Have eaten here twice per suggestions from Yelp on my way through town, and must say that have not been steered wrong. Buffalo Wings are truly authentic, which is difficult to find in California. Pizza is above average as well. Will be back for sure next time passing through. read more

The best wings I've had in a long time. Sauce is excellent and they are not soggy. Crisp with the perfect amount of sauce. I only gave four stars because I haven't tried anything else but fries which are good normal restaurant quality. If you like playing musical chairs this is the place to go. Tables have "reserved" signs and even if they don't staff will come by and plop a sign on your table because someone has paid to reserve the table and the unfriendly waitressess will rudely ask you to move. New location a total disaster, seems to be no organization with staff. Everyone seems to be running around and has no clear directions as to what their specific duties are. While at Juras, we were insulted by none other then the owner. I do not understand the good reviews for this place! It is never under any circumstance ok to insult a customer! The very sad part to all of this is people say well it's just the way he is, if that's really the case he should not be in the restaurant business. I had visit this place a couple of times in the past and I never had a bad thing to said I enjoy my visits. I specially enjoy being served by one of the bartenders I believe her name is Jess (she is awesome) but on my last visit Wednesday I was very disappointed by the way this place became the personal playground for the owner Juras or at least I was told he is the owner. I came into the bar and the first thing I hear is Juras using profanity to degrade women like (p$&&y and then he continue by saying "fuck the customers and I don't give a fuck if they don't come!" Very loud I had invited my coworkers and bosses because they were looking for a place to have our company party I'm sorry to say my boss was disappointed and we ended up leaving. This sucks because I really had a good time before but I will have to take my business somewhere else since I have small children and I don't want to exposed them to this kind of behavior. read more

All my friends love this place but I hate it. If everyone is going, I will tag along and deal with it but after today I won't go again. Yes, it smells nasty (like mildew). Yes, it is extremely outdated (nothing matches and looks straight out of the 80's). And Yes, it is dirty (sticky tables and chairs and napkin holders which were mostly empty). I was too afraid to go in the restroom. My husband loves their wings but I think they are gross and super dry. Not fresh chicken by a long shot. I guarantee the chicken and fries they serve are frozen because they have zero flavor. I ordered a small pizza with Canadian bacon, onions and pineapple. Holy crap I've never seen a more lazily made pizza. The onion pieces were waaay too big and whoever made it literally took a can of diced pineapple out of the fridge and dumped it on top of the pizza. How do I know this? Because the pineapple was cold! Not warm, not room temperature, but cold. Disgusting. Who in their right mind would think that's ok to serve to someone and then charge them $12.75? Robert Irvine from restaurant impossible needs to get in here quick! Jura's is a classic Turlock icon, but really, they need to seriously step it up. Well this is sure not like the old Jura's. I did not have the chance to eat here cause, when we walked in my lady smelled a strong order of sewage, it was so over whelming, plus get this, there was no bread, no hamburgers, no sandwiches, I think we sat at the table for like 10 minutes and said the hell with this, we went to red robin. i just had a bad gut feeling between all the bad reviews and that sewage smell, Im out never to return. what they had at the old juras place was long gone lost, I will take the other reviewers words for it and save my self the money and sewer smell. Plus I know what raw sewage smells like, we had a sewage break 9 months ago, it was gross, so when we both smelled that smell we knew right away what it was, I could just imagine if the pizza dough and god knows what else is being made with the water pipes running through there, its just one of those things were you say, why take a chance. read more

Well, what can I say, Pap one of the owes was definitely hating the fact that she had so many people show up for the the Christmas 2015 Santa pub Crawl. This was a complete disaster, totally uncoordinated between her and Kristin Bettencourt along with the other board members. First of all Pap was in a pussy mood because of the coordination that individual attendees took to stay with a group. Second the finale of the entire event was promoted to complete at Red Brick, there was never any instruction or coordination as to any changes in completion of the event. The Event board as well as the individual bar participants were at conflict as to where and how to proceed. Not worth the money or the hassle I'll donate my money directly and take the tax credit that way instead of giving it to the The bar crawl coordinators. memo' Bar was not willing to take the o reflow of individuals looking for dinner wither...even with an empty house. will definitely take my 22 participants to another location like Modesto to spend the money on drinks and dinner for sure. Stay away and enjoy your time at Stayley's and Udder place for sure. read more
