We had this for dinner to go on Friday and it was delicious. I got a Carne Asada burrito, which was super tasty. I loved the tortilla. It tasted very fresh. The burrito was bursting with meat that was very tender and flavorful. It was also rice and beans in the burrito, which I feel that the burrito needed more because it was overpowered by the meat. There was the gooey mozzarella cheese as well, but it definitely could have used more. Overall, this is a very solid burrito and definitely something I would order again. I absolutely love the green avocado salsa as well. It compliments the flavors of the burrito and the meat perfectly and is the right amount of heat for me. read more

I've been meaning to try this place out for ages! I finally went last night and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements made to the building since Betos was there. It looks like a wall was removed, new flooring and better lighting throughout. The menu boards are big and clear to read. But there is a little asterisk saying that the prices are for cash transactions only. In this day and age just list what card price will be. Ordering was easy and we got a regular taco, a gringa taco and a burrito plus a Jamaica Fresca. They gave us a little buzzer for once our food was ready and there was a line when we walked in but it was fast moving. We had 3 kinds of meat: Asada, Sudadero and Pollo. Each one was tender and perfectly cooked. SO YUMMY! The tortillas were fresh and hot. We always appreciate grabbing our own toppings and were happy with their little section. We did notice that the limes are not self serve, they come with your plate. The Jamaica Fresca was a new one for us, very floral and sweet. Now this place is small and drove past so needed to make a u-turn. This is a roadside taco joint inside a larger building. Inside was 4 tables. This place is all takeout for the most part but we stayed to eat. Stepped right up and ordered 4 Tacos, Tripe (crispy chewy), Pollo (tender, juicy, flavorful), Carne Asada (tender, not greasy nice flavor) and Chorizo (crispy tender& spicy). Unlike the last place, these tacos were not soaking wet or pre-covered with toppings which were located at separate serving station. Was served in 5 minutes. Best tacos thus far in Utah. This place is super tasty! Noticed it a while back when visiting the donut shop next door in Springville, and finally went to try it out. It's a hole in the wall place that serves street tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and more. We got a bunch of carne asada street tacos, as well as a few carne asada "gringa" tacos, which is basically a street taco but with a bunch of melted mozzarella cheese on it. Those were the surprise delight of the meal, they were super tasty. Also we got our son a quesadilla and that was super tasty as well, so we expect to try some of their other options as well. Obviously with the Coronavirus stuff going on right now the dine-in was closed, but normally they have a little bar of a variety of toppings typical to what you'd find at a street taco place. Cilantro, onion, radish slices, and a variety of salsas. They have specials every day such as their 1 dollar taco Tuesday. If your in to Taco Bell I would not recommend this place, it helps if you speak Spanish and if you order is Cabeza, Campechano, Tripa or Lengua your in for a slice of Mexican heaven. These are easily the best tacos I've had in Utah County. It's a well-kept secret and I only happened to notice it one day while driving by on old state street into Springville. Be prepared- it *used to be cash-only, so the first time I poked my head in I couldn't order. The al pastor taco came with a slice of grilled pineapple on top which was way tasty, and the plate came with a grilled onion. YUM. The salsa bar was simple, but more than sufficient - fresh limes, red and green sauce, onions, cilantro, radishes, and pickled? onions. I had lime, fresh onion, and cilantro on mine (plus a dollop of the different sauces), but the tacos are excellent as they come. If you're looking for some cheap and tasty eats (and some enjoyable eavesdropping in Spanish), give this place a try. *at the end of the visit, we asked one of the guys what the hours were and tried to confirm that it was cash only - he was really funny about it - "yeah, actually we have square now, AND we take checks... and if you don't have money, come and we'll feed you anyway." This is one of those places that is so close. Ok. I am giving it a three stars, but if you do take out I would say four. The reason? The place can be pretty nasty inside. The tacos are nice street tacos, they are fast and well done. I tried a few kind. The downside, and the part I can never get over in so many places in Springville is that it is a dump. I would definitely define this place as a whole-in-the-wall restaurant! There are only four tables, but I haven't had a problem with seating when I've gone. I was really happy with the service though. I asked the lady at the desk what the cabeza taco was like, and she brought out a whole cabeza taco for me to try.
