He spent over 2 hours with the piano, making this newly inherited heirloom sing again to make my grandma proud. He was very honest, and did not upsell me or even try to. In fact, I tried to upsell him and asked about a cleaning since this piano had been sitting for a few decades. He said it was in excellent condition, and his mantra was "If it's not broke, don't fix it," which I really appreciated. He also explained every step of the process, and used a tool that allowed me to watch him as he tuned it. I could see how when he first came it was really out of pitch and tune on the app, and then when he did the full tuning I could watch the symbol on the app go into the tuned position. He was also a really nice, courteous guy. He took off his shoes on our new carpet. He never asked me to leave a review, and I'm glad I went with him. I'm definitely going to use him again.

Allegro piano service It's a little bit more expensive than some other piano tuners but you get what you pay for. I was always happy with the tuner who took care of my instruments for about 20 years so their endorsement was important to me. Using the online scheduling system I made an appointment about a month or so out since it was the soonest available. There were follow up e-mails and confirmation of the day and time and Brian showed up on schedule. Since I know enough about pianos to be dangerous we had a conversation about what I needed from this service, go over my wishes from my first e-mail and clarify what my priorities were. A piano like mine that has not been serviced in a long time did have other problems that were diagnosed quickly and solutions were offered that could be done easily and with a minimum of additional charges to the total bill. Tuning, regulating the action and voicing the hammers made a big difference, plus all the little things I asked for got taken care of. I knew from experience that this was going to take some time which in turn meant it would cost more than "just a tuning." I have no gripes about the bill. Bottom line: you get what you pay for and this servicing resulted in a playable piano that I can enjoy rather than one that collects dust and is a nice place to display family photos.

The lady over the phone and in person was very helpful and thoroughly explained the year contract. She made sure to mention all the hidden fees beforehand. The instrument itself looked very used. But what do you expect for an affordable price. And since it was a rental, it's going to look worn out. My only concern was it worked. The offer you a complimentary lesson too for renting their instrument. But for some reason, the instructor overbooked and had us wait for half an hour. Not a great thing, especially on a school night. Overall, no complaints here. I will update if anything changes.
