pies and get your wings spicy and you're set. read more
